That amazing decade that took place after the 1960s and before the 1980s.

Backstory: During the photo session, when photographer (Brian) Duffy asked (David) Bowie what the name of the album was to be called, Bowie said "A Lad Insane." Duffy, deeply involved in his craft of 'shuttered light,' one can suppose, misheard it as "Aladdin Sane."
As is common for such an anticipted stellar record from such a rock and roll giant as Bowie, a whole slew of photos were taken; only one would make the cover. Talk about a dilemma in decision making.
With Duffy's highly-skilled eye, each and every one of them would have been a qualified contender. As one might say, "the rest is rock 'n' roll history."

I am the oldest with probably a cough drop in my mouth. My sister is the most unhappiest one in the prairie dress on the far right. Coming in second place for the moderately unhappiest is my cousin in the cool red pants. And finally the award goes to my smallest cousin exhibiting the non-verbal cues personifying bewilderment, exhaustion, and a stoic 1970’disposition towards pain and suffering.
