Just off the top of my head: Diff’rent strokes Webster Punky Brewster Annie
Other shows would often have an orphaned kid show up in an episode, or be adopted into the show. I know Diff’rent strokes started in the 70’s, and Annie’s based on a comic strip from the 30’s. Even so there seems to be a lot of orphan centered media in the 80’s. Was there a reason other than “orphans make cute sympathetic characters”? Was there much orphan content before these shows? It seems like the concept lost popularity after this, unless im forgetting.
Old desk ,wood walls ,Atari 800 ,nothing but nostalgia all day long😎pacman ,E.T.(yes it was awful),space invader,Digdug good frigen times.
Bryce, Hoops McCann, Lloyd Dobbler, Lane Meyer?
My personal favorite is Martin Blank but doesn’t fit here.
I love the 80's a ton, but also I love to make fun of things. I tried to make the most generic 80's song ever with Udio and it turned out totally catchy.
“Oh, it looks good on you though.”
One of the greatest zombie movies made. What stands out from the others - the zombies are smart and can communicate.
Favorite quotes: “Send more paramedics” - zombie on a CB “Send more police” zombie on another CB
This movie was a wild ride from start to finish.
First a horse scene 😭 trauma..... straight trauma for both the protagonist and me as a child.
But the ending scene of this movie was something that also stuck with me for a long time kind of gave me a small fear of gigantism
For those who don't know where this is from which have a hard time imagining the movie is called. The NeverEnding story. And even to this day it's an interesting movie to watch and still guts me on certain parts.
If you are from the 80's, the answer is probably (some version of) "Hey! Hey what? GET LAID GET FUCKED"
What did you sing?
Used to wake ‘n bake every Saturday in college for this show. Amazing. Such a great cast.
