I have a basic, old work chair. Planning to get a new one. I have back pain, hence prefer ergonomic versions. My wife wants something that looks good. Would really appreciate suggestions.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but essentially looking for a way to have my gaming pc and work laptop linked to a dual monitor setup. Ive been told a KVM switch would work but not sure what the best option for this is. The gaming pc is preferred to have a DP connection for 2k (140FPS) but other than that I have no other requirements.
The corner behind the Kallax is already occupied and sadly can't be used in another way. Thank you all in advance!
I am jealous of some of the setups here. I thought I would shake things up by posting a picture of my mess…
WFH (cloud engineer) and gaming setup. The monitors are the same size but my OCD doesn’t like that they’re different brands (I own the LG and the Samsung is a loaner from work). Personal and work laptop are in the 3D printed stand on the left. The TV isn’t connected to the PC and rarely used. I’d like to eventually get a sit/stand desk and (if I get one) am debating on stacking the ultra wides vertically for more desk space instead of side by side.
I just ordered a second monitor, so my main would be a 34 inch and second would be a 27 inch. I’m getting a dual arm to hold both monitors, and potentially some lighting (looking at the Nanoleaf hexagon wood ones). What else should I do to organize it better? Also need some recommendation for cable management as well
We're looking to purchase a house in the next year, when discussing "must haves" I told hubby I wanted a dedicated work space, not a corner of our room. He agreed.
So while looking at floor plans we found 2 we like. One has a study attached to the master bedroom (8'8"x 10'6") but there's no door. It's between the masterbedroom & the living room, but the entry is in the bedroom.
The other is actually a bedroom (9'9"x14'4") but it's the room between the living room & kids room, so I'll be getting sound from both areas, but it also has a door.
I work 11:30-8, so during the day it's quiet but the evenings & holiday breaks are very loud. Both have windows.
Would you rather have a bigger room with a door, but it's in the middle noisiest areas of the house, or a smaller room with no door, but in what should be a quieter area?
Hi guys!
I've started my first WFH job last time and I decided to renovate my office a little bit. Firsly, I bought standind desk cause I like working when I stand. I like minimalistic style and I don't wanna have a lot of stuff on my desk. What I need is videocamera and headphone. What would you add to my desk setup? I am thinking about some LEDs around desk to make some backround light.
I have PC right now but it would be replaced with mac mini or laptop. Messy cables would be also organized - I just waiting for some cabel management things.
What are yours must have things working from home?

I want to take all my existing monitors and wall mount them on mostly drywall, there are some steel studs on the wall. Im unsure the best way to go about this. Kids are kids, I dont want the montors falling.
On top of the cost is always going to be an issue, I constantly have to justify even spending like 2K on ANYTHING in a school.
Gaming on the left, work on the right
