Hi there, I wanted my PC to sit about higher that i could see it and not to get that amount of dust. I decided to get 1 of the drawers in my room I don’t use anymore. I’m going to change my pc case soon for dual chamber one, so it will be wider. What would be the name of a drawer with just walls and top (it has to be 70cm high, around 50-70cm width and 35-40cm deep). Some ikea furniture would fit if you know the name of them.
My office is FREEZING. I have a space heater but it only heats my lower half, having one on my desktop would irritate my eyes and allergies. My face and arms are ice cubes so I’ve been thinking about getting a heat lamp, something like this: https://a.co/d/94BGooK
My searches are turning up mostly reptile lamps but unfortunately I am human and should not be continuously exposed to UVA/UVB light. I’m not sure if there’s the same concern with IR light, most of these are “therapy lamps” but probably not intended to be used all day. Anybody have any advice or other ideas?
So just like others, I'm using my pc at night in a very dark room. I just need some ideas what yall think about it. Im thinking of buying a monitor light bar(will that really help?)
I know it is really not a good thing for our eyes playing in a dark room, but I just want some things to atleast avoid straining my eyes. I set my brightness already. Let me know what you guys been doing about it
Hello everyone! I recently started a job at an office, and I wanted to know if anyone knows a good back support pillow/cushion. We don't have an office chair per se. It is more like a bench with a "cushion," but I'm having difficulty adjusting because of two things.
I'm pretty short, so sitting up straight is hard because I can't place my feet down without going to the edge of the seat.
My lower back has been killing me, so I always have to change how I sit.
I appreciate any advice!
I need to figure out what to put on the wall above the desk, and need better lighting. Any suggestions?
I absolutely HATE my current setup, I just can’t figure out how to make it nice and not just functional. The desk on the right is a manual standing desk, I’ve had to put the computer up on the left so than when I’m standing the cords don’t pull and F everything up. The power on the wall is behind the bin which I have accidentally flicked off multiple times while I’m in the middle of working. It gets incredibly hot by the end of the day so I’ve started running a fan. I’m planning to get maybe 1 bigger screen to replace the 2 but this cost of living is tough so not sure when I can make that happen yet. Any tips or tricks or even thoughts are much appreciated. Please be kind x

Had to move the pc to the bottom, moved the desk from being so close to the wall, and removed some random stuff so here we go!
Due to having three kids and high square meter prices in the area, I currently have a "home office" in our utility room.
The room has a little area of 1.4 meters x 1.4 meters where I can a desk and my dual monitors. However, I would like to optimize the layout. Can you guys help with ideas and inspiration?
Thoughts ? Planning to add some speakers soon
Hi all,
I'm looking for inspiration for my WFH office/gaming room. The size of my desk is 180x80cm and I just can't find a position which feels good and makes the room feel cozy. The door opens into the room and the door that goes out of the room leads to the roof, door is only being used for fresh air. The northern side of the room are windows and the door (which has a glass window aswell).
The options I have tried:
Option 1: pros: can look outside, use the door that leads to the balcony and can see the door entering my room. cons: not really utilising the little space I have effectively.
Option 2: pros: more space around me, room for a small couch etc. cons: this feels very open because I'm next to all the windows.
Option 3: pros: more space around me, room for a small couch etc. cons: don't like sitting with my back exposed to the door.
Option 4: pros: same as option 3 plus I'm in a corner which adds to a cozy feeling. cons: not a lot of space around the entrance and the chair and dont like sitting with my back exposed to the door.
Because I can't really find a position I like I still haven't decorated the room with things like a closet, rug and small tv etc.
I tend to go with option 1 because it feels like a command position, but with all cables (multiple monitors) being exposed to anyone entering the room it looks messy. I have thought of option 2 with a kallax to the right of the desk to create some kind of border between the door and the desk but I'm not sure how it would look. Could also play with curtains to the left of the desk to create more privacy from the windows.
I'm open to suggestions on other positions for the desk or other ideas like using a closet to create a cozy corner or something like that.
Lost my dedicated office when I moved home, but instead I get to work in our 6m x 5m converted stable that functions as a dining room, music room, TV snug and office.

TLDR: has anyone switched from flat dual setup to dual curved? What are you thoughts?
I am currently running dual flat monitor setup, side by side, landscape. I am pretty ok with it, but thinking about upgrade (the old ones are not the best).
Considering curved, because of the angles. And when I imagine the difference - I see that it will feel much better in the center (at the meeting edges), but as well way worse far left and right. But that are just my thoughts.
Has anyone tried both, which one you like better?
I recently discovered this Grovemade Desk that has a really interesting triangular under-desk drawer design, so that the drawer does not restrict your leg space in the front but is deep enough to hold various things towards the back. I've already got a desk I'm happy with, but I would love to be able to add this feature. Has anyone seen a drawer like this that is sold separately? I haven't had any luck in finding one. Thanks!
My nee setup wfh and casual gaming
So I plan to build my workspace with desk 120cm or 140cm.
because i like design of 120 a bit better I wonder how 2x 27" monitor look on desk like that? Can some one send picture if have similar setup.
I'm looking to put a scale/meter in my cubicle that can slide up and down depending on my "mojo".
Has anyone seen something like this? Worst case I might just get a white board and write on it.
Looking for a way to raise this desktop about 3 inches. Currently 28inch high and at work we have adjustable desk that are much more comfortable for me at 31 inches
