I'm not a modder myself, but from what I've heard is that the redkit is essentially the same set of tools the dev used to make the game? I know it was very difficult to make mods especially these kind prior to its release, but now that its been out for a good while I'm surprised there haven't been mods adding some new armors/weapons made from scratch (rather than using/flipping pre-existing assets), or particularly new monsters from previous games/ the lore with custom models/sounds/animations.
Was just curious of its more of a matter-of-time deal and nobody has done it yet, or if that's still something that would be unlikely to see even with the redkit.
Not sure what is causing this, trying to slot in some +% chance to poison in a Viper sword and it just shows "You cannot do that now." error message. Any idea what may be causing this?

I am trying to download New Hairstyles and Beards and the author says replacing the dlc2 file in my dlc folder could break the game, so i was just going to ask if its safe to do it, and if there's anything i should be aware of before replacing the folder.
As a first time mod-user for W3, I'm having trouble figuring out how to install the add-ons mods for BIA (which on its own is very easy to manage). I want to install the LOD bundle and the extended dialogue add-on, but the Nexus page doesn't have any instructions on how to go about it. BIA is the only mod I'm interested in using at the moment, so I'd really appreciate any help on working this out. Thanks!
I'm playing a modded NG+ playthrough (106 mods, the vast majority of which are minor graphical tweaks). Nothing game-breaking. Script merger goes through just fine, no conflicts, no errors. But my blade oils are simply broken. Whether "auto apply oils" option is on or off, if I try to apply the oils manually I get the sound it's supposed to make, but there is still a "0" on the indicator, and there is nothing in the inventory screen for the sword either. They certainly aren't auto-applying either. It's become a completely non-existent mechanic, even though everything (Literally everything) else in the game runs buttery smooth.

I'm entirely aware that any fault here is my own and I'm not asking for anybody to fix it for me, I just don't understand how to troubleshoot this effectively. Do I need to type these functions into the code? Can I remove things here or there to see what causes this? Thanks in advance.
I really don't understand. I'm new at this so I followed a tutorial and did everything (modified input.settings & user.settings & input.xml)
In script merger 2/3 merge succeeded but not the last one (see screenshot).

I downloaded the always full xp mod and I have no idea how to tell if I did it right before I play. Am new to pc and modding so want to make sure I put in the files right
Hey guys, so I played TW3 back when it cake out and checked out some mods. But I only really saw mods that retexture existing gear and changed a few game stats.
However, I saw that cdred finally released official modding tools back in May or something.
My question is, has anything truly original been made yet? What is the state of TW3 modding scene? I loved skyrims mods because there's tons of awesome new weopon and armor mods, new land mods, quest mods... etc. Although skyrim is an empty shallow world compared to TW3, the modding community around skyrim is amazing.
Since the new tools have came out, is there any new content mods for TW3 yall would recommend? Do yall see it growing into something comparable to skyrim? Are there technical limitations of the withers mod tools that prevent people from creating mods like skyrims?

What is it that I seem to be doing wrong? I really liked the list I built and the merge files say nothing about the above mentioned files not workings. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game 3 times, deleting all folders, every time I run script merger it says there are "invalid" lines in mod.settings (but I haven't touched them, it's the file that W3MM set up automatically). Then, when trying to launch W3 through W3MM, I get a script pop-up with like 30 error messages. I REALLY don't understand what the deal is. I'm trying to use like 5 VERY BASIC mods.
All of the NPC Horses (roach is fine) in the game are now sprinkled rainbow. Anyone have any idea of how to fix this?
I really want to add the Cos Wiecej armor mod into AMM, specifically the boots and swords since I love their looks. Does anyone know of an existing mod that does this? Or a way to do it?
I just started a playthrough with this mod on wolf difficulty, and it feels pretty brutal. I got few questions:
I'll be greatful for any tips! Gotta say, I'm a bit suprised since base game was pretty easy, and also with a lot of experience from soulslikes didn't think it would that insanely difficult on wolf difficulty.
Since I'm ultimately modding the original game would I ignore 'line A' in this merge conflict and just put 'line C'? I watched Sinitar's guide but he doesn't really mention if anything from A (Vanilla) should ever be put into the output window. If both B and C were blank would I just put A in if that had some code?
So I posted a week or 2 ago about my game not being able to handle Ciri gameplay whatsoever, at first I thought it was due to my mods but I’ve since then done a completely fresh install of the game, but the problem still persists, it crashes on every single mission that involves controlling Ciri, and crashes during the loading screen as I’m about to play as her, but everything else runs flawlessly, I didn’t even have any crashes in 35 hours with 150 mods installed… only when about to play Ciri… could it be a corrupt save I’m playing on? It also sometimes gives me some random memory error which I’m struggling to get to pop up again to post a pic, are there any other folders which could contain files causing issues? I’m really stumped and annoyed as this is probably my favorite game ever and I just literally can not play it… any help would be appreciated

Do I use Redkit and blender or Modkit to edit the mesh files. And would editing the mesh files be enough?

Help! I play The Witcher 3 on PS4 and I'm having trouble opening chests that contain diagrams for improved armor, they simply don't have the option to open them. This happened with the school of the wolf and the school of the cat, I don't know what to do anymore, does anyone know how I can solve this?

I just downloaded witcher 3 complete edition and this mod Magic spells requires me to edit the input.settings file. I looked in the documents/witcher3 folder and it's not there. Nothing says "input" at all. I searched around but it seems there's very few people who have had this problem. Can anyone help?
I'm new to Witcher 3 modding and am currently running into an issue with the infamous script merger. For some reason it wont detect any script conflicts which is its sole porpoise so now every time I try to lunch Witcher 3 this happens. if anyone knows if I did something wrong or know of a solution help would be appreciated
I have used redkit to edit redanian and other npc soldiers appearances, change colors etc. but I can't figure out where I can edit the weapons they use. In the entity editor on the appearance tab there is a sub tab for equipment next to body, but there is nothing in there. The only thing listed in the inventory tab is fists. I have also never seen a weapons mesh, only armor and clothing. How do you do weapon stuff? Thanks!
