RiiConnect24's Guide is great for that!

Very good, nentendo didnβt make the console I wanted so I made it myself
Which is more suitable to play GameCube and n64 games on my Wii the classic controller or the pro
Hello all
I found this cheapo Wii listing off the internet. The guy says it is softmodded with a large collection of games in it. I have never bought a console before so I don't know what I am doing with anything. If something were to go wrong, would it be possible for me to revert the Wii back into its original firmware? How would I go about adding games to it? Can I upload NES and other retro stuff into it on my own to the hacked Wii (I recall Wii could run this stuff)?
So I think the files are in MOBJ file, but they're currently stuck behind a .DAT file that I don't know how to extract from. Any ideas? I would like the models and animations, if possible. I opened the .DAT in a hex editor, and that's what gave me the idea that the files are in MOBJ, but that's as far as I can get.
im using a generic usb (0079_0006) and i tried to map the "L/R analog" to l/r2 but just doesnt work
i searched in forums and i heard something about a "ZL=" but idk how it works
hello, im trying to mod my wii by installing another os (windows/linux) in a separate partition. ive already done some research and found only windows 95 and old linux distros, is there anything more recent?
For me yes, since the game doesn't weigh much
I'm having an annoying problem I can't find from searching online.
I have modded the switch and got usb loader installed.
Problem i have is that once i open usb loader my wiimote no longer moves the pointer. It's not turning off or desyncing. I can move it if I use a GC Controller attachment. A game will open but even in the game I can't get the pointer to move. Only games i can play are ones that allow me to move the pointer using the joystick or gc controller, if i need to do anything with moving the pointer using the wii remove I can't play.
I first tried with knockoff remotes but thought that was the problem so i bought refurbished ninentdo remotes without the wiimotion or whatever as i read that could also be a problem. But that didn't seem to correct the issue.
As the title suggests, Iβve got a very big Samsung tv. Surprisingly, with USBLoader settings in place and a hdmi converter, the image looks quite good! The problem is aiming - it tracks the cursor fine but the angle is just way off and makes any shooting game unplayable. I have game mode on TV on so itβs not input lag. I have OEM sensor bar underneath the TV.
I saw one guy modded his sensor bar to be split in two and wider apart which apparently helps, but thatβs a bit beyond me. Any tips? Thanks!
I know that some games like rom hacks and such might be too much for wii64 and Not64 but it seems to happen on this game specifically its Oot Rom hack "Sands of Time" everytime I try to open the chest containing the "Lens of truth" I'm greeted with this: [i tried every possible version of wii 64 from gln64 to rice and rice wiivc and still got the same result] if anyone would be able to tell me why this occurs I'll be very grateful for it. P.S. I do have both emulators on my wii
The thing that occurred after opening the chest.

Hello, is it possible to play Wii Japanese biohazard/Resident of Evil saves game file into a English version game. I have made a long progress to that game until the disc can't be read and won't let me continue play anymore even with the toothpaste technique. So, i modded the Wii console and thinking if its possible to play Japanese save file into a English game cause i don't want to play it over again :/ plus i prefer it in English, can't read Japanese lol
I bought an old jacks pacific light gun plug n play for real cheap, could I somehow implement a wiimote pcb into it?
I want to go through the process of modding my childhood Wii with an HDMI kit. I checked the inside of the battery compartment and found that my board appears to be an RVL-CPU-20. However, I noticed that most HDMI mod kits do not support this board, and it seems like the installation is more difficult. The only kit I can find that supports my Wii is the Arthrimus kit. Should I buy another Wii or stick with the one I have? Also, is there any difference in the image quality produced by different HDMI mod chips?
so, in terms of programming: when i hit reset on the application my vwii blackscreens or hit wii menu, it's not looping back to the vwii menu for me to relaunch homebrew and load gxloader. it just crashes.
im thinking i might need to redownload the gxloader components, marge it with existing and let it replace whatever is missing. i would like your guys' opinion on this considering im still new to this
I need to test out my message board , and Iβll need someone to do so..!! (Wiilink needed) My Wii number is 6669 5408 1028 4762
I have usbloader gx and Nintendont installed. Thanks in advance!!
Was looking into getting a replacement drive for my 2 layer Wii. I can't remember the rvl number (I remember layers because I was going to turn it into a GC micro) and it got me wondering... Are the replacement drives you find on Amazon capable of reading regular DVDs?
I've been playing Fire Red and wanted to get the mystery gifts. I've seen a tool (https://digiex.net/threads/mystery-event-tool-gc-wii-inject-pokemon-gen-3-wondercards-and-events.14865/) but despite saying distribution complete, I still don't receive the gift. Other people have said this works so I'm holding out hope but it was posted in 2016 so I don't have much hope of someone replying to my query on there. Do I need to go somewhere to claim the mystery gift? I have the menu option unlocked but it just tells me I don't have a wireless adaptor and sends me back to the main menu. I tried looking in the pokemart like in diamond and pearl to no avail. Please help as I would love to be able to add a dyoxsis to my gen 4 living dex
I'm trying to connect my wiimote to my device, but it requires a pin, which requires the MAC address. And I don't know where it is located on the remote. Can someone help?
I recently wanted to buy some GameCube games to play on my Wii, until I remembered that I have a Wii family edition. Does Nintendont allow disk booting on the Wii family edition or only the original Wii?
Is this feature done or can you still do it in 2024?
Just got on to my old Wii and when i got to the system menu it was just a black screen with the letters "4.3(EURO)". Any way on how to fix this? And if you're wondering, yes i do have priiloader and bootmii.
I'm new to Wii U mods, and currently my vWii's only hombrew apps are The Homebrew Channel and the Wiimfi disc patcher. I've been using my modded vWii to play Conduit 2 on Wiimfi. If there are different methods for vWii and Wii then I'd like to hear about both, because it may help other players in the Conduit 2 community with this info.
Conduit 2 was a bit of a rare case because back when the OG servers were up, the game would actually download update patches to your save. This functionality is not supported by Wiimfi unfortunately, so you have to choose between playing with other people who have the patch (by having a legacy save file or installing someone else's legacy save file) or only playing with players who have no patches.
I have a legacy save file from the original servers and currently use that to play with old friends and people who have downloaded patched save files. However, there are actually groups of newer players I would like to play with too. These players don't want to download a patched save because they feel it creates too much hassle for any new players they're trying to recruit.
So, all that to say: I'm looking for a way to have two different saves for the same game, and easily choose between which one I want to launch without having to rearrange files in folders every time. Is it possible to easily do something like this through SaveGame Manager GX or USB Loader GX?
Hi I just had a thought wondering if there is a better wii remote that functions the exact same like a normal wii mote same motherboard everything same functionality but has the build of a ps4 controller or a GameCube controller I got my wii back out and holding the wiimote does not feel as comfortable as I remember holding it as a kid I tried looking online couldn't find nothing or I'm just not looking in the right place any one know anything?
