Hi
I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 (LC49G95TSSUXEN) and I moved and had it standing around for a week or so. After reconnecting it would only show a black screen (backlight on) and sometimes I've seen the OSD colors for a second on the side of the screen. It looks like if the LCD is not working anymore. I opend the back and checked the cable connections and reconnected them. I also checked the fuses and didnt found any burned smell/parts. The LCD driver module under the LED ring module seems to hum a little but I didnt found anything else. Flatband connectors seem also ok from what I saw.
Any idea what could be wrong or what I could check?
Is COD 6 BO not widescreen ? I want it in 5120x1440
So I am currently playing the game in 21:9 on a 16:10 monitor (just feels more immersive) and whenever there is a cutscene it gets cropped on the sides making it so that the cutscene has black borders all around instead of using the entire screen with minor black borders on the top and bottom.. is there a fix for this?

I just got an ASUS TUF 34" monitoring (3440 x 1440) @ 165gz.
My understanding is that when you start up Flawless Widescreen, it should just work once you install the plugin for a game?
I'm running the OG 2011 version of Skyrim, and it simply won't work. My Steam games are saved to the D drive, so I tried changing to file path to there, and no dice.
Today I tried running it in compatibility mode and a bunch of other stuff since I'm on Windows 10, and this dang software just doesn't work at all.
Can't find much documentation on using it, and the YT videos I watched were just like "it should just work!"
So I'm sorta lost here. I did change the .ini file on Skyrim to 3440 x 1440 manually, but it had issues and was kinda jittery.
Feeling kind of dumb because everyone keeps saying it's simple to set up and use, yet it doesn't seem to work
The game doesn't natively support 21:9 (sigh). According to the PC Gaming Wiki this fix for another game also works on this one, and when using it the game zooms out to ultrawide for just a second before snapping back to 16:9, so I'm guessing its close but doesn't actually work. Anyone have a working solution?
EDIT: Nevermind, I was just dumb and put the files in the wrong Win64 folder. Extract the zip from this fix, browse to BrambleTMK_SUWSF\Bramble_TMK\Binaries\Win64, and copy the contents to \LifeIsStrangeDoubleExposure\Chronos\Binaries\Win64 and it works great.
Hi WSGF, I recently bought a Samsung ultra wide and heard of the tool flawless widescreen but I think I misunderstood its ability. I thought it could handle if you were running two monitors side by side and it would treat it like one. Such as this is not the case, I tried to look for eyefinity in my AMD rads on settings but it’s suddenly gone. I have the AMD 5500M 8gb and I’m pretty sure it worked in the past but now I can’t even launch the exe manually. So somethings buggered up. The reason I want to try and bridge the screens is that on the 2 input source mode I can get 120hz per half of the widescreen, but if I went with one full screen it would be 60hz.
Looking to see if any applications Mac or PC can achieve this. Thank you
What would be the already formatted Hex value?
I was thinking about getting one and I wanna know if this is the right choice
I’ve been watching reviews for what I think it is all the 49” oled high refresh rate monitors Because I really want a superwhide
And the evnia was the only one that no one really said anithing negative about it(that wasn’t a general think about superwhides) Like vertical space or you know what”to big”
My question is, for the ones that got a Philips evnia, are there any issues that I might be aware of ? Any inconveniences or stuff like that ? One complain I heard is that “it doesn’t feel premium” what does that mean ?
And do you know any other better recomandation “superwide oled high refresh rate” Considering that price isn’t an issue and the fact that I’m gonna use it for productivity mainly and gaming secondary
I got myself a 49” 32/9 monitor for productivity reasons and I use a Mac, but I also want to play some games occasionally, so on my Mac it’s kinda hard to run anything graphic intensive but I wanna be eable to play at the 32/9 aspect ratio to get a feel you know, what do you guys recomand, I play any kind of games I like them all so any suggestion is good as long as I can run it (is not graphic intensive) or(to graphic intensive)
I know this is an older game, and it does have widescreen cutscenes. However check the video below, you have to pause and go back because black bars appear. I originally posted it in nexusmods, but should have posted here to see if Rose had a small fix.
Hey gang. I have used 3 screens for over 15 years and never encountered the issues I see today. Even a 4090 cannot drive 3 screens at 240 hertz each. And most monitors that are oled and have hdr are also widescreen,
I wanted to take advantage of a dell promo to upgrade from my three 5 year old venerable ROG Asus 27 inch that serve 7168 x 1440 to my games.
The choices are Alienware 34 inch curved Oled AW3423DWF and the 32 inch Alienware QD-oled AE3225QF.
The 32 inch uses dsc compression to achieve 240 hertz and limits you thus to only 2 monitors, as it requires 2 heads per monitor. I ma be able to get around it by uisng 120 hertz hdmi cables. Not sure what I am losing by going hdmi and not dp. But this monitor has no menu option to disable dsc.
The 34 inch is 175 hertz and no dsc, so I am sure I can light up all three. But nvidia surround compatibility is unknown.
I have three of each coming this week to test in the name of science.
But even if I get nvidia surround working on them, will games support the higher resolutions? Just now I finally got all my gams working with 7168 x 1440. .
Another mystery is whether either setup will allow surround to run at a lower resolution than native. Like 7168 x 1440.
It is starting to feel that 3 monitors is not going to be soon doable. Not even the 5090 can do 3 screens at 240.
What you all think?
Needing help with getting the game to run properly. Using FWS and i can either get the resolution to work correctly or the HUD, but not both for some reason. Game isnt playable either because the HUD is stretched and wonky or because I cant get the resolution to fix itself. For info im playing on 5120x1440 for the res.
well I'm trying to decide between these two monitors, which is better? which one should I buy?
Hello, this game doesn't support ultra wide -- has the typical black bars on the side. Any help with fixing/patching this would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, I would like to request a fix for Silent Hill 2 (remake).
Hey there I was wondering if there are any solution to get Death Stranding on Mac to run at 32:9? Thanks!
Hi, I've been playing through the first four assassins creed games on my steamdeck, so far they have all had ultrawide patches posted by the official WSGF account (except Revelations, which only has a FOV fix: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1521-assassins-creed-revelations-fov-fix-for-ultrawide-and-multi-mon/ ), which have allowed for fullscreen on the steamdeck's 16:10 monitor.
It seems like you were able to create your own patch by changing the offset in the previous game (brotherhood); https://img.wsgf.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=33074&p=175841
I'm wondering if this might be possible for Revelations also? Just wondering if anyone might have any information or knowledge on this, or even a Discord group that could help.
EDIT; I opened the exe up in a hex editor, and found a promising instance of "00 02 D0" (which I think is the resolution width of 720) right next to "00 05 00" which I think is meant to be 1280.

I blindly replaced it with "00 03 20", unsurprisingly this didn't work.
EDIT: After some further testing looks like this patch is only for 16:9. When I install it on my steamdeck, and connect to my 5120x1440 monitor, it works perfectly at removing the black bars.

I had played a bit of the game before the patch but after hearing ultrawide was coming soon I opted to wait the couple weeks or so. 3440x1440 21:9 working great for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZifE5y5htX4
Somebody in a discussion about the new PS5 Pro mentions that he loves PS5 gaming because the PS5 can render graphics in ultrawide resolutions.
Is this actually true or is it just being stretched? I thought none of the consoles could do any resolution post 16:9.
Hello,
I recently built a new pc, and was trying to install Code Vein and Ultrawide support fixes but i lost the files from my old rig (probably deleted them years back who knows) and when i try to go to this Link i get an error
This error has been there for a few days now (well 2, but yeah) and i was wondering if anyone here had a mirror link or somthing to the code vein Gamepass fix? thanks in advance
Im learning but, Still a relative beginner when it comes to computers, I have a Samsung G9 Oddessy, (RTX 3060) and im having trouble changing the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 32:9 I believe this games not compatible with ultra wide screen, so that makes it more difficult, but I've seen it before. Hex editing isn't working either, any help would be much appreciated.
