Removing inactive mods - Bringing in new moderator team

Hello everyone!

There are some important updates to let you all know about. As many of you have noticed, the moderation team at r/wholesomegreentext has been widely inactive for years. Much of the moderation has been left up to auto-mod, with few on the mod team even still being active on Reddit.

https://preview.redd.it/9874cv7ckyid1.png?width=235&format=png&auto=webp&s=76b420f2dd7ac4c26c45f600a3b9442e6094147a

Starting today, we are working with the r/greentext community in order to bring their moderators over to be members on our team. With this transition, we're hoping to help renew the activity in the sub and crack down on many of the re-post bots, as well as keep the content more on-brand.

I appreciate the work put into the subreddit by all of the previous mods, and their hard work in bringing more members into our community. We absolutely need to bring some individuals in who are more interested in the content we have here, and are more active in our community.

We will continue to retain the same core values of wholesomeness, kindness, and acceptance that have been the case with the previous moderation team, although moderation in this department has been extremely lacking.

Thank you for your continued support, and we're hoping for a smooth and positive transition.
