Hi all, Has anyone ever experimented with MB and a small microdose of psilocybin? I’m wondering if these two counteract. I’m starting MB in my regime, going low and slow as recommended, and I feel I’m noticing some positive effects.
Occasionally I enjoy taking the odd microdose of psilocybin for meditation. So I’m wondering if I should cut out MB on those days.
Also I'm assuming if I were to do a full macrodose, i should likely cut out MB for several days/week... has anyone had experience with this or instruction on this?
Life's happening at top speed, isn't it. Hope everyone is ok or at least eeked out a silver lining out of a shit storm. How are you? No, really, how are you? Sit down, stay a while, share a story.
Apparently, it's still Tuesday. Go figure.
How was everyone's weekend?
How is everyone doing in general?
Have anything you want to talk about in particular?

Celebrate your accomplishments?
This is the post for you!
The Last alcoholic beverage I had and the Last nicotine product was Octobr 26, 1992. I have never wanted to start either again. I did it "cold turkey". I'm bragging with that last sentence because I know it's hard to do.
Happy weekend, ya'll!
Now that the work week grind is over, how was your week?
Do you have anything pressing or fun going on this weekend?
Have anything you're doing for your mental or physical health this weekend?
How will you kick back and focus on some self-care?
Let's hear about it!
Happy Friday, wellness peeps!
What's everyone's weekend looking like?
What's on the agenda for fitness goals and activities?
Trying anything new, doing something exciting, or just enjoying a day off?
Well- at 45yo and due to the struggles we’ve been having the last couple years with our middle kid’s ADHD- I went and got screened. Guess who he inherited it from! 🙋♂️
Now going through the process of finding myself a psychiatrist who will help me with meds management for that- it’s a whole ordeal. And when the main issue is “good god, can’t seem to get anything done” that means I’ll look forward to finally being “normal” sometime in 2027 or so.
So- I guess don’t forget to keep pushing for help with the ol brain when it seems like something is wrong. I’ve managed “well enough” for years, obviously, but I guess it’s good to know at least what’s up. Fun, right? Fun.
What’s something you wish you did or are currently doing to live a physically comfortable life?
Example: physiotherapy, red lights therapy, chiro, daily mobility work…

I am currently 35, and have made several changes, each of which involve a certain time horizon for noticable results. The first, was to invest my time into my own health and wellness, to improve my overall health by eating better and to exercise consistently and regularly, particularly cardio, jogging, with a focus on controlling my breathing rhythmically to each foot step, breathing in-2-3-4 and out-2-3-4, learned that from my time in the army so I wanted to share it with you all, btw the "In" always starts on the left step, so does the "out". I use my nose for intake and mouth for exhales. If I get winded towards the finish line I increase flow, to every three steps, in-2-3 out-2-3 but just to get me a little further, pausing to walk is also ok in the early days. Stamina will build quickly. Lost 10 pounds quickly within a few weeks (stubborn belly fat and lobe handles). I also began to invest intelligently, not in any way similar to gambling as before. I just buy ETFs that track the S&P500, like VOO, SPY, IVV, or SPLG which is my favorite thanks to lowest fees. Companies 401k plan, that's 4% weekly of salary plus another 2% employer match, plus I've started a Roth IRA which I do about 2% weekly and another roughly 4% goes into an individual personal account, which means I will get capital gains taxes on that one but it's for emergencies or future plans like a house down payment. I love being forward thinking, now is the time to plant seeds, and provide them with an environment conducive for growth. The rest is natural, let the rains fall, the winds alternate with the seasons, and above all, let the sun shine down 🌞 May your cup runneth over my friends!
It's late in the evening, but I remembered! How has your week gone? Workouts going smoothly? How's that book you were reading? Find a new recipe you liked? Share it all, we wanna hear about it!
I caught a cold on Saturday evening, took 2 vitamin C and Zinc pills one am one pm and continued the regimen until today. My cold is almost done just lingering symptoms. Definitely the quickest I've been able to get over a cold. I highly recommend taking vitamin c and zinc supplements if you have the cold. No COVID I took a test. Feeling better 💘

It's been a busy day but I find myself with a few minutes of reflection.
Question/comment/concern? Despite all the awesome that has happened, my love tank is pretty low. But it's ok because our of all in my family I'm in the best shape, so I'll continue to be the rock for everyone.
As always: breathe deep, seek peace.
It start to trigger acid reflux 😔
Hey everybody, how are you? No really, how are you? I'm pretty good. I got the contract I was hoping for and I'm no slated to be working locally, 40hrs a week for the next 6 months. This is pretty cool. I start tomorrow. I will be able to get into a workout routine, be super dad and husband, and still make a pension. I'm stoked. I hope everyone has heard some good news this week.
I am easily disturb by noise and it keeps bothering my sleep at night. Any tips? Thank you

Hey everyone!
I recently stumbled upon this upcoming retreat in the Colombian jungle, and it looks really interesting! They focus on wellness and yoga, but what caught my attention is that they’re incorporating psilocybin therapy into the experience. The villas look so cool and the location seems amazing for stargazing, looks very fun.
I’m curious about the whole retreat scene. Has anyone here experienced a retreat like this? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Good evening everyone, it's been a good week here at the Wakes house. Here are three things in thankful for.
What're your Thankfuls? Have a wonderful night.
Hey, WO30 friends! I hope that you've had a good week since our last check-in and I want to hear all about it! How'd the week go? Are you enjoying your workouts or slogging through? Do you have something exciting coming up (looking at you, PJ) that you want to freak out about?
Come chat for a few minutes!
Hey everyone! I’ve really gotten into cold therapy over the past couple of years, especially as a way to manage stress and keep my spirits up. Starting with just cold showers and gradually moving up to more structured cold plunges, I've found that the shock of the cold not only revitalizes my body but seriously boosts my mood.
It helps hit a reset button—I feel more clear-headed and calm after every session. I guess its the rush of cold that seems to mute my anxiety and lighten any heaviness I'm carrying.
I'm curious, has anyone else experienced this? How has cold therapy impacted your mental health?
