Thanks for allí the help from here!
after quite a bit of trial and error i finally got it running with the newest patch. here is a quick guide:
download the armory tool release 1.0 at github.com/pvutov
check the file for potential security risks at virustotal.com (this is optional, but you really should do this with random files from the internet)
unpack the .zip into a new folder and open the folder
delete the file updater.exe. if there is a settings.ini file or a local_copies folder, delete them as well.
open the editor (start menu -> editor) and create a file with the following content

if your wargame folder is anywhere else, adjust the paths so that it points to the location of your wargame folder.
save this file as settings.ini in the armory tool folder.
now run armory.exe. if windows prevents it from running because it's not signed, click on "more info" in the text box and then the button "run anyway" will appear.
I made a Baltic deck for 10v10 tactical team games. What would you change in this deck? Do you have any tips on playing Baltic? Thanks.
It would make Dutch German Moto a very fun, but still not overpowered deck. As it is, having nothing between Korps Mariniers/Fallschirmäger and Jäger (bleh) makes the deck shoddy. I can't think of any lore reason why they shouldn't be motorised: they have the YP-408 transport, after all.
I would like to know if there is a counter for a good Helorusher. 2 times I was helorushed by the same guy, but his combo is so fucking OP, that even with 800 points in Gepards and planes I didn't stop it. I think that only a very good AA coalition could stop it.
It had one Ka-52, one Akula, one Mi-24P, one airbone infantry CV and the rest in light infantry (with ATGMs) or cheap stingers in the the Soviet 35pts transport helicopter. (+YAK)
Man, that combo is so OP. Even knowing he would helorush, I could not stop it, at least not with DGC.
Next month is going to be a great month for wargamers, we're getting Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, Broken Arrow beta, and WARNO is getting the NORTHAG DLC. Which game are you guys most excited for? Personally, I'm pretty hyped for Broken Arrow since the last beta was a year ago.
for a few seconds it was impossible to hit it, later it backs to normal
I reset my account recently and can no longer see 80% of the servers I could see before. Is this because servers won't show for accounts with a small number of games, or have servers defunded and are no longer available?
Like what coalitions, nations, specs? Which countries changed the most since the Italy dlc?
My favorite IFV is not surprising- BTR 90. Fast, agile, can cross water. Medium optics, decent armor, deadly armaments.
What is your favorite IFV?
I was wondering how to best obtain the BTR-90s and so I consulted the revered Bing chat aka Copilot. Here's what it said:
In Wargame: Red Dragon, the BTR-90 is a versatile and powerful infantry fighting vehicle. To obtain it at the lowest cost, you should focus on the following strategies:
- Campaign Missions: Play through the campaign missions where the BTR-90 is available. Completing these missions can unlock the vehicle without spending additional points.
- Multiplayer Decks: Build a multiplayer deck that includes the BTR-90. Ensure you balance your deck to maximize the effectiveness of your points.
- Economical Deck Building: When constructing your deck, prioritize cost-effective units and avoid overspending on other high-cost units. This allows you to allocate more points towards acquiring the BTR-90.
By focusing on these strategies, you can efficiently obtain the BTR-90 without overspending your resources
Truly insightful. I approached it a second time, now inquiring how to best helorush:
Helorushing in Wargame: Red Dragon can be a highly effective but risky strategy. Here are some key tips to execute a successful helorush:
- Choose the Right Helicopters: Opt for fast and well-armed helicopters. Units like the Mi-24 Hind or AH-64 Apache are excellent choices due to their speed and firepower.
- Early Deployment: Deploy your helicopters as early as possible to catch your opponent off guard. Speed is crucial in a helorush.
- Target Key Units: Focus on taking out enemy anti-air units first. This will reduce the threat to your helicopters and allow them to operate more freely.
- Use Smoke and Terrain: Utilize smoke screens and terrain to your advantage. This can help protect your helicopters from enemy fire and improve their survivability.
- Support Units: Include support units like recon helicopters to spot enemy units and provide intelligence. This will help you make informed decisions during the rush.
- Micro-Management: Constantly manage your helicopters to avoid enemy fire and maximize their effectiveness. Keep them moving and adjust their positions as needed.
- Backup Plan: Always have a backup plan in case the helorush fails. Ensure you have ground units ready to follow up and support your attack.

Do you have a favorite helicopter unit you like to use in your helorushes?
Amazing.
Im going to be playing RuKor anyway in my ranked!!!
I haven't played the game for the last 2 years. Considering the WARNO launch, is the online community still active after all? I don't have unlimited internet right now, so don't wanna waste it.
