Here is the place to post wallpaper albums that are specifically crafted to fit a certain theme and a constant aspect ratio. The posts here are highly curated to fit the rules, and we focus on quality rather than quantity.

Make a journey out of your wallpaper rotation!

 

Rules:

  1. Resolution must be added to the title (like "[1920x1080]")

  2. Aspect ratio has to remain consistent while the resolution must be greater or equal than what was specified in the title.

  3. All images must fit a specific theme (nothing unsorted/random)

  4. Theme must be visible from the title of the submission

  5. Links must point to a wallpaper pack (like an imgur album link)

  6. Images must be in HD quality (over 1920x1080 or 1920x1200)

  7. NSFW submissions are permitted, but if at least one of the wallpapers is NSFW, the entire album must be flagged as such

 

How to download an entire imgur pack:

If the link is imgur, follow these steps

  • Open imgur album link

  • Select the URL address bar

  • Add "/zip" at the end

  • Click enter and save the archive

  • Unzip it using something like WinRar

 

How to search by tags:

Just click on a tag from any post, or add flair:1920x1080 for example to this subreddit search box.

The supported tags we have:

  • 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio)

  • 1920x1080+ (16:9 aspect ratio, but with a higher resolution)

  • 1920x1200 (16:10 aspect ratio)

  • 1920x1200+ (16:10 aspect ratio, but with a higher resolution)

  • Mobile (for mobile users, aspect ratio may vary)

  • Ultra-Wide (21:9 wallpapers, for widescreens)

  • Request (For people requesting wall packs to be created)

maybe 'best' covers, there's a lot of junk of course

like early conan art, for example, vs. later versions (still good, but too 'modern')

or early asimov i,robot art, etc.

(lot's of spam posts with links to bad or boring photos with watermarks, etc.)

Windows Wallpaper Archive

I remember this archive about a decade ago of every official Microsoft-made Windows wallpaper from 3 up to I believe either Vista or 7 (even ones from promotional events and countries outside the U.S.) named something like microsoft.rar, it also had a Mac OS 10 equivalent... does anyone have it?

[Request] Star Wars screencaps pack

A couple of years ago I found a pack of Star Wars wallpapers that were random screencaps from the first seven movies. I've recently had to disconnect that hard drive, and I cannot find the pack again. Does anyone know the one, or a similar pack?

(Request) Groups of wallpapers with the same design, only different colour schemes.

On windows if you set your wallpaper to be a group of photos that all look the same but with different colours then it looks really cool when they switch between them. idk i was just wondering if anyone had some sets like that that they could send my way cheers

[Request] Crystals and precious stones

I am really impressed with the quality of the sets in here. I searched, but did not find any posts that collect wallpapers of crystals. Jewel tones, well defined single crystals or crystal clusters, and intense or at least creative lighting are the kinds of things that I am thinking of. TIA!
