so i have the unofficial patch (i downloaded because of this quest it was too buggy) but i can’t find the computer to skip it. i’ve looked all around and it’s nowhere.

when i try to go back and restart the fight with andrei and all that when i win i can’t go to the sewers.

honestly i don’t know what more buggy right now the game alone or the patch. i don’t know if i did something wrong or anything

About to start my first playthrough, as I love F:NV and heard great things about this game, except that it is severely outdated. Are there any good mods that enhance the game play/visuals ?

I wanna add a malkavian skin mod to my clan quest mod game so the file into the CQM file and it doesn't work. I don't usally use PCs so I have no idea how file stuff works. Plz help :p

I'm not going to lie, the tutorial and dialogue fonts (excluding the skill-based options and the Malkavian font) are so bland and ugly as sin. Not fitting for a game of Bloodlines' caliber. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change the dialogue font style to, say, Goudy (which I think is the font used for the main body text in the revised corebook), or any other font which may be more fitting for the setting.

I had no problem with mine on my PC but same discs used and Gf tried to install Final and kept getting missing/not found errors "scripts/game sounds manifest not found " It wasn't saved on one drive at all either and no searching for the files could find it as it was all installed on the same file folder. HELP!

Just tried running CQM on my Arch Linux install, and got all the bugs (no hands, no wallet, no disciplines, can't leave mercurio's or the pawn shop) - yet I did the exact same process on my Windows PC and it's working perfectly fine.

I noticed that the default exe is called "vampire.exe" but the CQM uses "Vampire.exe", so I'm guessing there must be some case sensitive file issues going on (as Linux distinguishes between files with the same name in different cases while Windows does not). Gonna investigate further, but I figured I'd see if anyone else has already gotten past this issue first...

I just heard about this game for the first time, I don't even know how I never played it before, since I love RPG games and even played fallout 1/2 and daggerfall...

Well, the thing is, I downloaded a pirated version first, to test the stuff and I absolutely loved it, then I bought it on steam, since I thought it was awesome, I love vampires and rpg genre, this will be like one of my fav games.

However, I learned fast, that basically the base game is bad because of bugs and other stuff, the version I pirated already included all fixes, translations, some mods even a reshade, but now that I visited NEXUS, I see there are a lot of graphical mods, upscaled textures, a better reshade, new textures for the player model (which kinda turns me off, because the original male ventrue kinda looks bad ngl, i can't immerse myself into being a high-society guy, while looking like someone who was just laying besides a garbage can).

I wanted to ask you, is there any guide that I can follow that will help me install everything I need?
I mean new quests, new textures, replace the main character model etc...

(funny that the mod that replaces and upscales the npcs on the Nexus, looks worse than the original game :x)

Thinking in doing another play-trough with some mods, like Clan Quest Mod, and wanted to know what is harder.. melee or ranged? want to challenge myself!

I just got the game for my birthday after wanting it for a while, and am unsure which clan to play. I am mostly deciding between Malkavian, Tremere, and Toreador, in no particular order.

Really wishing I had that rifle and extra point in ranged right now.

We're just better than the other clans. The others lack the ability to lead or think. They need a Ventrue to lead the way. Without a Ventrue in control it just leads to chaos.

i looked on the wiki and it says to talk to the ghoul paul but i already did all of that but BEFORE i got the quest.. so hannah, paul, answering machine won’t spawn and i tried skipping ahead to empire arms hotel but nothing will work there

So Im on the SPOILERS SPOILERS!! mission where you gotta save the funny archaeologist from the vampire hunters, and I cant walk five feet with being made into a nice meaty goo. Ive put 3 points into firearms and 3 points into melee and Im starting to think this was bad, any tips for me going forward? Im Tremere and put a lot of points into blood magic as well.

In the tutorial, trying to type to open the safe. The computer recognizes ctrl-c and enter, but I can't type letters to navigate the menus to open the safe. Using the unofficial patch. Tried restarting, no luck. At a loss and really wanted to give this game a try.

Any advice?
