The World of Darkness, a place where immortal monsters pull the strings of humanity. Violence and despair are common here. The world is bleak, but escape is an ever-present commodity - perhaps too present...

Even with unofficial patch
The Deadly Request quest by Mira in the LA by Night mod
In accordance with a new law, games that have not received an age rating cannot be advertised/sold in Germany on Steam any more, - unfortunately, even though VTMB has had its age rating (USK 16) since its original release, I guess the Steam page was too old and noone has bothered to enter that information. Trying to get to the Steam page for VTMB, the forums etc. only results in a "This item is currently unavailable in your region" message.
It there any way to contact Steam and let them know that there has been a mistake?
Edit: So I contacted the Steam and the support straight up told me to buy a key from a third party reseller as those keys can still be activated on Steam in Germany... Not an ideal solution I'd say, - especially seeing as the game already has a bloody age rating in Germany and thus should not be blocked in the first place.
Did bloodlines 1 have difficulty setting? or no
In some menu?
I've completed the pestilence story line and the gargoyle mission without turning in Struass only to learn you needed to have gotten the pestilence mission from him in the first place to join max. That was like 5 hours of playtime ago and I don't have a save is it possible to use a console command to join him or should I just give up on max's Camarilla ending?
Does anyone know how to beat the Ocean House Hotel level without getting scared? I know someone who wants to play vtmb again but is scared to death of that Hotel. Does anyone know how to beat it with cheats or something?
Subtle Female Malkavian mod, Decided to change outfits during the cutscene and got an interesting glitch
Seems like it's moved from the arcade?
My ghoul trapped a guy in the bathroom, which I can't enter.
Can I just forget the poor guy, or will that prevent the progression of other quests?
Is it possible to unstick the door? Next time must remember to get the trapped-in bathroom quest over before moving.
You might need to use this command in the sewers after releasing the emergency valve:
First, open the console with "º" or "tilde" key and enter the following command: bind "p" noclip. This will allow you to circumvent this issue. As you are to reach thr bottom of the sewer is it very likely that you won't be "swallowed" by it: you should then use noclip to reach the bottom, then use noclip again to trigger a brief cutscene.
Note: if your screen freezes or the console doesn't close, type pause and escape to manually resume the game and close the console.
UPDATE:
Pre-Hospital Boss Encounter: [adressed by Wesp5, it's not broken, you need to find a lever to escape the sewers]
Hospital Elevator: [adressed by Wesp5, it's not broken, you'll find a riddle in the computer emails near the elevator]
And I don't mean just that it's a crap heap, it doesn't have curtains or a bathroom door for sunlight during the day!.
I’ve always gone down the diplomatic/stealth route, but obviously there is a fun fight with Bruno which you’d otherwise miss.
Does killing Bruno and his men, basically a massacre in a Giovanni stronghold, change anything later in the game? You’d think it would be a major diplomatic incident between the Giovanni and whichever faction you’re nominally a part of, but it is quite late in the game and there are bigger concerns.
As we all know, even if vampires cut their hair, their hair returns to the way it was before the embrace. This is why I believe that the cab driver is NOT Cain. Imagine Cain in 39000 BC with a low tapper fade or something similar 💀💀💀

I will say that the quality of this mod is on par with what Troika would do back in the day if they were allowed to make a DLC for VTMB. We are blessed that after 20 years of original release, Bloodlines Prelude Team is working on something of this quality. I honestly wish once Part III is finished and whole Prelude (I. II and III) is playable, this whole pack could be officially put on Steam/GOG and creators of this mod could earn some money for the amount of time they spent on this (although I presume it's legally not possible). Maybe creators of this mod will find other way for us to say "thank you".
I want this post to be spoiler-free so all I will say about the story is that the angle they took with it really sits well with what we will experience in OG Bloodlines. For those who know the main story of OG, the dialogues, hints and some surprises in Prelude II will be a chef's kiss. Dialogues and emails are well done and they keep a high quality level that we all love. On top of that some new character models were refreshing to see and felt unique.
Quests are multilayered and keep you guessing what will happen next. New levels (just like in Prelude I), new hub, new haven, all of that really felt like DLC content. You can tell a lot of time was spent to craft these and they were done with love. While it's still early access one can wish that Part II will have even more quests since the setting, new hub with our little haven is peak VTMB atmosphere. With our beloved Rik Schaffer's music playing in the background this mod is a must for anyone that loves VTMB.

Is there a meaning to weapon requirements or does weapon requirement only add extra confusion? Can someone explain? It looks to me that increasing weapon feats (melee, ranged) increases damage at a constant rate irrespective of the weapon requirement.
From the faq (should be in documents folder) the formula for damage
Damage Potential = Base Damage X (Lethality + Feat Adjustment)
Where feat adjustment is
> Feat Adjustment = melee, ranged feat score - weapon requirement.
So
> Damage Potential = Base Damage X (Lethality + melee or ranged feat score- weapon requirement)
You have two weapon-dependant terms, lethality and weapon requirements that can be merged into one.
> Leathality2 = lethality - weapon requirement
> Damage Potential = Base Damage X (Lethality2 + melee or ranged feat score)
So lethality - weapon requirement is the true measure of how lethal the weapon is. Each term on its own does not tell you much.
So why does the weapon requirement exist? There is one line in the faq that is suggestive
It's important to realize that a player is only deadly effective once his combat Feat is above the requirement of the weapon.
Does this mean anything specific or is it just woffle?
Edit: I am using GOG so UP11.1
Am i the only one, who thinks this game is needed to be a GTA type of game? I hope someday it's become an open world game, or someone make it on dat style.
