What would be considered the “big” football game/rivalry for UMD in football or which game(s) would be the best to attend this year?
Hello I am going for Ms in Usa Fall 2022 session, I've been admitted to University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) for the Information Technology Management course (ITM) and University of Maryland College park for Ms in Information systems (MIS).
I am confused which university should I choose, please let me know your thoughts.
The cost is about same for the courses, but living expenses in Maryland would be higher.
Also wanted to know about the job opportunities in Dallas vs Maryland
Hello! I am a dental hygiene student in Landover, Maryland and my colleagues and I are in need of patients to graduate our program.
This is a great opportunity for individuals that don’t have insurance. It is also a great deal if you have insurance because some necessary treatment recommended by your dentist can be out of pocket and costly such as scaling and root planning (deep cleaning). Let me help you save some money and still receive excellent care!
The $40 fee includes: Oral cancer screening, Risk assessments, Comprehensive exam, X-rays, Dental hygiene cleaning, Sealants (on eligible teeth), Fluoride treatment.
We also see children and veterans for $20
*This is a learning institution so appointment times are 3hrs each and depending on treatment, may take up to 3 visits to complete. The fee will cover all visits as long as appointments are kept and treatment is completed.

Anyone know who to email to request that the application fee be waived? I've been told they're pretty generous about waiving the fee and they don't just waive it if you got the LSAT fee waived.
working out alone blows, so join me and have it suck a little less
I typically go m-f a little before noon - 1ish
Hi! I will be starting medical school at UMB this August! I am nearing the end of my search, and it looks like I'm pretty committed to the Mount Vernon area.
After speaking with a few current MS1 students, several of them really liked Mount Vernon, but others advised against it at least for MS1. They said ideally you would want to live as close as possible to campus because MS1 will be at the school a lot. Also, they told me the bus/shuttle service was not too reliable.
I really love the neighborhood of Mount Vernon, and I found a really sweet place to live for a great price. I wanted to get input from others before committing to the place. If you're a med student, do you also advise against living too far away from campus?
I will be starting school in the beginning of June and I would like to get some recommendations on places to live around campus. I prefer to stay in a place that is fairly safe (if that's even possible) and affordable. I've never really had a chance to explore Baltimore but I see people mention Ridgelys Delight, Federal Hill, Upper Fell and Mount Vernon and want to know why those places are popular.
Any word on weather UMB will be having classes tomorrow?
