Does anyone here offer an apartment cleaning service or know of anyone that does? It's a pretty standard 2 bed apartment.

Since this year Halloween is Th. and right after is Dad's weekend. Are people celebrating on the day of? The weekend before? With all your dads...? And are any restaurants doing anything fun?

I'm an international student interested in UIUC's chemical engineering, however my university agent says that it would be easier for me to apply for chemistry and then change my major to petroleum engineering. I have 3.62 unweighted gpa, 3.80 weighted, 1440 sat, and I'm taking another one in november. I got 5s in AP calc ab and AP micro, 4s in AP Chem and AP ES. My ECs are OKAYish but I do lack competitions related to chemistry.

I was just notified that my apartment would have a showing next week. I had an idea to put up a big poster that says “DONT LEASE WITH SMILE STUDENT LIVING” to hopefully denture future visits. Am I allowed to do this?

The ACM room is closed until further notice due to a potential bio-hazard. A persistent odor of urine along an empty bottle of wolf urine was found upon unlocking the room today, leading us to believe that urine may have been intentionally dispensed on to the carpet.

We are investigating this incident, and taking steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future, including setting up a webcam. The ACM room is for all of you - please treat it like you would treat your own room.

About ten days ago I parked my bike outside the Chem Annex or so I thought and went to lab. When I came out of lab the bike was not there and so I thought it got impounded since I chained it to a tree with a kryptonite chain lock. Upon hearing that no bikes were impounded this semester I thought it somehow got stolen.

Then three days ago, I’m walking past the Union and see it chained to one of the bike racks with the same kryptonite lock. The phone holder, flashlight, and bike pouch were intact. I was really puzzled, but my bike key worked so I took the bike and chalked it up to absent mindedness. I had no recollection of chaining it there but I figured I just forgot.

Then yesterday I take my bike to ECEB and attend discussion and after that bike back to LAR and chain it to one of the bike racks outside. I go into my dorm for about an hr and half to finish some work. When I come outside, the bike is not there. For some reason the trash can that was next to the bike rack I chained my bike to was also not there. Now I’m really confused as I was sure I biked back to LAR and have no idea where it could have gone in just 1.5 hrs that too during the day.

Am I just becoming schizophrenic? Did I somehow manage to forgot where I parked the first time and then got really unlucky and got it stolen a second time???
