Hello! I’m an international student applying for a Master’s in EUR and I’m a bit confused in relation to some of the documents that I have to provide.
My scores are:
34/45 31/42
Do any other factors actually matter? I have a high SAT Score - 1550
My highschool GPA was morbidly low - around 3.0/4 in the American system
Hello, for IBEB students, What grade cards should be uploaded on OSIRIS?
there are max 3 slots for documents, 1 will most likely be my CV. Should I just send my predicted grades?
Mind , I’m an IB student
I am from Ireland and have a GPA of 83 and have all the course requirements. I am working on my motivation and feel it is going well. I was wondering what my chances of acceptance are and what kind of places or ranking were students offered with similar GPA. ( Note the Irish leaving cert is transferred to points in which some subjects are weighted. My penultimate year grades translated to points correlates with the top 12.5% nationally).
Hi! I'm appplying for IBA and I found this in school's page. They said that if my English grade is sufficient but too low, I'll be in Tier 2. I'm applying with 6.5 IELTS, which is the bare minimum requirement, does it mean my English is sufficient but too low? Is it necessary for me to retake IELTS?
I will be enrolling to IBA this year and my GPA is 4.5. I am a bit worried that it is too low. What were your GPAs and which spot did you secure? Also, do you get to know how exactly they grade you after you get the results ( how many points For motivation and how many For GPA)
Hey everyone,
I recently received an invoice from The Student Doctors in The Hague for €97.81, covering two consultations (one under 5 minutes and one for 20+ minutes). I’m wondering if this is the typical price for GP visits in the city, or if it seems a bit high? I am an international student and I'm panicking a lot about how expensive this seems to be.
I have Expat & Co Insurance through my Erasmus program, and I’m not sure how to go about claiming this invoice. Does anyone know the process for:
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Hey guys, I have already graduated and I am applying to IBA for the next academic year and I was wondering what IB grades will get me in the top 750?
Hey, I am struggling to decide which of these 2 programs is better as I plan to do a MiM after and then pursue a career in strategic consulting. Any idea?
Hi. I’m applying for undergraduate course IBEB. I read on school’s page that they will assess based on my grades + OMPT-A + Motivation. My results so far are: Grade 10: 9.5 - Maths: 9.3 Grade 11: 9.7 - Maths: 9.5 OMPT-A: 96%
However, in the grade 12, I’ve been focusing more on preparing for standardized test and motivation for application rather than schoolwork, thus I’m afraid that my grade will not as high as the previous year.
Will the low score in grade 12 can significantly affect my application outcome? Do my current grades and my OMPT-A score indicate that I have big chance for being accepted in this program?
Hi everyone. I’m applying for IBA and school page says that the final result will be out on April 15, after Ranking process. However, I read somewhere that distinguishing applicants will receive an e-mail to guarantee a spot in the programme before the ranking released. Is it true, or everyone can only know the result on April 15, with no exception?

Hi. I'm applying for both IBA and IBEB. I've thought that IBA would be more difficult as it is a numerous-fixus programme. However, I read on the school page that IBA admits 750 students while only approximately 400 students start in the IBEB programme each year. Does that mean IBEB is more competitive? Or just because of fewer applicants compared to IBA? Additionally, I've got 96 for my OMPT-A, but I'm not confident about my motivation. Does the motivation play an important role? Can I get in if my OMPT is good but my motivation doesn't seem impressive?
Hey im deciding to apply for the bachelors course international Econometrics and operations research, and am a bit scared by the fact that only 99 students are admitted to the course. Applying as IB student whats the chances i get in?
Hello, I want apply for Strategy Economics, and for another program, Economics of Markets and Organisations in Erasmus University Rotterdam. I want to ask for a recommendation in terms of how should I apply. I know that you can apply to 2 different programs in each university in the Netherlands, but I am also aware that EUR gives you choice (if you are eligible) to go for a different degree if you were not enrolled in one or even pre-masters.
So if I would only apply for Strategy Economics, will I by offered a place in Economics of Markets and Organisations if something goes wrong with my application for Strategy Economics?
Or is it better to apply for both degrees via studielink?
What are your thoughts about it?
I'm visiting with my father on Nov 1st, I couldn't make the open day. I'm hoping to just look around and get a feel for the campus as I will be applying.
Is it OK to walk around? Will it possible to go into some buildings to see them ?
Just eant to get a sense of the place and the city of rotterdam.
Any recommendations to make sure a potential IBA student the right things ?
Thanks
Hey! For my MSc thesis in Behavioural Economics at ESE, I'm collecting data on fairness preferences. It's a quick questionnaire in which you'll make redistribution choices under varying conditions.
Every answer is greatly appreciated and feedback welcome.

Hello,
I am a 4th year student from Turkey that wants to apply to Rotterdam university after this year for my masters. I would like to pursue Economics or econometrics but i am concerned because my gpa is not that great (3.0 right now). I am doing a double major in Industrial Engineering and Economics. I get lower marks from courses from engineering program, B's and C's. However i got an A from all of the classes i took for my econ program, accounting, finance, micro 1-2 macro 1-2 and some electives. I've also worked as a data scientist part time after my first year and that also lowers my grades quite a bit. My university is not that well credentialed compared to Erasmus university, although it's top 1 or 2 in my country. I was wondering if my hopes of studying here is realistic. Do all students have gpa's higher than 3.0? Does my work experience in data science help my admission in an econometrics program? I don't expect a direct response to my questions but any thoughts from here will be very insightful to me. I am sorry if this type of question is very vague and inappropriate for this subreddit.
Edit: i got c's for my math classes because my calculus is not great and i took the ones in my engineering program (harder curve, at least in my school). I also suspect this is not ideal applying for a master in economics or econometrics.
I work in a dutch bank so the name will be familiar than rather than. a random company in turkey
As I plan to apply for this program I would need the help of someone to answer all my questions ( there are a lot) 😅 Thanks you :)
Hello, everybody!
It would be awsome if you could share your experiences about this bachelor's degree.
(e.g., Is it really competitive to get into as an non-EU? What are the job prospects?)
I didn’t really understand how admission works for IB students. Do we get accepted just via the predicted grades or do we also have to confirm them at the end of year exams to be admitted ?
Hi everyone!
I’ve been accepted into the Erasmus Mundus joint master's program, and my orientation at the ISS in The Hague is from 2nd to 6th September. Unfortunately, my last working day at my current job is also on the 6th, and they aren't flexible about it.
Does anyone know the absolute last date I can enroll at ISS? Is it okay if I miss part of the orientation? Any advice or information would be really helpful!
Thanks in advance!
As the title says, I'd like to know if somebody has any experience/knowledge regarding the difficulty of the computer science minor within the economics department.
I am coming to Rotterdam next semester for an exchange semester and took the computer science minor for block one.
I am not a beginner in computer science but I would like to know if the minor is as difficult as I've heard from the coordinators.
I'd appreciate any tipps/answers!
Hihi I'm a (possible) incoming IBEB student at ESE and was curious if anyone who's already taking the programme/has knowledge of the programme can explain whether or not modules taken at RSM are part of the IBEB syllabus and/or if you can take them as electives or minors. Just curious since RSM seems to have a strong international reputation and it might be beneficial to get a few lectures from there.
Thank you so much in advance for the help :)

I am an upcoming IBEB year 1 student and I heard from others that there are different class times in which you have to sign up for the timeslot that best suits you. Is this true that we have to sign up for these time slots? Thanks
Hello, I got my final IB results and got a 4 in math aa sl with only 4 marks off a 5 other than that I met all the conditions for the IBEB program. I was wondering how lenient they are as I only missed the conditional by a few marks and if I still have a chance of going to Erasmus. I was also wondering how long will it take for them to message me about my offer and if I was rejected or not because I also need to start looking for a place.
