Keep it Top Gear!
We'd like to keep discussions top gear related, in all
forms. Be it TV show(s), magazines or websites.
p.s. Top Gear is a long running show. We appreciate that
the version from 2002 with Clarkson, Hammond and May
is the most popular, but many subscribers are fed up with
seeing endless posts and comments asking for the current
hosts to be replaced. So please keep this in mind when
posting.
Next TopGear Episode: March 4, 2018

I'm ready to leave Anime and become a full-fledged Petrolhead, where do I begin?
Having a terrible day, these lot always crack me up, since I've seen all(even the TGT ones) tons of times, I can't choose which one should I watch to cheer me up.
"It's not what you'd call 'cheap'. In fact it is what you'd call 97000 pounds...."
One of my favourite quips by Clarkson.
In the numerous challenges where Clarkson, Slow and Hammond have to buy a 2nd hand vehicle (4x4, sports car etc etc) they always seem to get 3 very different vehicles. I know a lot of the ''unscripted'' stuff is actually scripted, but do they genuinely pick their own vehicles or is that something else that is staged?
hello everyone, I'm currently in the home stretch of my Bachelor's degree in international business. To do so, I have to write a thesis. I've chosen the following topic: Globalization Dilemma: Investigating the Nexus Between Formula 1's International Expansion and its Popularity Crisis. To help me with my question, l've drawn up a questionnaire which you can find below. If you could spare a few minutes of your time to answer it, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance for those who will answer. And for those who have advice or opinions on the subject, l'd be delighted to hear from you.
Car was a basic Corolla, wish it was an amphibious Hilux. Hope it gives some future renter & TG fan a chuckle, because a rental car is the fastest car in the world!

If I remember correctly, Jeremy shows a clip where a car company (Volvo?) claimed they had made a safety device that would ‘blow up’ any obstacles in the car’s way. They showed this at a demonstration, where the car proceeds to just crash into the obstacle. It’s very funny, but I can’t find the clip or the episode. Does anybody know what I’m on about?
It's not on any OTT platforms, discovery plus used to have it but suddenly it's all gone. Help?
James bought the tickets to get to Ha Long, but Jeremy picked the platform. They ended up in Hanoi and needed to make the last journey by bike again.
Rewatching old Top Gear episodes, and got to Series 6 earlier this week. Which raised a question in my mind (and also because my friend and I have a roadtrip soon).
What is the best driving song of all time, almost a full decade later?
Edit: Personally, mine are Wayward Son (Kansas), Save Your Tears (Weeknd), the F1 theme, Rong (The Watson Brothers, it's a song from back home and part of my childhood), and Highway to Hell (AC/DC). Radar Love is a new addition, to be tested out soon.
I have been wanting to watch season 1-22 of top gear but they’re not on any streaming service I can find, I have the google drive with all the episodes but they’re in 120p so I was wondering if there’s anywhere where you can buy seasons 1-22 as one big purchase, any advice would be appreciated greatly.
Whatever happened to Top Gear Dog?
This is an urgent appeal.
I am a victim of a highly addictive substance - James May television, it has consumed me an I resent it's absence.
I have watched most of Captain Slow's filmography, but there is one that has been a constant thorn in my side for years.
James May's Top Toys.
There is a 380p upload on Dailymotion, but its quality is best described as scrunchy. I am in desperate search of this show in it's native resolution (720p).
To be totally honest, I'm not sure if it even exists in 720p anymore. I cannot find it on any streaming services, if it wa ever released on DVD then it must be pretty well hidden, and even with forbidden techniques I have found nothing.
If anyone has any ideas for where I might be able to search, it would be immensely appreciated.
Thank you for reading my urgent appeal :)
