Age old question needs to be asked again.
So, some folks may remember The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, which was a semi-educational TV show from the early 90s that was supposed to document the life of Indiana Jones from when he was 8 years old in 1908 to his late 20s (in the late 1920s, naturally), with Indy running into pretty much every major historical figure in the first quarter of the 20th century, along with being involved in almost every major event, from the Mexican Revolution to WWI and everything in between.
The show never got to flesh out all those years in Indy's life because the show was boring as hell and got canceled pretty quickly, but it's probably safe to assume that if the show had lasted, it would've shown (or at least would've made mention of) Indy being on the Titanic as a 12 year-old kid.
Looking up the scant details canonical details about Indy's family and youth, it seems that his mother died from the flu just a month before the Titanic disaster happened, and so it's possible Indy could've been traveling with just his tutor (a middle-aged woman) on the Titanic from where his mother died in Europe back to America.
If you wanted to artificially insert Indy into the historical record, how would you handwave away the fact that there's no Henry Jones, Jr. on the list of Titanic survivors? Could Indy have been traveling under an assumed name as a kid?
Another interesting thing to think about is that between Indy's service in WWI and constant globetrotting after the war, Indy could've potentially traveled on all three Olympic-class ships (and could've easily have traveled on the Olympic itself a bunch of times - she wasn't decommisioned until 1935, which is the same year that Temple of Doom takes place.)
I'm trying to work on a project with the Titanic's D deck. and I am having a really hard time finding information on the Titanic's Kitchen. best i can find is some old pictures and plans of I think the Olympics kitchen.
Would anyone know a good source to get accurate plans, pictures, or really any information of the kitchen on titanic with detail?
Hey all you should check out this podcast I guested on talking about Titanic in film 1912 - 1958. I’d love to hear what you think, and I hope you enjoy our take on the films and awful puns. It’s available wherever you listen to podcasts. But srs id love to hear what you think!
Hey there everyone how are you all doing at the moment? I was wondering if anyone knows where I could read a few messages from Titanic survivors that were sent from Carpathia back home. For example there was 1 passenger who could just afford to write the Word "saved" to his mother but I don't remember the name. Is there perhaps some on encyclopedia titanica or other platforms?
Thank you very much for any Response. Have a great day/night and may God bless you on your journey.
I think it could be from the model wreck they made looking as deteriated as it it
As I've been reading a lot about Titanic and watch several times the movie, I can't help thinking about the "creative directions" James Cameron took and the missing truths/ dramas.
I've been dreaming of a movie, the opening scene would be the American or British hearings, with the point of view of the survivors, recounting the days on the Titanic. There are enough material to do at least two movies or a serie ?
who would watch it ?
I think i found a game which is horror/psycho horror and about the titanic? atleast the wreck is the titanic.
If you had to choose a Titanic film to watch for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
As in a manga retelling of the Titanic disaster in exactly the way it had happened. Not a cultural reference, parody or story inspired by it. The actual sinking itself in it's entirety.
The story structure would probably stray away from following a single protagonist and would instead cover the sinking from different vantage points from multiple survivors.
I often see 2:1 scale replicas of the Titanic on Minecraft, but since I'm used to making 1:1 scale replicas of buildings, I decided to give it a try on this scale to see how it would look and especially how much of a pain it would be to make (so far it's already looking like a real nightmare lol).
In any case, I hope that I'll be able to get a final result that's at least a little decent but I have my doubts, especially if you take into account all the details such as the Titanic's full-length curve, which is often ignored for simplicity's sake but which I've decided to incorporate into my build for added challenge and realism. If the final result's not bad, I'll have fun making all kinds of versions for all the livery of the entire Olympic class !

To my knowledge, this is the only extant example of a White Star Line-issued Webley revolver, or at least the only photographed one. If you look carefully at the grip, you can see "WHITE STAR LINE" engraved on the inside of the metal handle frame.
Titanic had four or five of these revolvers aboard, if I remember correctly, though this example isn't one of them.
So alot of people mention B being pushed down at 2:15 or pushed after A was this is also shown in animations. But like hemming mentions helping with B then going to starboard where he mentions trying to give the block to moody on the officer quarters roof and the block is used to help get the boat to deck meaning A wasnt pushed down yet. So could B be pushed down before A?
So I was watching a video by Nerdstalgic called Why James Cameron's Titanic hasn't aged in 25 yeaea. I thought this fact he said was incredibly cool and a nice attention to detail. As we know it took 2 hius and 40 min to sink.
