So I just read the comics all the way to the end of Compendium 2 and I’m going to be ranking all the members of the group so far. I’m only gonna out in the dead ones for now because there story’s have ended.

32.Peter: Deserved to die ngl

31.Donna: Let’s be Honest here if the zombie apocalypse didn’t happen Donna would probably go viral for harassing some poor retail worker

30.Otis: Racist piece of trash who lived to long only above Donna because from what I saw he could’ve changed has he lived longer

29.Axel: I couldn’t bring myself to like him after the peeping Tom scene

28.Chris: Idiotic Creep

27.Lori: Let me start this by saying I watched up the end of season 4 in the show and I thought was fine Comic Lori however is a different story accusing Carol of not caring about Sophia unprompted and hooking up with Shane while KNOWING Rick was still alive just left a bad taste in my mouth

26.Billy: kind of annoying honestly

25.Patricia: another idiot

24.Rachel: Didn’t really do much other than die

23.Susie: also didn’t really do much other than die

22.Judith: also didn’t really do much other than die but gets a pass because she was a literal infant

21.Regina: Honesty forgot about her until she died

19.Douglas: thought he was gonna have a character arc but nope

14.Ben: Kind of feel bad for him he needed a therapist but all the therapists were busy being eaten by walkers

11.Allen: now that death I wasn’t expecting

9.Alice: was a pretty bad loss to the group

8.Bruce: I felt bad when he said he didn’t want to die

7.Jim: what a trooper

6.Jessie: deserved so much better

5.Tyrese: the most unexpected death for me thought he was gonna live way longer

4.Hershel: never though an old religious man’s death would make me sad

3.Carol: there were a lot of characters that shouldn’t have been killed of but Carol is the best example like imagine if they had kept her alive and she got past her issues that would be so inspiring

2.Dale: I’m just shocked he lived so long

1.Morgan: Another death that surprised me it sucks that he went through all that just die plus michones reaction

Since Carol is 24 (25 Around time of her death) and Sophia is 7, Carol would've had Sophia around 15-16 years of age. Now wonder she messed up, imagine becoming Teen Mom and later married to Abusive Husband and he died as zombies appearing. And later have to survive in Zombie Apocalypse and your boyfriend cheated on you, all that will definitely messed someone up.

I’ve been reading the first compendium and one of the panels is messed up but I was wondering if this was a common thing of a miss print. I ordered it off Amazon could that be a reason?

I saw some of the show first, then went and read the comics years ago.

I don’t remember the context, I think it was how Laurie died differently in the comics, but I remember imagining: holy shit the fetus dies and comes back in her womb, eating and tearing from inside.

When I read through the prison arc obviously that wasn’t the case. But did that ever happen or get discussed?

Would the fetus be infected in your opinion?

I’m re reading the comic and I got to Volume 7. He’s said it 3 times in two pages. Anyone wanna volunteer and count all of them?

I'm new to comic and I bought the first 6 volumes, I just wanted to know what a volume is because I thought comics were called issues?

I have all 4 compendiums but have thought about trying to get each individual issue on paperback. Not the deluxe versions.

Are there certain issues that are worth more money ($20+) that I should know about? Should I even bother trying.

Looking to see the scarcity of certain issues so I can prioritize those before people start trashing/ losing them in the future as the show falls out of the mainstream. Thanks!!!

I have a complete series run of the TWD from #1-193 with a good collection of variants and tons of the 15 year black bag variants and just wondering if there is a list I can look at to see what iusses are worth grading or just try ebay and look at past searched and what sold for the most?

I have a comic show coming to where I live and I want to take the first 5 issues in for grading and some other big issues or variants but not sure what ones, Any help would be great.

If they would have crossed paths, how would the saviors or alpha and the hoard do against this new crm we are seeing in TOWL? Did the CRM just wipe out every other somewhat formidable force they came across? At the beginning of TWD they saw CRM helicopters every now and then... why didn't the CRM come back and wipe em out or take them? Last questions... wtf is JADIS' connection to the CRM? How long was she in contact with the CRM before the dumpster people fell to the saviors? AND if this is Philadelphia/NY how did the shit going on in DeadCity go completely undetected by the CRM being that they were like an hour apart... Some of this shit may have already been covered and I just forgot 🤷🏽‍♂️ This is all tv show related... I wish they'd redo the end of the comic series 😢

So which one do I like, I’m not sure I like both, but I think I slightly prefer TV Show Michonne because Comic Michonne introduction was a bit odd with the whole Tyreese thing.

Also Comic Michonne was just the, let’s not waste a bullet on a Walker and just kill them without wasting too much time.

Otherwise Comic Michonne was great, but I still slightly prefer TV Show Michonne because he only annoyed me once which was the whole distrusting thing,

So a few days ago, I made a post on what was better overall the show or comic and I called it day 0, I had intended for every day since to a new post talking about a certain character, but I was temporarily banned, due to some bs that I won’t get into. This is just for those who wanted to know why I didn’t post.

Anyways, me personally I think I slightly prefer TV Show Rick Grimes, because Andrew Lincoln just does such a great job and just his story in general is little more interesting since the comic was more Carl focused.

This is not to say comic Rick is bad by any means, Comic Rick is a fantastic character in his own right and I was severely debating on this question for a while, but at the end of the day I have to go with TV Show.

Hey all, I’m currently doing a reread of the comics and I was curious if there is any data out there about the amount of visibility/lines the characters in the comics get, either in relation to how long their run in the comics is or not. I thought it would be interesting to see some measure of how much focus each member of the cast really gets.

Recently I just finished the comics and I throughly enjoyed it. Mid to late last year I also finished the main show.

So this is something new I’m going to start doing, everyday from now I’m going to comparing characters from both show and comics and seeing which one I prefer and this is a group discussion type thing so feel free to talk about it as well.

Now for the question which medium do I prefer overall between the two, Honestly I’m not sure but let’s see,

For the show Seasons 1-6 were peak, 7-8 were not as good but not bad, 9-10 were awful, and 11 was ok. I haven’t seen Fear or World Beyond yet, I’ve seen the first three episodes of tales, I’ve finished Darryl Dixon and Dead City and I’ve seen the first ep of TOWL.

As for the comics I recently read the entire main story. I’ve read here’s Negan and am currently reading the alien.

So overall I think I’m going to have to go with comics on this one, as unlike the show I was never really bored with this, except the early parts of the initial timeskip but other than that it was perfect.

So which one do you prefer and why?

Haven’t collected for about 8 years, but sold my collection at that time for way more than I’m seeing issues going for even graded. Did all of the spin offs saturate the fan interest?

My Least favorite had to be the lack of Daryl like most people.

Would anyone like to discuss? Did anyone enjoy the ending? Andreas death? Carl and Sofia? (Don’t like that they ended up together) I also hated maggie by the end. And Hershel being a bitch was a weird gimmick. What do you guys think?? I also hated ricks hair at the end. But I loved 99% of it. Way better than the show!

I’m not gonna be able to start volume 32 for a few days, and I cannot stop thinking about how they wrap this up so quickly, the last few volumes seems like it’s been quicker than the older ones, but still like, how is this gonna wrap up so quick!

Like, is there more issues after I don’t know about, or is 32 the absolute end? I guess I don’t really expect an answer here I’m just gonna have to read it, but lowkey I don’t want it to end😭😭
