HFC Research

Hi everyone,

My name is Alex and I'm a graduate from Rowan University. Currently I am working with Dr Dongmei Dong and we are conducting research involving hydrogen fuell cells. We are in an NSF program right now and so I need to talk as many people as I can. If anyone works in R&D for fuel cells, EVs or HEVs, and is willing to talk to me or knows someone who is willing, please reach out! It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Redditors 🫡

Maybe visit the other "hydrogen economy" sub?

Kinda dumb to have two of the same thing.

What do you guys think of using ammonia as a fuel source for decarbonization?

I came upon this company. They use ammonia as a power source. Is this sustainable? What do you guys think?

Amogy’s founders officially launched the company with the goal of converting ammonia into a sustainable power source to decarbonize transportation.

Small scale hydrogen compressor?

This is a dumb project and probably the wrong place to ask this, but maybe someone can at least point me in the right direction.

I've recently acquired a small PEM electrolyzer unit (600ml/min), and I want to start collecting the gas. My main problem though is with compression. I understand the principles of what I need, but I'm having difficulty finding anything on a consumer / very small business level, and if like to get some advice before jumping into something so potentially dangerous.

So does anyone have recommendations on specific products, forums, or general resources and advice?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Looking for large-scale non-mobility hydrogen projects

Hey there, as the title suggests I am on the hunt for projects with a high hydrogen consumption, but not related to mobility (buses, trains etc.). My search so far only yields results for those transport oriented projects. Would be glad if you could help me out
