The rules of SubredditDramaDrama
GENERAL RULES
The rules of reddit are always in effect; do not dox users or post information that can lead to dox; do not call for brigades or witchhunts against subreddits or users; do not post child pornography; etc.
You may not ping users using a link to their username. (e.g., using /u/)
RULES FOR SUBMITTING LINKS
This subreddit is not your personal army. Don't link to comment chains that you've posted in.
Don't use alt accounts to get around the above rule.
Only post submissions from drama in /r/SubredditDrama
When preparing your submissions, make sure they have a neutral title. Being witty is fine, but please don't take a side in the drama.
Please link directly to the drama. If you need to add context add "?context=x" where x is the number of parent comments up you want to add.
If there is drama in several places in a single thread, try a self post instead.
Please don't unnecessarily include usernames in titles or posts.
RULES FOR COMMENTING
Try not to be a dick to people. Arguing with others is fine, but don't stoop to name-calling or harassing.
Please leave all deliberate circlejerking (Navy Seal copypasta, copypasta in general, posts like "this") at the door.
USEFUL TOOLS
/r/SubredditDramaDrama
This is a wild one for sure.
OP's (now removed by mods) original post on r/linux_gaming asks: "why game devs do not support Linux and why valve does"
The original SRD thread covering this sums up the above thread nicely. You can read the linked drama comment details in there at your own leisure:
OP sharing their hypothesis on why very few games are developed for GNU/Linux - not because of low market share, but because of 'backroom licensing and exclusivity deals'. The post is relatively well received and generates some interesting discussion, but the slapfights begin when OP starts replying to every comment that disagrees with their assertion.
________
The SRDD action begins when OOP notices the SRD thread and begins responding to comments. ALL of them get buried in downvotes.
Replies to another comment calling him out on his conspiracy: It's not a conspiracy. It's how the industry works.
That reply doesn't go over well. User "RevoD346" posts: Why are you here trying to argue with people, dork? We're laughing at you. You can't win anything besides more laughter from us directed at you.
OP fights back: Pointing out the obvious a la "Why are you here trying to argue with people, dork? We're laughing at you." is pure SubredditDrama gold.
________
OP then posts RevoD346's reply to SRD as its own thread with the title:
"rSubredditDrama in a nutshell"
And this is where it all goes off the freaking rails.
________
First off, in the original SRD thread, another user, Chewbacca the Wookie, informs Revo of that post.
OP gets into a lightsaber duel with Chewie:
"You're projecting, bro. You're criticizing yourself at this point." - "you have an ego that won't let you stop responding because you feel like you have to get in the last word in order to gain some of your dignity back after being trounced in multiple SRD threads." - "Take a few steps back and look in the mirror. This shit is pathetic."
________
Meanwhile, in OP's own SRD post of an SRD comment, OP declares war on EVERYBODY:
"I said I made money shilling for Microsoft and you asked if I was jealous of something?" - "You're momma's lil jelly boy/girl/them."
"Did you...think youd get shit on less for making this post?" - I really think you can do better than calling me a "dork" and pointing out how "we're laughing at you". :P I'm insulted if you think that pointing out the obvious is your idea of an insult.
"see rule 4 – no drama you are personally involved in" - "This is a post about rSubredditDrama's reaction to another drama I was involved in. It's indirect involvement."
"It's the literal definition of direct involvement, dork." - "If your strategy was to bore me to death and then claim victory then you might as well go get your chicken dinner right now 'cause it's getting cold. Regardless of what you might think of yourself, you're not that entertaining nor even remotely competent at roasting. :P"
"Lmao OP got cooked and now is posting here looking for people to back him up" - "I'm just lookin' for hetchup and fries, bro. This sub is amazing. 4 realz."
"Loser" - OP links to his SRD thread - "Loser" - OP links to his SRD thread again
"dude is cooked" - "If you're referring to being under the influence of psychoactive drugs then all I can say is "I wish". :P"
"This is embarrasing" - OP apparently pokes fun at the user's flair as a response
More drama from OP's claim about 'indirect involvement', huge comment thread

Lately a user by the name of DonaldDuckJTrumo, also known by the confirmed alt of ALDO113A, (I wish I had the free time to find the post where he confirmed it, but he also confirms it in one of the posts mentioned here) has been posting a ton of SRD posts. I'm sure you've all seen them. As of recent, as in the past 7 days, he's been posting as much as 5 times a day. Most of these posts are about Star Wars, Marvel, or Spider-Man.
Turns out, some have taken notice of the almost spam of posts, and they have begun to slowly turn on DDJT/ALDO. There are probably posts earlier than the ones listed where it's mentioned, but the earliest I could find is from about 6 days ago.
Post 2 (this one involves me, full clarity there)
Post 2.5 (DDJT posts here, in SRDD about the argument in Post 2... lmao)
Post 3. Things come to a head here as ALDO/DDJT begins to respond to comments lamenting his Marvel Comics-related posting spree
P.S. DDJT, I know you're reading this, it seems a lot of people take issue with a lot of your posts. Some say they're too wordy or too much about one topic or too old... I don't have great answers for that. But my one bit of advice is to just make the titles shorter. There's so much word salad. It seems to me you're trying to clickbait people on a subreddit that gets like 8 posts a day tops. They don't need clickbait, they'll click it anyway.
If it's a lot to explain, just make the title short and explain the rest in the post maybe? Like jeez.
edit:
the user in question has now utterly spammed my DM's claiming that aldo is not an alt (which I plainly do not believe) and trying to explain how he simply cannot edit the titles among other stuff. Just annoying at this point, man.
https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1e1pal5/banned_from_rpics_for_post_title/
OP posts their own drama:
I posted the "president Putin meeting vice president trump" joke to pics after 7000+ upvotes and counting and hitting the top 25 posts on the frontpage I got banned from pics for the title. Is this regular reddit or left wings fascism at work?
Sorry if this is drama that my account is involved with, if somebody would like to post this to this sub for me to comply with the rules id really appreciate an answer
In the span of 4 hours, there are 100+ comments.
OP theorizes reddit is not for him.
OP suggests reddit is a fascist state.
OP potentially offends people over a comment.
One user suggests there will be a r/SubredditDramaDrama post.
Reminder not to piss in the popcorn.
Context behind the comedian being beat up by the Nazi within the post linked by SRD (minor correction in square brackets is mine):
On June [1st] 2024 a man uploaded to Twitter a photo of him posing with his baby, the image, with the caption “Happy and proud” showed the man holding his son on his arms with the face of the baby censored by a red heart.
A few hours later, a Spanish comedian responded to the picture “Nothing and no one will avoid the possibility of him being gay, and when he’s older he won’t be able to stop sucking black cock. From a black blue collar worker cock, not a footballer. Time is so wise, we can only wait”
The man found out the comedian was performing in Murcia, Spain, on June 4rth, so he drove from his town to Murcia (about a 6 hour drive) and showed up to his comedy show, this is the altercation that followed.
Additional background per this El Mundo article (Spanish).
Cue a SRD free-for-all:
The best comment chain, however, is the [removed] one, retrieved via Unddit: You really don’t understand why being compared to a violent wild animal because of the way you were born is extremely hurtful?
Wrong-Afternoon- begins having an episode in a post he makes asking whether he can make fun of him in SRD, he logs on his alt Brilliant-Data- to provide support. OP apparently posts over 200 times a day on multiple accounts about Destiny.
Full Disclosure, I have commented on the SRD post, but my comments did not deal with the Drama I am about to relate.
During a pro-Palestinian protest in the UK, a cop told a Jewish man and Antisemitism Campaigner (Come On people there must be a better word for this) that he was "Openly Jewish". For some more context, it appears the Cop may have been stopping the Campaigner from getting closer to the protests, either out of antisemitism, victim blaming, or just genuine care for the man's safety near an admittedly rowdy crowd. My personal view is that it is a combination of these various factors.
Do Tankies have a place in Leftist Discourse? As an appetizer SRDines debate gatekeeping leftism.
I honestly don't even disagree with the gatekeeping in this case.
Be Advised the Commenter below has edited many of his comments.
Which autocratic regime do you think the "tankies" in that thread are supporting exactly?
Others disagreed about where to draw the line.
Leftist organizations are completely right to not want to associate with people that openly embrace genocide of marginalized groups.
.
I don't agree with you on the topic. Have a wonderful sunday!
.
Don't tell me what kind of Sunday to have! 😡😡😡
Now for the main course, SRDines debate the actions of the cop.
The amount of subs I’ve seen trying their very hardest to defend this in some way has been extremely eye opening. Even in that thread alone — so many leftists defending COPS!
.
From the video it honestly just feels like the cop is trying to keep the peace, which is their job.
.
I don't think harassing relgious minorities is peaceful but I hope that boot tastes good
A lot of police don't actually care about helping or protecting people, it's just an excuse to take rights away from marginalized groups.
.
I don't think that's fair to say either. There's a lot of compassion fatigue that negatively impacts them.
.
Lol sure. That’s the problem. Cops just care too much.
Others Debated if the lone Campaigner was a provocateur.
Being Jewish is not a provocation. If him being there and looking Jewish is all that it takes to cause violence then the protest should be broken up.
.
Context. When the chief executive of an anti-anti-semitism group is trying to push through a protest (of a type that he's been publicly opposing for months) with cameras, then I think it's pretty obvious what footage it was that he wanted.
For Dessert: What is an Ethnostate? and What about the Nordic Countries??
This is my first write-up in both SRD and SRDD, let me know if I can improve anywhere.
Full disclosure: I'm the OP of the linked thread but I haven't commented in the link threads or any other threads.

It's all fun and games dunking on gamers until piracy is brought up:
a post in the r/destiny subreddit pokes fun of an opinion piece regarding the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombings:
commenter bashes japanese people, stating he/she thinks "less of them" while pointing out their own atrocities, to the upvotes of hundreds:
(original comment , before being deleted):
Ngl this Oppenheimer drama has unironically made me think less of Japanese people
Starts fight with Pearl Harbor attack
Gets rekt across the Pacific
Refuses to surrender despite certain defeat due to braindead cultural pride
Gets nuked to end WW2 and 100k-200k die (Japan killed millions of civilians in China alone)
USA writes their constitution, gets transformed from a genocidal empire into a prospering peaceful democracy
Takes absolutely 0 accountability for some of the worst war crimes of all time to this day
Rages at movie based on the life of the guy who made the bomb because they’re so pissed, nuke is in the movie for 10 seconds. Movie’s message is explicitly “nukes bad.”
person replies to commenter, the reply causes a massive dogpile on said person:
(original reply ):
it's funny that you had to add how many people Japan killed to make the nuke number seem smaller. 200k is alot of fucking people. just own up to it man. it was horrendous and should've been avoided
r/SubredditDrama post appears regarding the above exchange. title appears opinionated and assumes universal agreement when stating said opinion:
post's title:
r/Destiny deals with the fallout after a user drops a nuclear hot take on bombing Japan. "Excuse me sir you did not say war is bad before you typed the rest of your comment ☝️🤓"
hell breaks loose in the comments of the r/SubredditDrama post, discussing the morality of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.
