Robotic form for Alolan Sandslash inspired by r/PokemonRoleplays (yeah, the place where all the AMAs ended up. That one.)

    Sandslash-A (Robot)

Ability: Overload Drive This Pokémon has one extra move slot that must be filled with an electric type move that the Pokémon can learn. This Pokémon can only use an electric move if it is in this move slot. However, this move is not capable of being used unless the user has the charge effect (usually only possible via the electromorphosis ability or the move charge). Upon being hit with an electric move, the user's speed is increased by one stage, and they gain the charged effect until it switches out. This ability provides an immunity to electric, and also adds electric to the user's type.

New level-up moves: Spark (Lv.11) Zing Zap (Lv.30) Recover (Lv.47) Shift Gear (Lv.59) Gear Grind (Lv.68) Plasma Fists (Lv.100)

New Move tutor/TM moves: Thunder Punch Supercell Slam Electroweb Electric Terrain Triple Axel Close Combat

    Stats: HP: 90 Atk: 115 Def: 150 Sp.Atk: 70 Sp.Def: 100 Spe: 75 BST: 600

IT'S BUILT FOR UBERS CRY ABOUT IT (just like this other theorymon i made which you should totally check out and upvote as well please don't kill me I just want you all to know the wonders of the donut snake)

    Totally not broken donut snake

Doughroboros (from doughnut and ouroboros if that wasn't obvious):

    The Eternal Pastry Pokémon

    Type: Fairy-Dragon

Dex entry: Doughroboros produces cushiony pink icing which, in combination with its deceptively hard sprinkle-like scales, form an almost impenetrable barrier.

    New Ability: Sprinkle Shield

This Pokémon takes half damage from all physical attacks, with the exclusion of biting moves, which instead deal double damage to it.

    Stats:

    HP: 110

    Atk: 85

    Def: 122

    Sp.Atk: 125

    Sp.Def: 123

    Spe: 70

    Total: 535

    STAB:

    Play Rough

    Moonblast

    Dragon Pulse

Draco Meteor Dazzling Gleam Dragon Rush Scale Shot

Coverage: Flamethrower Fire Blast Thunderbolt Shadow Ball Psychic

Utility/Status: Decorate Aromatherapy Rapid Spin Protect Rest Nasty Plot Coil

If it wasn't obvious, this guy isn't built for OU. It's definitely another flutter mane or iron bundle. But, hey, at least we have a consistent check for the two bikes now (at least, until mirai starts running dazzling gleam).

If anything is on the wrong line, it's likely because I edited the post and Reddit is a bit wacky on mobile.

    Any advice :(

So i’m like brand new to vgc play, been playing pokemon since pearl, but this is my first time getting into training and building teams. This is my second week playing and i’ve been doing ok but can’t for the life of me make pikachu work… I know it’s sucks but I love him. He’s maxed out on special atk and speed but still does such low dmg even w light ball. Is there any way to make him viable even a little or is pikachu cooked. If he is literally useless, what electric type should i swap him out w? It’s my fav type and id love to have some electric sweeper on my team

Part 3 of my box art project.

For those unaware this is a project where I make most of the greek gods of Olympus into box art legendary level pokemon for ubers. The final one for this week is based on hades the ruler of the underworld.

    Haderberus

    Type: ghost/dark

Ability: underworlds grasp: when the user is knocked out, the opponent is targeted by a 3 turn perish count. Chooses a random opponent if not knocked out directly.

Stats Hp: 90 Attack: 150 Defense: 70 Special attack: 150 Special defense: 70 Speed: 150

Signature move: Styxian malice: 90 bp physical contact move that becomes special when the user's special attack is higher than their physical attack and always goes first, flinching the opponent. However it can only be used once the first turn the mon hits the field.

Other moves: knock off, poltergeist, shadow ball, dark pulse, nasty plot, swords dance, elemental punches, ice beam, aura sphere, psychic, flamethrower, thunderbolt, earthquake.

What it offers: It's main role is that it is a nuisance and a threat that would be hard pressed to outright sweep but can push deadly holes whether through its stabs or coverage, its sig move basically offering a free hit on the enemy like a more extreme fake out/first impression, or by forcing them out after death via putting a perish count on them. However aside from its sig move, and the pressure its ability inflicts, it is pretty average as a mixed offensive mon with no boosting ability or spamable sig move though it can be very deadly.

Check out the others or give your thoughts about this mon.

normal type contact moves used by an electric type are electrified

rather than a new move i got a thursday-sunday idea for a trait to fix physical electric types: normal type contact moves used by electric types are electrified

now electric types can use double edge as if it were volt tackle, volt tackle is still special in that it has the parachance and would still be stab&electric if you tera into another type. wild charge is sometimes used as coverage anyway, non electric types still get supercell slam too.

a consequence would be iron hands getting a electric type fake out. luxray gets stab guts facade and quick attack that can be boosted by terrain. giga impact

i kind of wanted to go further with it and make it complex, give it special logic on whether the moves would be electrified or not depending if the target is ghost or ground, like the best in both cases or the worse

bonus: phys electric type freeze dry against steel types, super conductor... worth carrying? it's not flipping a resistance so brute forcing would be similar

Who would benefit most from the removal of EVs/IVs/Natures?

Who gets hit the hardest? Personally, I feel like mixed attackers are going to be much more valuable, as even with 4MSS they can have options against specialized tanks like Blissey/Skarmory. I personally think this would help to even the playing field for some of the older generation Pokémon that are stuck in the realm of “slow-bulky mixed attacker”. The removal of Natures helps hedge the overwhelming increase in stats(10% of 80 Base is much less than 10% of 135 Base), and the removal of EVs makes specialization specifically based on the pokemon itself instead of Trainer influence. It probably means that some of the more powerful mons might get banned from OU, but I think it opens up a higher variety of mons in the long run.

Regigigas can pass Slow Start onto other mons.

What will that do? My hypothesis is that Gigas will become actually OU

If Struggle was a teachable move would there be any reason to use it?

    Struggle

    Type: ???
    Power Points: ∞
    Base Power: 50
    Accuracy: —%
    Additional Notes:

Deals 1/4th of the user's max hp as recoil damage
Before Gen IV it dealt 1/4th of the damage dealt as recoil

    Tag team: A cooler fusion

Generational gimmick: Combines the stats of 2 mons and diviides them by two, hp only gets divided by 1.8 if the two mons are in the same egg group or are a special tag team. Special tag teams are two mons that have a lore connection or are iconic partners (e.g. starters, palkia dialga, Pikachu and Charizard) These special tag team also get a special move that doesn't take up a move slot and have special effects based on the dou. All tag teams gain the typing of both mons and the movepool. A tag Team does take up two slots of your team tho!

Metagame effects: Shedinja would of course still be dexited and some abilities would have to change. Huge power only give 1.5 boost when skill swapped this could be implemented to also work when in a tag team and this effect could also be implemented on pure power. In singles it would still be broken or at least a lot of the combos because giving up 1 team slot is well worth it for such an upgrade in power. In doubles it would be a bit more balanced because fighting with only 3 mons v.s 4 is a bigger difference and the individual pokemon has a lower influence because you have two out at the same time.

My favorite gen 8 legendary deserves the strength of its peers.

I don't think this ability would be too strong though it kinda messes with the Zacian match up, but in my head it doesn't bypass dragon vs fairy. This is the first buff idea I've had for a pokemon so I'm not too sure of if it's insane or not

    Making a Pseudo-Legendary: Rebalanced

Alright, maybe I went a bit overboard last time. Introducing the new and improved….Vikodon!

Type: Dragon/Fighting Abilities: Moxie or No Guard (originally Steelworker) HA: Sharpness (originally Huge Power)

Note: This is intended for Ubers.

    New stat spread: 120/140/85/75/80/100

Signature Move: Axe Tail, a 150 power, 90 accurate Fighting move that makes the user recharge after its use, unless the target is fainted by the move. Is boosted by Sharpness.

Other notable moves: Victory Dance, Outrage, Close Combat, Iron Head, Heavy Slam, Bulk Up, Body Press, Toxic, Crunch, Dragon Claw, Drain Punch, Flash Cannon, Draco Meteor, Aura Sphere, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, ThunderPunch, Kowtow Cleave, Stone Axe, Ceaseless Edge, Brick Break, Ice Hammer, Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, Scale Shot, Superpower, DynamicPunch, Aqua Cutter, Play Rough, Head Smash, Stone Edge

    Buffing Banette

Banette. The Marionette Pokémon. One of my favorites from Gen 3. Unfortunately, it’s….how you say…bad? Like really bad? Like “My Mega is the ultimate noobtrap” bad? Let’s change that.

First up, a change in typing. Banette is literally fueled by hatred, hell, it learns KNOCK OFF upon evolving from Shuppet. Yeah. It’s now Ghost/Dark, the way it should be.

Next up, a change in Ability. Its HA Cursed Body is situational at best. I decided to change it to Unaware, so that way it can hit past Defense boosts.

Now, a change in stats. It now has a 64/135/65/73/63/115 stat spread, making it faster and stronger.

Next, some new moves. Banette is now gifted with the moves Crunch, Shadow Punch, Drain Punch, ThunderPunch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Night Slash, Play Rough, and Zen Headbutt.

*Note: Shadow Punch now has 75 power and bypasses all Defense boosts+Protect.

Mega Banette now has a 64/185/75/83/83/125 stat spread. That’s right, Mega Banette now has an Attack stat that eclipses the mighty Deoxys-Attack. It loses Prankster, but in its place is Disenchant, which not only makes Banette immune to Fairy moves, but they now also raise its Attack by one stage if it is hit by one.

I wouldn’t be shocked if these buffs cause Banette to rise to OU, and its Mega to Ubers.
