Hey guys.
I have a problem with Strava. That being the fact that in the list of segments being shown at my activities are not including all segments. When I check the activity of my friend who was with me on that ride, I can find them there. When I click that segment that is missing for me I can suddenly see my time from that particular ride. It’s also the other way around. When my friend checks his segments, it does not show some segments that are available at my activity. Are some segments simply hidden in the list?
Hello guys!
Is there a way to actibate weather info on your Strava post? I got mine ON but it's still not added to my post.
Can we admit its getting kind of silly to get screenshots of watches and Strava posts for every time someone runs their first (insert random distance) or runs a PR of (insert random distance)
"Exceptional or noteworthy activity posts only" is quite subjective. Is the objective to allow 100k people to post every PR in this sub?
These are not actually related to Strava....they just happened to track them there.
The running subreddit banned these type of posts because like here...it got out of hand...they do threads for them for people that really need to tell strangers they PR'd
This was my longest distance effort! For context, I did 50, 105, and 210mi back to back!
Hello I’m 17 M, I made an account and have uploaded a few activities but I cannot follow anyone. It isn’t an issue with the limit as I current follow 0 people. Is this an age problem? Or is there something else I can do to fix this?
So, today I had a BBQ blowout, haha! You name it, I ate it. Burgers, steaks, pizza, garlic bread, donuts, and chocolate… I enjoyed it all. I laughed, played cards, and shared moments with family and friends (the 5,260 calories were well worth it after a week of dieting and lifting). Anyway, when I went home I just had so much energy, like so much. I started off lightly walking but I suppose my new headphones took me into orbit and I just went and went and went! The end result was meeting my maintenance and scoring a PB on Strava. Totally unplanned but thoroughly enjoyed. Walking is a joy for me as it reminds me that I’m young and able.
Decided to run my first marathon distance with a friend! I’m not a huge fan of paying to run so racing isn’t really my preference, but this was great.
I planned this route which was a perfect loop with minimal lights/stops almost around the entire island of Manhattan (crossed at 155th street).
Finally started being active this year and looking after myself. After losing 20kg since my heaviest last year finally hit my first 10km run today!
Last week I finished my Spring term which means I passed my first year as an international student. Quite lonely here sometimes, but perhaps I’m also a bit intraverted and shy to interact with people, sometimes college can be stressful, but I really am glad I made it to my first year and running has always been my favorite therapy.
Completed in less 2 months (i think)
95% humidity…I’m very slow. I’ve never sweat so much in my life.
I've been running on and off for 15 years and recently with increased motivation for weight loss I've tried new ways to run.
This time I wanted to run in zone 3 as zone 2 is impossible for me. I'm using the built in hr montior in the watch so I guess it'll only get better once I use a chest strap.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
I have an operation soon, cyst removal on back.
They are telling me I need to stay out of gym for a month! And maybe running too….
Surely not that long….?
Anyway, just wondering. Am I likely to lose a lot of my 6 months running gains in that time?
2 weeks say
My first ever 10km run, started running aprox one month ago - sport background though
I really don’t want Strava bugging me to go and exercise, I already have plenty of stuff planned for the day!
Well, I'm in market for a treadmill for a space room in a second-floor condominium. I need something well built, serviceable by owner, and long lasting. Could you tell me what treadmills you have and why you love it? Please and thank you. Any recommendations will be highly appriciated.
Started on 4th April and just over a month later, I have my first 5k
I use the native Apple Watch app to record my runs and transfer to Strava. Lately, the map does not (randomly) show on the Strava app, but does on my activity app on the iPhone. Any ideas how to fix this. Thanks.
