Buying a box…

Really would like to buy a box of Death Star II to open some packs and chase that old nostalgia high… it was the set my cousins and I stopped collecting. Is paying $2500 really the state of things now? There’s no way the single cards are even close to that valuable. Is it just the chance to open multiple Emperors? Anyone got a better price/ place to buy than eBay?

Facebook Market listing pricing advice

I saw this image and a post on Facebook Marketplace. 29 opened packs with some cards missing. The seller is asking 125. Beyond the box and packs I imagine any card with value is gone. I would be interested in this for just decoration. What would be a fair price to pay for something like this?

Backwards writing misprint?

Anyone know if this sort of thing is valuable? Or is this just a normal card of Hindsight?

Needing help with beginner decks

I've been interested in making some decks to try the game out, and a few years ago, someone shared this link: https://cmikehardy.tripod.com/starwarsccg/deckdesigns.htm but several of the decks have a card that seems to be light-side only in the dark side deck. Is that a thing that's normally allowed, or do people have recommendations on what to replace them with? The cards in question are Draw Their Fire and Bargaining Table. Still trying to keep these as cheap decks.

I see a DMYA AI Foil sold on eBay for $1000 (CAD). Is that accurate??

Have I made a mistake or have you heard of them going for that much?

Here it is.

Ruling Question Concerning Start - Agents of the Black Sun

OK, assuming Light Side Start does not interfere with my start in any way, is this how the start and beginning of my 1st turn works as it does in my head:

  1. Deploy Agents of the Black Sun as Objective
  2. Deploy Imperial City w/Prince Xizor
  3. Deploy Coruscant
  4. Play Twi'lek Advisor as Starting Interrupt
  5. Deploy Presence of the Force on Imperial City
  6. Flip Agents of the Black Sun to Vengeance of the Dark Prince as Imperial City is now a battleground
  7. Draw Hand
  8. First Turn Starts
  9. Activate Phase
  10. Control Phase - Force Drain of 1 and opponent loses 1 Force to Vengeance of the Dark Prince.

Hoth L&D deck list for equal game?

I'm trying to put together a fun deck pair for Hoth and try to stick to just the Hoth sets with maybe a card here or there if it makes sense.

Main goal is to make it sort of lore accurate, equal, not too rule complicated. I'd like to leave out all of the nighttime conditions on the dark side. Pretty much looking at echo base operations vs blow up shields.

Anyway, does anyone know of a build list like this?

This was my first big collection when I was younger. I have the first three complete sets in limited black border, near mint condition.

I always hoped they would go up in value over time, like my dad's MTG cards. But they never did. Sad.

Can someone explain the picture for this card? “Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber” but it looks like Vader’s.

5 sealed limited boosters, 2 sealed Limited starters, was offered 30, and 5 for 500 almost new mixed lot.

Fair or being low-balled?

A Dark Side deck to complement my current decks (P-DSII)

Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to the game and don’t have much experience. I will be gifted three decks in the Premiere - Death Star II format:

  1. Hidden Base X Wing (Light)

  2. Mind What You Have Learned (Light)

  3. Bring Him Before Me (Dark)

Now, I’m looking for a fourth deck (to proxy) for the Dark Side that would be fun to play against the two Light Side decks I mentioned. I want something that is competitive with them while also offering some interesting and fun interactions.

What would you recommend as a good Dark Side deck that matches their level and provides a varied gameplay experience?

Thanks in advance for your help!
