Toob is again fully down. Throughout the week it has been sporadically down and/or not allowing larger (2MB 🙄) email attachments, but now it is fully down. People, do not waste your money on this rubbish service.
The student night on Thursday the 3rd says it’s cancelled. I got a refund for my tickets and went to see the event and now it says it’s cancelled? Does anyone know anything about this?
Hi,
Just wondering where would go to collect my takeaway if I had it delivered. Same for Morrisons shopping as well. Would it be right outside my halls?
For those that enjoy the Deeper, liquid, soulful & jazzy side of the genre
Hello, is anyone who would like to takeover my room at SO14. It is a spacious en-suite room with WiFi, and cleaning every 2 weeks. The monthly rent is 730£ per month. Dm me if you’re interested.
Hi, Does anyone have a spare ticket for the freshers fair tomorrow? I understand that they let people in without tickets after 3 but I tried that with bunfight today and the queue was too long and they said they’re not letting anymore people in.
Can anyone that decided not to go to bunfight give me a ticket as I think they’re booked out.
Does anyone know when I will be contacted about a bursary? I should be eligible for one but I know universities are typically reluctant to give them out. If anyone is in 2nd/3rd year and has received it i’d appreciate some info about the timeline and when I will be contacted?
I have multiple options - Accounting, Business Analytics and Risk, Business Project, Corporate Finance, Digital and Data Driven Marketing, Global Business Environment, Leadership Development Programme, Leading Sustainability, innovation, operations management, People and organisations, Strategy and Decision Making.
Is this only for those living in student accommodation? i live in a private house share and haven’t received any free pass. Just making sure before i buy one. And can they be shared if someone i know has one?
I'm starting my masters this term in uni and just wondering if older students are also gonna be joining these events to socialize?
Hey anyone not going and dont want their ticket or are going and dont mind dm me their ticket , much appreciated
I join the university next week, but unfortunately live quite a distance away and driving in is the only viable option, I’ve explored all possible alternatives.
If anyone has a driveway at their place that’s unused and a short walk from the uni, I’d be happy to rent it from you guys. I get a parking space, you get some extra cash. 😀
Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions to fresher events you would highly recommend from SUSU.
Uni students welcome to this Free Party
Hi, I’m an offer holder currently doing a gap year. I am going to join economics&accounting next autumn. Is anybody doing this course at the moment that could also tell me a bit about it (eg how many lessons are in class, how difficult it is but any other advice, whether there are any international students like me, but any other advice or experiences are welcome) Thank you:)
I want free food
Hi there, I am mostly interested in finding out about teaching staff and the course structure. If you studied here, did you have much practical (hands-on) experience that also came in useful in your future? How good were the professors? read somewhere that they read off slides. If anybody can give feedback, I would be very grateful.
Hey, I'll be joining as a PhD student at UoS. As we've to take courses in the first year so how many are allowed and can we choose it based on our interests or it's decided by the supervisor?
Hey yall! Just for some context, I'm studying at the Malaysia campus (USMC). I'm about to start my bachelor's in computer science, but I'm assuming that the course content will be the same as the UK. with that assumption in mind, do you guys have any tips I should know about the course itself? I've also finished my foundation at USMC, but I would still appreciate any extra helping info:) Thanks!
I applied there kinda rushed after the deadline and got a place, only recently have i seen that its mostly a place for postgrad students.
Any new undergrads going this year, feel free to drop me a dm lol
Anyone going clubbing tomorrow or something like that and need anything message me
Please help. I am confused about how the schedule is set. Am I supposed to register to these classes? Or is it automatically assigned especially if there is a concentration?
My timetable on the MySouthampton app shows the same classes for three different slots on the same day. Am I supposed to be joining all of them? 🤔😶🌫️ 🤯 Or did I miss anything?
Update: I called Student Hub, they said the timetables are in draft version and they are still working through it to finalize it by the 22nd of September. They said if there were further concerns please reach out after the 22nd of September.
