"When we started this process everyone thought it was impossible. While this represents yet another obstacle to achieving our goal, I just wanted to reassure all of you that we have numerous options at our disposal and have absolutely no plans to give up. Impossible is nothing but a state of mind."

High quality photos of Rashard Lewis?

Hey everyone, I am trying to make a display case for my signed Rashard Lewis jersey. I wanted to include a couple photos but could not for the life of me find any high quality pics of him online. Anyone got any links to good quality images of him playing as a Sonic?

Thank you!

Who should do play-by-play?

We're beyond blessed to have John Forslund doing play-by-play for the Kraken. So I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas on who the team should get.

I grew up with the Timberwolves, and have super fond memories of Kevin Harlan. He spent nine years in MN, and hearing him do a series in the playoffs this year was just magic. So I'd love it if we could land him.

Edit Oh thought this would get added. Here's a little Timberwolves tribute: https://youtu.be/C5QoIpqTYSM

Rivalry Question

Wolves fan here with a question to the Sonics fans.

Obviously a team can have more than just one rival. But if/when the Sonics get an expansion, would you consider the Thunder or Trailblazers to be a bigger rival?

I also got to visit Seattle last weekend, beautiful beautiful city. I am so insanely jealous of how close to nature the city is. Makes me want to live there one day.

You are the owner of the resurrected Sonics. You are required to use one of the previous logo/jersey sets instead of creating a new one. Which do you choose?

See the title. Imagine that instead of designing a new logo/uniform, you have to use one of the old ones. As a refresher, although I know you guys all know this:

V1: 1967-1973: Two logos, and variations of cursive script jersey.

*Initial Space Needle Logo: Logo 1.0

*Basketball with Comic Sans Logo: Logo 1.1

Several variations of Cursive Script Jersey: Jersey 1 | Jersey 1.1 | Jersey 1.2

V2: 1973-74: Just one year, but deserves its own segment for that comic book style font: Logo 2 | Jersey 2

V3: 1970s-1995: Bright green + yellow with Skyline logo: Logo 3 | Jersey 3.0 (initial jerseys with this logo, lasted only a couple years) | Home Jersey 3.1 | Road Jersey 3.1

V4: 1995-2001: Forest green, red, and gold with Space Needle logo: Logo 4 | Home Jersey 4 | Road Jersey 4 | Red Alternate Jersey 4

V5: 2001-2008: Return to green and yellow (though a bit more muted than the 1975-95 colors) but with Superman-like "S" logo: Logo 5 | Home Jersey 5 | Road Jersey 5 | Yellow Alternate Jersey 5

Wanted to say Congratulations to the Seattle SuperSonics for yet another undefeated Season

That’s 16 straight seasons without a Loss in the books. That’s a franchise record.

Some speculate that the Sonics could return for the 2027-2028 season. Adam Silver said his next focus after securing the broadcasting deals is expansion.

If the Sonics do come back in 2027-2028 then they will have to go 83-0 + 16-0 in postseason to hit 20 years without a Loss.

When do y’all think your not-losing streak will end?

How popular was the team in the 90s?

When I was in school a few years back I recall a teacher talking about how the Mariners were so beloved and the talk of the town when he was growing up, while the Seahawks were struggling - contrary to today. He didn't mention the Sonics, so that got me thinking about how they compared to the Mariners, considering that the Sonics seemed more successful on paper.

What happened to Gary Payton in the 1992 Utah series?

I noticed that the only playoff game Gary ever missed for the Sonics was game 5 of the 1992 Conference Semifinals vs Utah, in which Seattle was eliminated. In the previous game, he also only played 15 minutes. By piecing these two together, I assume he just exited the series with an injury of sorts, but I'm not sure. I tried looking up what occurred, but legitimately couldn't find anything. I know this was a young GP, and he wouldn't really blossom until the next year, but I'm still intrigued about the situation.

You'd think it's too early for an expansion tease but.....

One could blindly and ignorantly hope that's what this is. https://www.instagram.com/p/C9a7f7aSA62/?hl=en

Edit: Well, they announced that Pokemon is sponsoring this year's Rain City Showcase NBA preseason game at CPA between the Clippers and Blazers.
