It appears I was a little hasty in coming to the conclusions that I did, and I apologize for that. What I've found now is that, by looking at the "past issues" of SLOGOP's newsletters here one can see another version where Dan Dow is listed as the host as well as several versions where Debbie Arnold was listed as the host, for example this one. So it seems like the host they had for the event swapped back and forth for some reason? Also since Dan Dow is listed in the most recent newsletter on the history page he may have been the host for the event after all. Again I apologize for the confusion this has caused, I'm not out here trying to defend crazy conservatives or anything like that, I've just been trying to figure out what's -really- going on.

Hi! I’m relocating to the area at the end of the summer and I’ve heard that finding a healthcare provider is really difficult (read another thread where someone asked for recommendations). I’m starting my search for a pediatrician, but so far I’ve placed calls to multiple offices who are all closed for lunch. This is so strange to me. Are pediatricians mostly operating out of small clinics in SLO? What do you do if your child has an emergency after hours or during lunch? Any advice or information I should know while navigating this would be greatly appreciated! (I will then also need a primary care doctor for myself, but my toddler takes priority)

Been trying to get MediCal to cover a motorized wheelchair 👩‍🦼for so so so long but hasn't happened. With my illness and disability and SSI I cannot afford it unfortunately and am looking for.. any helpful resources? :) something rechargeable and easily put into a vehicle more or less This would change my life. Mobility aids are such important, essential extentions to disabled people's bodies. (Important info at the end before you comment):)

Small Shower Chair (like one of the waterproof balanced stool with a back) so I can safely sit in the bathtub to shower .. occupational therapists charge out of pocket even with CenCal and I havent been able to find a small inexpensive one at a local thrift store.

Mattress🛏️ ..Mine has had a big whole in it for years (and is the wrong for the base it is on), like a considerable hole since I got it. I have a full size box/base for a mattress to sit on and I'm all set with blankets. Mattresses are just very expensive so if anyone has ideas for me on that that would be great. SSI $$ is tiiiiiiigggghhht --- nothin extra. [I'd need to figure out how to get the mattress to me, but i'm sure i could figure somethin out:)]

For example, I was looking at Bobcat CT2025 with an attachment which was $26k, The quote ended up being $32.5k without taxes.
