I think a simple solution to the tedium of gambling over whether a pickpocket check will be successful is to make anything below 50% auto-fail and anything above auto-succeed. I'm not a modder so I have no idea how hard it would be to actually implement it.
How about a new blacksmith mod? Like instead of new skins you can fully customize your weapons and armor like on fallout 4? Like everything from the pommel up to the blade…like an iron sword crossgaurd with an ebony blade finish? Same goes for armor…I think would be a very cool feature if someone were to do that…I have no idea how to mod or I would give it a shot

I'm having a problem with nifskope on one of my computers. The render side is blank. No image at all unless I am resizing it. Then the blackness switches to render and I can see the nif and grid, but the second I stop resizing it, it goes black again. What's the deal? I did recently have to delete c++ runtimes and reinstall them.
Hi there, I've recently started playing around with BSA Extractor and NifSkope, I'm trying to find a way to export the meshes from .nif to .obj so I can display and customize them in Blender, however when importing the model none of the textures carry over? I've tried to import them separately but the mapping is all off, how can I fix this?

I think animal ears/tails/wings should be a mod. Like wolf ears and tails or bee wings and antennas maybe stinger or deer antlers and tail and stuff like that.
Maybe a way to change one eye at a time so you can do heterochromia with the eye colors you want (could be a racemenu mod)
I wanna say custom tattoos but that wouldn't be possible I don't think- (i want eye tattoos under my ocs left eye and a cat mark on her right cheek)
I would also love custom followers/marriageable people who you can customize in maybe RaceMenu and can give a personality to.
Maybe a polyamorous mod?

Hello everyone. I have a problem, I want to animate camera for my slide animation in Nifskope but I dont know how. When my character making slide, camera staying in the same place where animation started. I tried to move camera in blender and export it to Nifskope but after that error showed and camera staying in the same place where it was. I need to mention that I doing animation for New Vegas. I know that I typed in a wrong topic, but I dont know who else could help me. Because almost all animations for FNV made for first person view or for 3rd but animations were just replaced. If u could share with me any tutorials about 3rd person animation for skyrim or maybe give me links to comminity of animation modders - U would help me a lot!
Greetings, Skyrim modders. I propose the idea of handheld talismans as a mod for Skyrim. It wouldn't change the mechanics of staves, but it would provide a nice aesthetic alternative to the already existing staff magic system in Syrim. Would be nice to hear your thoughts.
I’ve heard that Skyrim mods on PS were kinda mid because of all of the limitations that Sony gives modders of the game, but it’s the console I play on and I wanna try out some mods since I just finished it.
Hello everyone I always love to RP as a bosmer, but find it hard to craft bows using immersion, as I play as a Bosmer following the green pact and doesn’t harm vegetation - so can’t chop wood. I know it mostly applies only to wood in Valenwood, but I like a harder RP. Anyone know of a mod or able to make one where you can use bones instead of logs for crafting bows? Would be much appreciated

I was hoping to see if anyone knows how to mod shouts that can play a shorten song. I was trying to have a song play when using the Storm Call shouts tho nothing is working. Any ideas?
After hours of FINALLY getting passed the 1026 error temp_behaviors\magicbehavior.txt with CAO (Cathedral Assets Optimizer). and when I finally got nemesis to launch the animations I booted up skyrim. and the game still played like vanilla version... like nothing changed. So I do a little digging to see what I did. I saw someone posted that they unchecked their mods and reinstalled those mods and nemesis. guess whats back. yup that same old dirty 1026 error from above. and now even woththe help of CAO, nemesis wont acknowledge the change CAO is trying to make.... so I'm officially lost AGAIN LOL. Oh and I'm using vortex. been working for me alot...

as the title says i broke Skyrim, i tried to uninstall play without mods, delete a redownload all the files and its still broken, can anyone help me with this issue? the menus seem to be okay except the opening menu but in game menus are normal. i was modding the game using vortex, after opening the game and realizing it was not working i purged and deleted mods, but opening the base game from steam still gave this result.
My son (13) has aspirations to work in the gaming industry. We’ve had plenty of talks about the types of jobs there are, some of the pros and cons of working in the industry, and how games are created.
I told him that the best thing he could probably do is get into modding, and we both agreed that Skyrim would be a great place to start.
I’m here to ask for any advice you guys might have that I can share with him.
Also, I’ve never built a computer before. Should we build one, or buy one? What kind of cost would we be looking at to get something that runs Creation Kit?

Hello. My computer was unintentionally reformatted. I’ve been trying to rebuild my skyrim modding setup (LE using MO2). Exact same hardware, exact same mods (and exact same mod versions). But I am suffering from constant CTD and i’ve tried everything I can think of. No 1 mod seems to be the cause, no combination seems to be the cause. I cannot figure it out. I followed STEP setting everything up and at this point I think it is beyond my skill level. I need someone with more technical knowledge to help me diagnose the problem. I’m going insane trying to figure out what is wrong.
Just a side note: I am not upgrading to SE (yet). I understand it is more stable in some ways (which has not been explained to me all that much) but everything I have is for LE. Many of the mods I want to use are LE exclusive (because they are no longer publicly available before SE existed).
I make custim slavetsts tattoos. I’m led to believe the LE ones work on SE. i will make a custom tattoo request for whoever helps me get my mod setup working as well as teach you how to make your own.
one thing I will never understand is why people would wanna put eso stuff in Skyrim.... ESO is based in the 2nd Era while Skyrim is in the early 4th era.... literally 2000 years apart.....
Is it possible to modify record flags using CommonLIBSSE-NG? I need lockpicks to be flagged unplayable for my mod, Amazing Lockpicks, and I was hoping to create patches that won't be dependent on load order or conflict with themselves.
I specifically need to change RE::TESObjectMISC::RecordFlags::kNonPlayable
After acquiring a pointer to the lockpick object using one of the following two ways:
RE::TESObjectMISC *lockpickObject = RE::TESForm::LookupByEditorID<RE::TESObjectMISC>("Lockpick");
RE::TESObjectMISC *lockpickObject = RE::TESForm::LookupByID<RE::TESObjectMISC>(0xA);
Edit: It looks like the value was stored as a bit in lockpickObject->formFlags
I was able to do a bit check and add it in:
if (!(lockpickObject->formFlags & RE::TESObjectMISC::RecordFlags::kNonPlayable)) {
lockpickObject->formFlags += RE::TESObjectMISC::RecordFlags::kNonPlayable;
}
The ability to manipulate record flags at runtime might have some good usages which aren't apparent to me at the moment, but I just thought I'd add the answer incase anyone ends up needing it. You'd be able to do similar modifications to other object types as well.
Another year same question, Is there someone who is able to transfer my ps3/PC save game to the ps4 version ? With a mod, converter or other technique ? I would really appreciate it and pay for the service. Sorry for annoying.

so when i was using fluffs Hybrid Argonians and Hybrid Khajiit i noticed the floating scars where the vanilla heads would be before they were replaced by the humanoid head. this mod aims to fix this, and its aim is pretty good seeing as i havent seen many floating scars in my game.
