Hello everyone,
I’m interested in creating and selling small info products or digital products. By day, I work as a development team lead, with expertise in various programming languages. If there’s something I don’t know, I have enough experience to learn quickly.
Right now, I’m exploring ways to make extra income by creating a digital or info product based on my knowledge. However, I may be approaching this wrong and could use my skills to create products in other areas too.
I’d appreciate any advice you have on getting started. Specifically:
Thank you very much for your help!
I hate it, but it looks like the next many years in my area will be a period of home construction. What's an easy side gig to get into? Something that I can take a course or two at a community college and get certified.
I love to shop! Let’s start there. When people ask me about an item or product I love telling them where I got it, how much and my honest review. I figured, why not do it for money? I’d love to hear from people that do. Do you review on social media? How much do you make on average a year? Who do you review for? Do you show your face or not?
Okay, so some context. I’m 24 years old and work in Atlanta. I have a job as a part time tutor at a middle school, that pays decent but gives me few hours each week. I also edit a podcast for additional money, but it’s still not enough. Any advice on ways I could make money, apart from door dashing. I’ve heard there are jobs as video/audio transcribers, haven’t had any luck finding them, but I do have a great WPM speed. Any advice would help, thanks!
Hey all!
Was probably asked before, but still...
Me and my wife inherited a house (grandma still lives there) and spent the past year renovating our apartment. We still have the ground floor with some extra space we would like to use it for something actually useful. There are 3 rooms/spaces which were formerly used as:
- garage (is still used, but its driveway is under a really weird angle so I dont put my car there most of the time, except in really bad weather),
- workshop (smaller room)
- "woodshed" (we switched to heat pump, so wood is not needed anymore)
The thing is, I am a software engineer and my wife is a project manager, so all we need for our work is a computer and a few monitors, so to use those rooms it would be csomething different than our main job. Also, we can't use them as an airbnb/garage, because we are not really nearby any special city or any landmark.
So, any idea how could we use those rooms to generate some income?
Hello! Well, I'm in my mid 30s, have a marketing degree and some experience in marketing, including plans, basic design, branding, content creation, copywriting among other skills but Ive been stuck working on entry level jobs for local advertising agencies for more than 5 years. I feel stuck so I've been thinking maybe I could work remotely as a bilingual social media manager (English-Spanish). My English level is not perfect as you can see, but I feel it's adequate for a job like this, plus, I know there's AI tools that could help me.
My goal is to make at least US$300, but right now, I'm just willing to learn. What would you think it's the best way to find clients?
Skills: Legal Business Industry specific
Area: Houston, USA
Languages: English Russian Ukrainian Conversational Spanish Almost forgotten but used to be intermediate French
Hey, so I'm 25 years old and was raised by my mom and father which were from a different generation. Now my father is almost 79 and my mom is 69. So I grew up hearing the idea that I should choose a career, join a company and stay in this company until I retire (which is what worked out for them).
I ended up choosing my own life and I'm working as developer for around 6 years already. In this time I worked for around 6 companies, and the only one I stayed for more than one year, that is the one I'm currently at. is a big consultancy firm and I work on a big client also, so there's a lot of safety. at the same time, I'm senior level, I got a promotion 2 months ago, but the raise was around 3%, besides me already performing at the senior level since day 1 (client paid for my work as a senior engineer and they're always more than happy with my work), so I'm not sure there's much place to grow financially. I'm kinda ok with it, because truly I work around 2/3 hours per day most days. on Friday/Monday it's usually less than that. it's full remote and I get to work from home and only go to the office if and when I want. (sometimes when there's something urgent or I postponed a lot, I work more hours, but usually is very low-effort)
the perks from my current job mentioned, it's a great place to be but the wage is not good, I live in Brazil and the wage is equivalent to less than $3K/month (around $34K/year). I live in a nice place but don't have too much money after paying rent, bills, debt monthly invoices and so on. After I read in a book that the solution for having low income is earning more, I'm trying to figure it out how can I earn more from side-gigs. I already made around $5K in around one year by solving public issues in exchange for bounties in open source projects. But that's still reliant on companies, and if they pivot on the project I have good domain knowledge, I found myself without this second source of income again. I'm here to seek advice about earning more.
How do you build a consistent source of income from your side hustles? It's through ads? freemium apps with premium subscriptions? selling an app for user to use forever? freelancing platforms? I'd love to know from you how you monetize from stuff.
thanks for reading and good luck with your hustles y'all :)
Hey everyone, so I'm looking for something to do as a side hustle. I'm really struggling with money right now. (I literally cant pay rent next month and I'm freaking out) can you recommend some legit side hustles that are easy to set up and navigate and there's no sign up fee? I appreciate your help 🙏
This might not be the best sub for this but I have an idea. I'm been toying with the idea of starting a pulls channel, despite that I know next to know nothing about pokemon cards. Even still I can learn and I'm very willing because all I really need is an audience.
I'm only thinking about doing this because I got hit by a car near the end of September. I broke a bone in my left wrist and haven't been able to work the low wage jobs I've been stuck at.
If I can get some good pulls, an audience, and make some good financial decisions out of this, then maybe this can work out.
As for what I'm going to open I might look into getting a surging sparks booster box first and maybe even some evolving cries.
Do you guys think it's a good alternative way to make a couple hundred each month?
I'm 22, currently unemployed and looking for a job, but wanted to try to find a way to get some money as I'm getting low.
I have video editing skills, I feel like I could do something with that but idk where to start. I have some experience with digital art as well.
I'm also willing to sell feet pics too, even if it doesn't make much. I'm kinda desperate. Looking for any ideas at all.
EDIT: I also do not have a car to use
- It generates passive income (makes money while you sleep or do other things)
- It can be done with no or low initial investment (for example, between 0 and 5000€).
- It must be able to be sold digitally, either because it is a digital product or because it is a physical product but it is easy to ship (light weight and size)
- It must be interesting and innovative, thinking about the future, the long term, trends...
- It must be something that is a solution to existing needs or demands, current or future, according to trends
- It must be up and running in 0 to 3 months
Over the summer I quit my job to start doing the exact same thing for myself.
I have been at this for 4 month solid now and am making almost double of what I made before BUT I do work about twenty more hours per week now.
Life is too short to wonder if you should try , do it . I saved about a year of expenses and knew I was going to be moving in with an old family member to help them out so my rent/ bills were going down too so I figured this was the time to try.
Make a plan and work , work , work folks. You can do this if you plan and work hard.
Cheers and happy weekend !
Does enyone makes money by selling hot pics of yourself as a man? Its easy for females but i wanna know if there is a way for that?
At what point would you consider something a profitable side hustle rather than a hobby or project? $100/month? $1,000? Do you consider time spent in that definition?
I always hated having to update code in order to make banner notifying customers of new feature or outage and if a dev wasn’t around then no one else can do it. I built a tool that you can create a banner and form such as contact form Embed a piece of code onto your site and control the message or content at any point. Turn on or off even or schedule a date range to show it. For the forms we handle bots and handle form submissions for you as well. Interested in thoughts

I am currently using several different survey sites and was curious if there is a good place to post the referral urls without getting banned?
I joined Prolific 5 days ago and it started off great. I made like $70, then no new surveys. Anyone aware of other survey sites that pay just as good? I’m part of a bunch but Prolific seems to be the leader by a mile…
Ok, I know this sounds agressive and cocky, but I’m a talented editor who really wants to make some money. Everyone says “post on Fiverr!” But whenever I do I NEVER get any opportunities. Anyone know some reasons why?!
I need some ways to make cash on the side of my my other businesses and work. Just some extra.
Northern Europe. No car. No garage.
I can use computer properly. I can hustle. I can walk and run etc. I have some starting capital.
I'm not starting dropshipping.
All in the tittle.
Thanks guys!
The money I'm making from Uber Eats has gotten pretty pathetic but I still do it because I have no other ideas for what I can do on my off days? My main job is as a server but there are certain days of the week where working would be a complete waste of time, so that wouldn't be a better option either.
I recently decided to start catering for small events of no more than 100 people. I got my first event and it was for 75 people. I collected a deposit for 60% of the total cost so that I could cover expenses and I told the customer after the event is over we receive what's left of the balance. Well when event was over the dude that contracted us for the event was a bit drunk. He only paid 20% of the 40% that remained. I sent him a text to remind him there was still a balance remaining. I haven't heard back from him and I'm starting to get a bit irritated. I want to keep it as professional as possible but I want to be firm in the future to prevent this from happening.
How should I approach him now? I mean it's been 3 days since the event and he still owes 20% of the total. I got my helpers paid so I'm not worried about that but I'm pretty much out my takehome after expenses.
If you just had your car and you wanted to do this side hustle what places would you go to find metal that adds up in weight?
Hello all. I’m a BIA at a bank and most of my days are spent stretching a few hours of work into 8. Because of this I spend a lot of time on my phone. With the little work and constantly being on my phone I can tell I am going crazy because I’m not utilizing my time properly. With that being said I am looking for a way to start earning a few hundred bucks a week doing something on my phone while I am at work. I did the prolific survey and didn’t have much success getting meaningful surveys. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I need a way to make $300 (ideally at least $500) a month while I'm in CDL school. I'm not really sure what part time jobs I could get because due to school I won't be available Mon-Thursday and most part time jobs want open availability. I also live in the shithole state of Illinois so most of the go to sidehustle gigs are locked behind paying the government or education institutions money. I can't really do fast food or retail, I have problems with my feet and back that make standing for extended periods of time excruciatingly painful. I don't have any money left over to spend right now so anything with an start up cost is out of the question.
My main experience and skill set is 4 years driving a cargo van, and 4 years as an I.T. Manager before that.
Any suggestions?
I'm 15, and want to make extra cash. Any good suggestions? Don't say tiktok page
Right now I’m using xfinity Wi-Fi and get by just fine. I know If I were to get a work from job I would need better internet.
I know work from home jobs are rare but I need surgery and willing to work for like 15 an hour right now.
Anybody know any companies hiring that doesn’t require legit high speed internet until I have the job?
I dedicated four months to developing an website (and over 8 Months to learn coding) finally launched a 2 months ago. Since then, it's been generated about $150.
I built a tool to help website owners increase their conversion and engagement rates. Some people say i wasted my time but in my opinion my learnings and the feedback from my customers is worth way more then the money i made so far.
I faced countless challenges and learned invaluable lessons along the way, from market research to user engagement strategies to free Marketing, Social media and coding...
If you’re curious about my experience, what kept me motivated, or any specific aspects of development, feel free to ask!
I’m here to share my journey.
EDIT1: Thanks for over 200 Upvotes i really enjoy answering all your questions.
