Sidehugging of a Christian nature
MISSION STATEMENT
Though this is a "circlejerk" subreddit, the term 'circlejerk' is sexual in nature and thus offends the Lord. Instead, we shall use the term 'Sidehug' or 'Sidehugs' to describe the nature of self-affirmation in this subreddit in a non-sexual, gender-neutral way. Yay!
Mod's Commands
Post anything that self-affirms us/makes light of/pokes fun at /r/christianity!
Never link to other subreddits (known as cross-posting) including NP links, do not boast of vote brigading, or vote manipulation. If you do this you will be cast out of the promised land of Sidehugs.
If making a [meta] post, please use the [meta] tag at the start of your post. These posts should not target a specific user. Use these posts to discuss drama, quality stupidity, and shenanigans in /r/christianity!
Atheists are welcome but this is a subreddit of the Lord and it will be respected as such. Any anti-God posts shall be removed. THIS SUBREDDIT IS DEDICATED TO THE LOVE OF CHRIST AND WE WILL BAN YOU TO PROVE IT.
The moderator team in /r/sidehugs will not police content. Humor can be a touchy subject at times, so we will continue to trust the community to tell us what true Christian hilarity looks like with blessings of upvotes and sidehugs to all who make them smile!

"It's the intensification, it's getting worse, but like, it's our fault?"
"Technically it was we, humanity who messed up this world"
"But like, I just wanted to stay home and use all my stuff, I wash my hands, I'm not gulty of this, I just want to stay home and use my stuff"
"Bro, the bible literally says everyone is guilty"
"I know bro (crying emoji), but i'm not guilty of this mess, I just did 1,000 sins, for the state of the world, I have no fault"
"everyone is GUILTY (crying emoji)"

He is our Savior. I rebuke all apostate Brits with their heretical spelling.
My brother (let us call him Abel) is a keeper of sheep, but I'm a tiller of the ground. Now I brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. The smoke of Abel's offering rose straight up, but the smoke from my offering lingered on the ground. Now my countenance is fallen, what must I do?
Should I provide the Lord with an improved offering?? Or should I LURE ABEL TO THE FIELD AND F@#!&@!#& SLAY HIM!!!

"Well, there's really nothing to say yet, but we have to be on the air, because you all want to watch the news, so here we are. Over to you, Deb."
"That's right, Bob. Honestly, nothing to say yet, we're all just waiting for news. Back to you, Bob."
"That's right, Deb. Basically, we don't know shit. Back to you, Deb."
"Not a damn thing. Back to YOU, Bob."
Imagine.
Melchizedek. Once a figure veiled in mystery, mentioned only briefly in Genesis, Psalms, and Hebrews, yet holding profound significance for the priesthood, kingship, and covenant traditions in the Hebrew Bible. This figure—who appears without origin, genealogy, or end—should become the centerpiece of OT studies today.
Although Melchizedek is A) often overlooked compared to major patriarchs and prophets, and B) rarely the focus outside specialized studies on biblical priesthood, we should bring him to the forefront.
Exploring Melchizedek is not only a way to uncover the ancient connections between kingship and priesthood but also to delve into deeper theological symbolism. His story provides a bridge between the Old and New Testaments, linking the covenantal themes in both. Melchizedek studies can be casual or highly formal: we can explore his mention in ancient Jewish texts and traditions, his role in the Dead Sea Scrolls, and his reinterpretation in early Christian writings. There’s a depth here that could spread to every corner of biblical scholarship. Imagine—Melchizedek for every major theme: covenant, kingship, sacrifice, eternity.

I mean really, just two? What kind of lazy, entitled, handout seeking “servant” can serve only a couple of masters?? Work harder, you should serve as many as you possibly can, sinner!
If you’re stuck serving 2 or fewer masters, don’t worry, you can take baby steps towards serving more by starting off with 3 instead! I’ve found that serving the following three are an excellent way to guide good, faithful Christians to sound discernment of the Will Of The Father.
The Lord Jesus Christ, MY Savior and Lord who DIED for MY sins so I may believe and live forever.
Money, literally makes the Earth rotate. You cannot find a more powerful master than this.
The flag of the greatest country there was, is, or ever will be, the only nation bold enough to declare itself one nation under GOD. 🇺🇸
God bless you all, my brothers and sisters.
Or does this bar have a late night trading licence?
Do we have the signs of the apocalypse?
We already have wars, and rumors of wars, many have come falsely on the name of Christ, nation against nation, thecnically 2 times, what is going on with this world?
Oh, it's just humans!
