So I love OoT enough that I felt it totally necessary to write in my own third part to the Hero of Time's story – and my brother (https://www.reddit.com/user/JaronRMJohnson) and I have been using it as a platform to analyze and understand Zelda better in an article series on withaterriblefate.com known as the Hero of Time Project. The deal I worked out with my editor is as long as I ANALYZE THE SHIT out of Legend of Zelda, I get to publish my fan-fiction. Look out world, here comes some wish fulfillment ;). Granted we're huge shitlords about it, we're very aware that what we've written is a fan-fiction and its probably not going to connect with everyone. We even took our shitlording style to Boston for PAX East where we did a lecture on fanfiction as a concept. Its a really cool series to be working on, and as facetiously or as seriously as you want to take it, it is there for you
