My golf partner and I will be flying into Seattle 4/18 and heading up to Sequim for a golf tournament. Hanging out / competing in a golf tournament and heading out on that next Monday morning. Any tips / must haves for some in town for the 4/20 weekend? Any and all advise is appreciated.

How has your experience been? Any major issues to be aware of?

I've been contemplating renting a stump grinder this spring because our property has somewhere around 20 stumps on it, and my parents just told me DK was out of business when I told them that I wanted to rent one soon, I was informed they just up and closed shop.

That being said, I've been seeing more small billboards up about Robust Rentals. Maybe it got absorbed?

All the posts here are so old! I am under the impression that Sequim has one of the easiest access to forest and trails. (I may be confused. I’m looking at so many places right now) I’m retired, selling my Brooklyn, NYC apartment and want to buy a house. The cost of living here is way over my head. Very few places have as high a COL as we do here. But also, I was born here. Have traveled a lot. Wanted to move someplace green: I love hiking, camping, big trees When I was little and my family would go to “the country” for vacations? I would cry as soon as we hit the city. My career got me stuck here.
I’m sick of wailing sirens, ambulances, fire trucks. Crowds the minute you hit the streets, city parks, every inch covered with human beings. You can barely see the grass anymore. I do love the creative community here. I’m guessing there aren’t any poetry slam venues or open mikes for that? Curious if there’s any music scene to speak of. If it’s walkable at all, etc. Please just tell me about your home. It seems like a lovely place to live. I know any place I live I won’t be able to check all the boxes.

Recently moved to the peninsula from Bellingham and my wife gets every bit of her dopamine from the month of October and associated fall activities. Where are the good pumpkin patches out here we can go to between port angeles, Sequim and port Townsend? We live by Agnew and they have a cool little one but hoping to venture out more.

Smoky Sequim yesterday

Hello Sequim! Your town is beautiful. We were passing through on our way Home to Oregon, and I think we have a failed flexplate on our transmission that is clanking loudly. We were gonna call a mechanic but it looks like we will have to wait until Monday to even talk to one. If any mechanics on here want to make some extra money or if anyone knows someone who can help please let me know. We are stuck sleeping in Walmart parking lot until we get repaired so this is urgent. Thank you all for having us in your awesome home!
