Looking for info/reviews of Solei’l or Pronto Scooters

Living in Honolulu and it’s time to up my travel game from Bus and walking. Have looked at two shops so far and really like the Solei’l SS but can find absolutely no information about it on the internet/youtube. Does anyone know if it is a solid brand? I do like the digital dashboard and security system and am leaning that way $1800 new. Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Best curled exhaust for 50cc 2stroke Yamaha BWS?

I've been looking into exhausts for my BWS, and I've been thinking about getting a Yasuni Z 50cc exhaust but I have mixed feelings about it. Any suggestions?

Just bought a used 2022 Lifan LF150T-12C and have some questions

Im not in a place where ordering parts, and returning parts, is at all simple. This moped is quite used, and has a custom welded muffler attached by the previous owner. Im looking for parts that are compatible with this moped on EBay, but every seller I find is not available for questions. Anyone familiar with this particular moped able to point me in the right direction as far as compatible parts for similar brands?

Here is the muffler I was looking at -

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185974115864

Of course, Ebay doesn't list Lifan as a brand of scooter/cycle. Any help is appreciated!

Best 50cc moped to buy?

My height is about 185cm, weight 68-69kg. I am 16 (in my country you can ride a 50cc at 15 years old with a AM license, Lithuania) i've had experience riding a 125cc 4 stroke dirt bike since i 14 years old. Mostly around neighborhood, or offroad on somewhere. I know the hang of it. So it won't be a problem riding a 50cc. But i do want to buy now a street legal 50cc so i can go to my high school since i live really far away from it and my parents have to take my other 2 siblings and me to different schools, not very reliable. I figured a 50cc would be great to ride to my high school, somewhere else etc. on my own. Preferably would be a reliable one, many mod choices. Budget around 1500€?

Rear racks for 2011 Honda Today 50

As the title suggests I've been looking for a rear rack for my Honda Today 50 with no luck. I'd even consider buying a luggage rack for another scooter as long as it fits my Honda Today. Any suggestions guys?

Small Scoot Big Light

Shoving a car projector headlight to a tiny scooter. 55watt bulb.
Let's see where and when thing will go wrong after this....

Will it blind oncoming traffic ? Hell no, it was pulled straight out of a car, so it is ECE or something approved.

Help clutch removal

I'm trying to remove the clutch on my 150cc GY6 scooter. The engine's brand new. I have tried everything to get this bolt off, I've used my impact on, I've even tried standing on my ratchet, not even 270 lb is making a budge. I even tried PB blaster for boat removal spray and nothing's working. Even tried to do a breaker bar and I'm getting nowhere.

Xmax front end on 1987 Riva 200

The front forks and brakes are in need of replacement on my Riva 200. I can’t find parts anymore for the Riva. Looking at Xmax parts on eBay made me think maybe I can swap the entire front handle bars, forks, brakes, and wheel from a Xmax. I’ve built a lot of motorcycles but always using the parts designed for the bike. My friend owns a machine shop so I think I could make it work. Reaching out to see if someone has already done something similar.

weird spark plug issue

I'm hoping someone can tell me a simple solution to this one. I've got a Lance cabo 200i I checked the spark and it had spark BUT it only sparked once and that was when I first pushed the start button. If I held down the start button it wouldn't continue to spark. So it sparks once initially and no more, any ideas on that?

Honda PCX 160 vs NC700

I am wondering what I should get for my first bike. I will be taking the MSF course in about 2 weeks. I’ve road on a Kawasaki z125 and Honda rebel to prepare for the MSF course. I am wanting something a little larger to ride 2 up with my girlfriend. The main reason why I am wanting a bike is to save on gas as I ride to work. I chose these two due to storage size and MPG. I won’t be ridding on the interstate much, but it would be nice to be able to if I wanted to. My main concern with the NC700 is just the weight, it’s roughly 475 pounds and didn’t know if this is too heavy to start with. Which of these two do you all think is better, and what do those who have ridden them think about the bikes?

NOTE: I am 6 foot, 180 pounds. I live in America

Yamaha Xmax mirrors

Hello!

My husband just recently upgraded to an Xmax (2024), and had discovered that the mirrors aren't long enough. They work great - if you want to look at your side/shoulder - but not so good for actually seeing anyone/thing behind you.

Any recommendations for decent quality mirrors that extend a bit further out? Or, if new mirrors aren't an option, maybe something we could use as extenders?

(I'm extra motivated... I 'inherited' his GTS 300, which I LOVE to ride. if he can't get the mirrors working, he'll make me ride the xmax, and take the GTS back!!!)

Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with this thing?

It’s been sitting broken down all winter. It was broken down and wouldn’t start at all. Since then I’ve replaced the carburetor, battery, starter solenoid, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, variator, and drive train belt.

The bike now starts but the rpm fluctuates when idling, most of the time it cuts off if I engage the throttle and there’s white smoke coming from the exhaust. Bike is a “leikie super hornet” it has a 150cc gy6 engine clone.

This is my first scooter/ bike and don’t really have the mechanical experience to fix this on my own so I’d really appreciate any advice anyone has that could help me get this running smoothly again!

Centrifugal clutch late engagement?

I'm trying to help fix my buddy's Honda Airblade 150 transmission. When I get on the gas at low speed, the clutch seems to engage quite late, it feels like slipping and not much is getting to the wheel until the bikes hits 30km/h where the the clutch seems to engage fully and then I get lunged foward by all the momentum.

So which parts of the transmission should I swap out to fix the problem? I'm thinking about swapping just the clutch assembly out for a 3rd party kit based on my intuition but I don't have the best understanding how CVT work. The bike has 14.000km on it just for reference.

Sym vs Keeway (Benelli)

Hello guys.

I'm looking for my first MC/scooter and I've found 2 specific ones and I can't decide, hopefully you can point me in the right direction.

Option 1: A Sym GTS 250 from 2007 with 30.000 km on it. Comes with helmet box attached, no cosmetic errors and only one owner. Has been maintenanced regularly.

Option 2: A Keeway Silverblade 250 (I believe it's called Benelli zaffaran aswell) 2015 with 4100km only. Also helmet box attached and no scratches. It says it has a "Dr Pulley Variator" whatever that means.

I know how to do oil change, basic maintenance, I know ly way around some tools and generally have always been fixing my own 50cc scooters when I was younger. I would love to do as much maintenance and service myself as possible.

I do not know the differences between these other than there is a few hp advantage to the Sym, but I think it weighs alot more?

I'm 183cm/ 110kg, and I would drive Countryroads/City/Highway about 60/30/10% of the time.

It's meant as a daily driver to and from work (under 10km), but I would like to be able to carry someone on the back once in a while.

I think I remembered it all.

Setup

Hey, can you guys rate my setup? No idea on hp yet, I will dyno it during the summer. Yamaha aerox 50cc 2008.

Ported 70cc Airsal, Ported engine block, Lightened flywheel, Malossi MHR VL12 reeds, TPR racing variator, Stage6 24mm PWK, Stage6 mk2 intake manifold, Stage6 mk1 Pro Replica exhaust, Stock clutch, Stock clutch bell, Stock crankshaft.

Stage6 torque control mk2 clutch is being shipped to my house right now alongside Stage6 r/t 433g clutch bell. Any improvements on how to push more power out? Exhaust will be changed to r1200 or yasuni c16 before the dyno run. Variator isn’t adjusted yet so I can’t tell the specifics of it.
