im thinking of buying a core st2 complete and its height is 95cm and im 165 cm tall of about 5 foot 5 is this a good scooter for me?
Fat shaming my new Silverwing with some 3D printed flair. Wat, it's true- the porker is 550lbs all up, but this pig does indeed fly when you twist the throttle...
As the title states, for the past few weeks every time I stop at a light or slow down, my scooter then really struggles to accelerate. Also, in general now, it is not able to speed up like it’s used to in the past. When I turn the handle it starts off with a low almost grumble-like noise before it finally is able to rev up.
It sounds like an issue is coming from the engine in the back. I just had a 2,400 tune-up at my local scooter store and they replaced the air filter, spark plug, and did general maintenance, so I’m not sure what the issue could be, but it’s a big nuisance when I’m trying to turn and I’ve almost lost balance a few times because of it. Any ideas?
EDIT: It’s a 2019 Genuine Buddy 50cc with 2,400 miles on it.
Here we have my beloved 2016 BV350, roughly 6k miles only and going strong.
Lately I discovered what I believe to be slow oil leak under the vicinity of the oil filter, and the drip collects on the underside and comes down more or less on center with the bike. Photos indicate the drip relative to the bike on the cardboard, and then a few shots on the underside where I see oil but can't determine where it's coming from.
Would love some help!
Can someone please ELI5 scooter pricing? New PCX $4400 plus $900 destination. 1-3 years used $4400. 10 years old or 40k miles $2500. Do they really hold their value that much? I thought 40k miles was their useful life. What price point should I be shopping for? I'm looking for an urban beater.
I'm 6'4" with about a 34" inseam and live in the US so the midsize Hondas aren't available. Which 300ish size scooter seems to be most comfortable for guys who struggle with legroom?
So today, I am buying my first scooter, used, and wanted some advice, It is a used Viking 150 with a new GY6 motor installed with 3 miles. I plan to use this to commute in the city.
I have already picked out a leg warmer I like but need advice on additional things: I live in a 2nd floor apartment so it must be parked outside. Things I need, or think I need are:
Good helmet but nothing too constricting (don't wanna mess up the hair too much, lol)
SECURITY - I want to do all I can to deter thieves and thought I could find the best advise here.
Accessories that would be worth it. There is not windshield and was wondering if one could be added. Plus, the back is just a luggage type rack, no locking container.
Cup/cell phone holder, what have you found that works best?
Please keep in mind I am very new to this so won't know alot of the terminology you use.
Thanks in advance

I’ve got a zip 50 2t it had a split in the fuel line I replaced it and now it won’t start at all
Is it normal for a new yasuni z exhaust to be spiting out drops of liquid. Can it be that i just put to much oil in the mixture? Thanks for any replies.
I’m pressing down on the seat as hard as I can but it won’t lock.
Currently using 1500rpm spring with 20g x3 17g x3. No acceleration and no top speed. Whats the recommended weight of the rollers to overall improve pick up and top speed from stock? Do i need to change back to original spring?
For the love of God can someone please tell me how to access the headlights on this nitro 150cc scooter?
Hey all, I am trying to figure out what box I can put on my Nmax155's rack.
I have put the original rack but it says the weight limit is 3kg but is that really the load limit? I am a bit confused as most of the boxes I've seen are around the weight limit or even exceed it.
The function I'm looking to have for the box is to store my full helmet on rainy days and to pack some stuff for weekend trips.
Anyone has any experience with this matter or recommendations on rack boxes?
I have been struggling all month to repair the exhaust system on my scooter. I spent a TON of money on a well made exhaust just for it to not fit at all, and I am desperately in need of a reliable vehicle to get to work and back 5 mins away. I ended up throwing the first exhaust pipe back on with no usable muffler at this current point in time. My truck and motorcycle decided to have issues simultaneously, and I'm stuck with no other options. Will running just the downpipe with an upjetted carb for a few minutes a day cause any problems over the course of a few days/weeks while I fix everything or is it a bad idea altogether?
I have a shitty little moped i got from my grandmother and it's a blast, we've modified it. Covered it in beer stickers and break and fix it all the time. My question is it's branded as a 150cc. In oklahoma that requires it to be registered. So does anypart of the engine or anywhere say below that? Because I know they round up so if it is not truly 150 I don't need to do all that. Hopefully someone has an answer. I'm gonna look tommorow but kind curious if anyone knows and has a location
So long story short i bought a new '22 Honda PCX and rode it for about a year, during which, after some winter commuting thru melted snow and all the salt they spray here, the exhaust turned this reddish dark color, almost like it rusted. I dont think it was rust (?), maybe it had something to do with the salt or some other chemicals? Or maybe the water itself was the problem?
In any case, i foolishly sold the scooter and because i missed it so much and i fell in love with how economical, practical and quick to get around with it was, i recently bought a new '24 model.
Winter and the rainy season is almost here and the main concern i have is how do i not let the same thing happen to the exhaust again. I live in an apartment so i do not have the luxury of a garage or a driveway with a hose to spray it down every day and im sure i'll ride it thru snow and rain and plenty of it.
Are there any special products i could apply or should i look for some of that special heat wrap insulation people put on exhausts? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
Had to create a new post for the updated picture
These are 80lb gas struts. I think they might be a little overpowered. I'm going to try 60lb next because I do want the seat to open on its own when I turn the key...
I ran the crab without the diaphragm and it felt faster some how, and I ran it for about 2 hours like that and it felt really good how is this working?
So i have a piaggio typhoon 1996 70cc with a 21mm carb with a yasuni z exhaust. I switched the stock airbox back on it since the open sponge filter is way to loud for my preference, and now it wont run.
I played with the idle and air screw for some time and this is the best i can get it.
Also before i switched back i switched the main jet to a size 125 from size 100.
Any help appriciated
