I recently had the pleasure of using my TMAX scooter, and it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. With its sleek design and powerful performance, this scooter made my daily commute not only efficient but also enjoyable. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish scooter, I highly recommend checking out the TMAX at Hiley Rider. It’s an investment in adventure and convenience that I’m certain you won’t regret!
So, I have a Razor Hovertrax from when they first came out (maybe 7-8 years?). Thing is that I found it just now, but when I plugged it in all the lights (red, yellow, and green) turned on which would mean it’s completely charged. So, I tried turning it on and it made the little sound, but the lights didn’t turn on and it also did not calibrate itself. I’m thinking the battery’s faulty but I’m not really sure. Any other guesses as to why it’s not working?
I have a Hover 1 eclipse that someone else threw out a while back and it was working for a bit, but then the battery stopped working right. Then, a while later(months), it worked again for a week. Than, it stoped working. Then another 10 months later, it worked again for a day, but then after going over some bumps on the ground with it in a gokart seat attachment, it stopped working. It still turns on, it still detects when someone is stepping on it, but the motors won't activate. This is a new issue, not related to the old battery issues. The indicator light is flashing red, with no particular number of flashes. In the app, which it can connect to, there is a diagnostics page, and two things are showing as faulty. Those two things that the app says are "Fault" instead of "OK", are " Static Current(Other Side) " and " Phase Circut of Motor ". Is there any way to fix this without needing new parts? Calibrating does nothing.
So my swagatron hoverboard from 5 years ago (barely used) looked in good condition for sale so i charged it and tested it, i rode it around and noticed a rotten egg smell so i check my fridge for rotten eggs, there are none untill i get back on the hoverboard i ride it and i hear a struggling motor sound so i smell the hoverboard and guess where the smell was coming from, yeah the wheel/battery so i tossed it in my yard until i can find a safe way to dispose it anything im missing or am i just freaking out
I have an original segway emoped c80 charger. My bike got stolen so I can’t use it anymore just pay the shipping & handling fees & give me $50 and it’s yours.
Charger LED is Green when unconnected, but when connected to segway to chargw, the LED turns OFF and won't charge.
Not many discussions about this online apart from faulty motherboard, anyone know what specifically could be causing this issue?
I have a voltage meter but not sure what to be testing.
I am trying to fix a hoverboard (Sisigard HY-A02 6.5"). It was acting flaky and recalibration didn't help so I took it apart. Unfortunately, when I disconnected the battery from one side, the hot wire touched one of the LED terminals and sparked. I am assuming I failed the LED at a minimum if not the whole board. The board has the LEDs and the microprocessor and the power FETs all in one board. The board has L2C36VAC on it. The board has "SUM=008F76B7" printed on it. Does this mean that a replacement board wouldn't work because of the checksum? Any ideas where to get replacement boards or the LEDs?
Hi guys!
Just got a Hover1 Ranger Pro (Or Charger) model. The board turns on, and I can get on it for a little bit. It's my first board so I am still learning how to use it, but if I wobble on it, it automatically turns off and pressing the button does not turn it on. I have to plug it in the wall with the charger, then press the power button. Only then will it turn on.
Is this a defect or a known security safeguard? How do I turn a board back on without having to plug it in with the wall charger??
Hi all,
I just found an old Segway Ninebot MiniPro at the thrift, the battery appears to not be accepting a charge.
I know this is an old subreddit, but does anyone know if something like https://www.amazon.com/SSCYHT-Lithium-Battery-4400mAh-4400mah/dp/B09BB46RB4 would work as a replacement? I am trying to find the best bang for my buck. Just trying to get this working again to mess around on.
Thank you!
So I work at a mall and we have segways usually we don’t have issues but someone dropped the controller and now whenever I press and hold the Power/Standby button it doesn’t turn on, battery is brand new, it still shows the display on the top part but I think the issue is the button itself anyone have a fix?
and it says this i dont know if this is a problem Battery charging limit voltage: 45
Hey all, I'm looking to buy a hoverboard, but my concern is the battery life, I will post a link to the board I am wanting to get, I mainly want to use it to get around my area, maybe go to the beach or mall, which is less than 5km away from me. I really want a board that has a long lasting battery and good distance. Let me know what you think.
Check this out on takealot: 8.5 Hummer Off-Road Hoverboard Smart Balancing Wheel https://www.takealot.com/8-5-hummer-off-road-hoverboard-smart-balancing-wheel/PLID70479924
Battery is in stable condition… very unusual, when I lay it on its back the unit will turn on and once I put it upright, it shuts back off… they only thing I can think what could be the problem is either the main board or the center console board… has anyone came across this issue??? Any input would be greatly appreciated… thanks in advance
I have a 3 mile commute and was wondering if this distance is too long for a comfortable ride. I am considering a budget 6mph hoverboard.
Guys I bought a hoverboard for my son for Xmas. He's 5 and 35lbs and I didn't realize the vibration issue when under 44lbs. I've tried shimming and raising the plunger but holy shit is it a hassle. Is there a board that is great and works for kids under 44lbs or am I just going to have this issue with all of them?
Does anybody have any experience with this?
More 4 motion . com came to my rescue. Our segways are 3 years old and I ride almost daily and my
54.8 236W/h 4300 decided to retire. It isn't dead, it blinks 2 long and 4 short and shows full battery.
What that means is I may shut off at any time and faceplant you forward.... do not trust me! Big shout out and thank you to More4Motion.com
Can anyone identify the hoverboard brand? Does it have a lithium battery? The wheels indicate 36V. What charger should I buy. (NOTE: It was a hand me down .. so no additional info.
I have seen this article about funkyduck self balancing hoverboard and its all praise for it. is it worth buying have anyone tried it?
Hey guys my cousin has a hoverboard that she rides. However one of the wheels is messed up. When she rides it the wheel on the side of the charging port kind of jerks almost as if she is riding it on a bumpy surface even though she's on a flat surface. Anyone know how to fix it so I can help her?
One of the wheels stopped working, the right one would world, but not the left. Then I would turn it off and on again then the right one would work, but the left one would fail. And I couldn't stop it, I had no control over it, then it would just turn off after 5-10 seconds. Any help to why it won't work?
I have the Voyager HoverBeats (Green) hoverboard. I got it for Christmas... yay!
Okay... so I am a little bit over the weight limit. I am 187 lbs, and the board supports the max of 175 lbs (though I think 220 is the max). It still goes pretty fast, I'd say 7 - 8 mph. Okay now into the juicy shtuffs.
Whenever I ride it, it looks like that there is visible CAMBER on the wheels. Seeing the wheels bend inwards makes me anxious. But on the box, it shows someone riding the board and the wheels also flex inwards, but I am still a little bit skeptical.
Also the board seems to "flex" in the middle where the two halves meet. Sometimes I wiggle the midsection up and down, and there seems to be an unhealthy amount of play in that joint. Also makes me anxious. But the pin in the middle broke a little while ago, so I think that could be causing the problems.
Also if I lean too far forward the board seems to go completely limp and fails to catch up with me, resulting in me launching off of the board and running into the future, or falling flat on my face and eating the ground. I also found out how to make the board freak out and shake all over the place!
Overall, really nice hoverboard, just that it has a few.... flaws....
Cannot seem to find a battery to replace the one in a Swagtron t881. The battery in it is a Swagtron branded NT12V-3.0AH lead acid. I can find one that is close, a Duracell 12V-2.9AH, but while it is close in size, it is a bit fatter, so I can't use the hold down strap. The Swagtron site doesn't have it...and I haven't gotten a reply to my email to them. Thoughts?
Update 1: Replaced it with the Duracell. Link below. Several weeks later, all working well. Can't compare to an original battery, as I never had one that worked!
Update 2: I received this email from Swagtron:
"We can place an order for T881 12V battery. Its of $19.99. But, unfortunately, at this moment, we are running out of stock for it. We are expecting the battery to be back in stock soon. However we don't have an ETA as of now. We request you to check it with us after some days. Thank you for understanding."
Is this a bug? or just part of the design? It has black foot pedals that are pressed down by the cover/cart so i guess it thinks someone is on it at all times and wont turn off. Should i bring it back to walmart and buy a different type or is this common?
I recently bought a hoverboard from someone that was supposed to be “rgb LEDS Lamborghini style 8 inch tires with speakers on them” for 400$ then when I powered it on nothing happened so I plugged it in only to see the it only boots up when it is charging, the charger always says it is full charge, and when it does power own while charging it shows a steady yellow light in the center but when I stand on it the yellow turns red, it starts beeping and doesn’t work Any help is greatly appreciated thanks
