Leading all day then let Port snatch the win and cost us a home final. Ugggggggh
I'm just going to tee off here because it really stands out when we're giving away so many frees.
I'm not sure what the cause is, but the camera work leaves a lot to be desired.
Replays that cover the live action, random close ups of Z grade celebrities (looking your way, Flemo), no replay of important moments, weird angles and close ups of odd angles.
Doing my head in.
Holds, pushes, throws, zero paid. AFLW umpring needs a royal commission.
What's the likelihood of us drafting Sam, His form is Amazing atm, I'm aware he's not in this year's draft, but what about next year's ones, I also want to hear your opinion, if you could draft Sam, would you?
Any delisted free agents you reckon Richmond should have a look at?
Personally I wouldn’t mind Tomlinson just for a little depth down back. Wouldn’t see the harm in Parfitt either
With the recent changes at the club, Ross and Ralphsmith have made the front page 💪
We cannot miss finals, however where we end up is still highly variable. We have a massive challenge before finals in the Hawks which will be a good opportunity to see what works.
Assuming worst case we lose badly to the hawks it seems fairly likely we will end up in the bottom half of the 8.
Essendon should beat the blues but are unlikely to make up percentage on us (they have to win by 30+ and we have to lose by 100+). Port are likely to beat GWS so will beat us on points but their percentage is not massive.
The likeliest outcome to me is an away final against Port. Which as an Adelaide based Tiger i'm not unhappy about. If we want a home final we have to win well but also hope for other results.
Either way, a great turn around by the girls from last year.
Half time and we're lucky we aren't behind. Letting the Dons have way too much space and butchering the ball when we have it.
Great goals by KB, Yasir and Sheerin all the same.
With a couple of big names leaving, there should be room in the salary cap. I may have lost a yard or two, but I have got my own boots.
Would you trade for pick 2? If so, what would you consider a fair trade for both sides?
I reckon 6&18 if we go by what west coast got, but more realistically it would be something like 6&11
No changes from last weeks team.
We've been pretty lucky with injuries in the W so far this season (touch wood), especially compared to other teams. When Brennan went down last week I worried we were starting to lose our fitness edge. This is a great relief, even if she ultimately misses this week she probably won't be far off.
A special shout out to the regulars, the arm chair experts, the passionate punters, the analysts and the community leaders during the tough times and and keeping the Richmond Community engaged. GO TIGERS!

Hi guys,
Selling this if anyone is interested, or knows of anyone who is. Located in Melbourne.
Feel free to message :)
Assuming hypothetically we get pick 2 from North for our 6&11 or something - which combo would you choose with picks 1&2?
Come what may with the list changes and the events that led up to them, it'll be time to tell what's bared fruit and what's the rotten apple.
The losses. The losses may not actually be considered a bad thing but still a loss to the club itself.
The retirement/departure from the club from Dusty, Grimes, Pickett and Naismith.
We have to admit, this year was absolutely not their best years or maybe not even considered their serviceable years. We didn't even really know their last game was even played when it did but they all still got a deserving send off and I think we all appreciate the huge effort they gave.
The trades from Fridge, Rioli, Baker and Bolton.
all truly huge players and role players for the club, that's alot of talent that walked out of those doors and really can't write that without any of them, 3 flags might not have been in our grasp. Thankfully the picks are delivered, hopefully we can choose wisely.
Losses at the Office.
Vale Chris Toce.
Absolutely shattered for the bloke and his family. I don't extensively know how he operated at the Saints but I liked his mid season draft of Blight and Gray. I really hope something can be worked out there with those two, especially if Blight can polish up his kicks to team mates, had some shockers but I like his marking and placement. Gray had done pretty well in the VFL for us with what little time.
Lamberts departure.
Absolutely excellent player and coach. It sucks but I really enjoyed having that bloke with us.
The departure of Gale.
what an absolute leader and administrator. Gave a promise and delivered more than enough on it, really deserves being in our hall of fame.
Luke Meehan.
though it sucks to can people and he did serve our club for 12 years in strength and conditioning, it had to happen. We had a crisis this year on the injury front and I'm glad Richmond followed through with the hard choices.
The Camel
man fuck that guy. Don't ever come back
What can be considered Good.
The Draft Picks.
what are we up to now? 7 first round draft picks? Absolutely vital for us and we would have been even more of a laughing stock this year if we didn't try to get the Lions share. Here be dragons, we'll see what we get. I think Heartly has done great things to organise our draft hand
Steve Morris appointed Assistant Coach
How good is this guy? Love his breakdowns of play and faith in players, really works well at developing and promoting young players to get the most of them. Honest to a fault and we got to keep him around before he got poached.
The appointment of Ben Serpell as new High Performance manager.
it's yet to be seen on our end but he seems to have done an excellent job at Geelong and his resume looks absolutely stacked. I'd say we got very lucky.
The appointment of Shane Dunne, our new CEO.
yet to be seen obviously but with the new pick ups, overall management as far and his lauded business acumen, I'd say he's been a good choice. It would be incredibly hard to follow Gales footsteps but it's a new era and I haven't seen any head scratching moments yet
The AFLW.
We've had some slips but I love how well our girls have been mostly playing. The match against Melbourne for Frees was eye watering but there's some proper grunt work showing and a highlight for Richmond this year.
Feel free to add in comments if anybody reached this point in my yarn. Go Tigers.
2024 sucked dogs ballz, but the allure to reminisce is strong. I’ve been thinking back over my old life and realise that although I don’t get to too many matches, I was lucky enough to be at a few iconic ones. Sadly, I was not there at any of our recent premierships, but four others stick out:
As a young fella I was at the SCG when Richo did his knee.
I was at Docklands when Browny broke his leg.
I was at the 2017 prelim and when Lambert kicked the opening goal and I swear it was the most exciting thing I have ever experienced at a footy match.
And I was at Dusty’s last match, not that we knew it at the time.
So which iconic matches were youse at?
Half time in the W and Tigs have had 1 free kick, Dees 10. Seems about right.
