I saw a 2025 Richmond Calendar in Cole’s today. It’s always interesting who made the cut. Next year we get to see Dustin, Shai and Daniel Rioli including Shai on the cover.
At a quick glance there was no Liam or Jack Graham.
I'm starved of any new draft news, so I thought I'd start a conversation here! With all the chatter about us trading to Pick 2, which now seems to have gone silent, I'd like to express an interpretation:
With North Melbourne locked into Alix Tauru as their number 1 target, I believe Richmond want to bait them into using Pick 2 on him - something that, unless we or St Kilda fold and hand over two Top 10 picks, I think has worked.
This has been done by 'leaking' we would take Tauru at Pick 6. This limits North's market to trade down to Carlton, Adelaide and Melbourne, as they would need a selection before the Tigers to grab him. Would we actually take him? If all the top class midfielders are gone, then maybe.
The result of this is that if North take him at 2, it pushes one of the premier midfielders (O'Sullivan, Draper or Smith) to fall further down. O'Sullivan and Draper seem to be locks at Pick 3 and 4 respectively, so then it would leave Melbourne with the chance for Smith.
But do Melbourne require an accumulator like Jagga Smith? Mocks seem to say that because they still have Clayton Oliver, no.
Enter Richmond at 6, with a choice between Jagga Smith and Josh Smilie.
They're leaking that they'd want to take Smilie too, but I reckon that's a play to engage the Saints or the Bombers into a trade up, further pushing back Jagga. Smiley would be the player that I avoid, as a Tiger fan.
Personally, I'd take North up on their offer for Pick 2: if the asking price falls to Pick 6 and 18. I want Finn O'Sullivan.
My dream take from this draft would be:
18, 20, 22 and 24. Best available or trade for future picks.
What do you guys think re: my draft picks/Smiley as a prospect compared to other midfielders? Do you fancy him more than me?

This is SO niche, so probably impossible to find - but I'm trying to track down an image of the MISS IT sign (see image of the other side - COP THAT). I can't find an image anywhere ... can you help?

Hey Tiger fans!
I tried to do a statistical analysis of your clubs list quality from this past season and compare them to an average Top 4 side over the last 5 years. With that I wanted to try and determine where Richmond should be using their assets to start their climb up the ladder again.
If that idea at all interests you I’d love it if you could give it a watch, I would also be keen to know if you think I was close to the mark or way off.

Hey legends. Just wanted to hear from 3121 members and their experiences about the seating and view of the game. Do you find you can get more up the wing to get a better view of the whole game.
Every final series we've gotten into (men and women) I've painted my nails yellow and black for the duration.
But when is safest? This weekend? Next weekend assuming we win?
Leading all day then let Port snatch the win and cost us a home final. Ugggggggh
I'm just going to tee off here because it really stands out when we're giving away so many frees.
I'm not sure what the cause is, but the camera work leaves a lot to be desired.
Replays that cover the live action, random close ups of Z grade celebrities (looking your way, Flemo), no replay of important moments, weird angles and close ups of odd angles.
Doing my head in.
Holds, pushes, throws, zero paid. AFLW umpring needs a royal commission.
What's the likelihood of us drafting Sam, His form is Amazing atm, I'm aware he's not in this year's draft, but what about next year's ones, I also want to hear your opinion, if you could draft Sam, would you?
Any delisted free agents you reckon Richmond should have a look at?
Personally I wouldn’t mind Tomlinson just for a little depth down back. Wouldn’t see the harm in Parfitt either
With the recent changes at the club, Ross and Ralphsmith have made the front page 💪
We cannot miss finals, however where we end up is still highly variable. We have a massive challenge before finals in the Hawks which will be a good opportunity to see what works.
Assuming worst case we lose badly to the hawks it seems fairly likely we will end up in the bottom half of the 8.
Essendon should beat the blues but are unlikely to make up percentage on us (they have to win by 30+ and we have to lose by 100+). Port are likely to beat GWS so will beat us on points but their percentage is not massive.
The likeliest outcome to me is an away final against Port. Which as an Adelaide based Tiger i'm not unhappy about. If we want a home final we have to win well but also hope for other results.
Either way, a great turn around by the girls from last year.
Half time and we're lucky we aren't behind. Letting the Dons have way too much space and butchering the ball when we have it.
Great goals by KB, Yasir and Sheerin all the same.
With a couple of big names leaving, there should be room in the salary cap. I may have lost a yard or two, but I have got my own boots.
