Respect Threads provide a comprehensive and sourced overview of a character's combat abilities to better inform battleboarding discussions
A Respect Thread is an educational resource meant to provide usable information on a character's capabilities for the purpose of "Who would win in a fight?"-style debate. Respect Threads should be clear, concise, and accurately portray the character in question.
Read the full version of our rules in the wiki!
Respect Threads must contain 5 or more combat-related feats. Respect Threads must contain at least 5 combat-related pictures, scans, screenshots, clips, or other relevant media sources along with information explaining the feat. Feats must be combat-applicable and impressive by human standards in order to qualify.
Respect Threads must cover the majority of a character's primary canon. Respect Threads should cover most if not all of a character's canon before being posted, and contain as many relevant feats as possible. A character's "Primary" Canon is largely subjective, but is best explained as the most important part to cover. Tie-ins, spin-offs, and sequels are preferred but not necessarily required. This will be judged on a case by case basis.
Respect Threads must be properly formatted. Respect Threads must adhere to basic formatting guidelines. Properly hiding your links and using bullet points or equivalent is mandatory.
Scans must be of good quality and easy to interpret.
Do not cite wikis or sources from YouTube. These sites are historically unreliable for hosting sources. Do not use them.
Literature feats need to be properly cited with series or chapter numbers.
Titles should convey who the character is. State which version of the character and what series they are from in your title.
Mod permission is required for composites, IRL figures, and comment extensions. These are all areas where RTs easily get out of hand, so please reach out through modmail for permission before compositing separate canons, basing a thread on a real-life figure, or extending your RT into the comments.
One Repost per day. You may repost 1 respect thread per day (7 per week). Characters in ongoing series should be reposted as necessary.
NSFW is allowed, but must be tagged. Nudity / Sex needs tagged, gore and risque elements may be tagged at the user's discretion, and do not link anything that sexualizes minors.
Respect Threads need permission to be updated. You must obtain permission to update old Respect Threads and you must message the moderators when you have obtained permission to update a Respect Thread.
Be polite and don't downvote. Don't be a dick. This includes not asking for/demanding respect threads in the comments of other respect threads.
We don't want characters who solely exist because you made one and posted it here. At least make a story and publish that somewhere else first.

The Viking Chieftain is a conquering warlord who leads a relatively advanced civilization in a prehistoric world and is the leader of the Vikings. After his people are killed and losing his wife and two sons, he is left as the sole survivor of his tribe and later becomes a herald of a Demonic Entity.

Official Profile
Resurrected through the dark arts, it is the king of Undead Digimon which has obtained mighty powers. Originally a fiendish computer virus which destroyed the computer data it absorbed, it possessed the ability to revive the destroyed data as malignant computer viruses. As it possesses an extremely cruel and cunning personality, it is exceedingly difficult to destroy this Digimon. However, it cannot demonstrate its powers outside of the night, and its power is cut in half during the daytime. Its Special Move is manipulating a countless swarm of bats, and beginning a surprise attack (Night Raid).

A Demon Lord Digimon said to be Vamdemon's final form. Unlike Venom Vamdemon, which lost its intelligence by seeking too much power and was like a beast, it succeeded in surpassing Venom Vamdemon by harmonizing its intelligence alongside all of its other aspects. It possesses an inhumanly cruel personality, and is willing to do anything to achieve its own desires. ###"I... want to keep my humanity, even if it means I'm incomplete."
Found by Sensei roaming the streets with his sister Shizuka, Nagi Taiga was taken in by Sensei, joining the Academy with his sister where he would be come the top student in not only his own class, but the school as a whole. However, unable to live up to Sensei's expectations as a being who could live as long as them, he fled the school with Shizuka.
Years passed, and though Nagi remained the strongest assassin in town, things would take a turn for the worst. In the process of saving his sister from a hostage situation, Nagi got shot in the head, the bullet mangling his brain and reducing him to a vegetative state that he can only come out of when someone tries to kill him.
Wanting to talk to Nagi like normal siblings do again, Shizuka makes it her new goal to continue looking for targets to kill, in the hopes that one of them has enough killing intent to fix her brother.
#Equipment
After becoming paralysed from the waist down, a woman named Dr. Radio built Nagi a wheelchair that would allow him to kill while riding it, including seven different types of wheelchairs for various types of combat and a myriad of enhancements and additional equipment for Nagi to use.
Wheelchair Types
The Tank Chair: The wheelchair's default setting.
Heavy Tank: A mode that transforms the wheelchair into a bulldozer.
Battery Cannon: A mode that makes the wheelchair plant itself in place for Nagi to throw objects without moving the chair itself back.
Iron Fist: A mode that enhances Nagi's physical strength.
Mach: A mode that transforms the wheelchair into a bike-like vehicle for greater speed.
Sword: A mode that equips Nagi with a blade.
Emergency Caster: Works with any wheeled chair. Sometimes Nagi has to make due.
Fisher: A mode that equips Nagi with a line and hook.
General
#Killing Intent Detection
Nagi has the unique and nearly unparalleled ability among even other top class assassins, the ability to gain power the more someone tries to kill him, increasing his physical prowess dramatically. However, Nagi will return to a vegetative state if nothing is trying to kill him
General
Can sense killing intent even if the opponent themselves are faster than Nagi
Killing intent still registers even if Nagi is completely unconscious
Physical enhancements
Killing intent directed at him can bring him out of his otherwise vegetative state
Killing intent lets him move even after his brain was "mashed up" by a bullet
While inside of a mental space, Shizuka's killing intent manages to wake Nagi up
Weakness
Due to the way Nagi's powers work, his feats are by nature extremely inconsistent. As such, I'll do my best to split his feats into low ends, mid ends and high ends respectively.
This is Nagi we see in the story currently after being shot in the head and after having his spine damaged by the death crystal, which has only grown worse over time. For the sake of versus match-ups, this should be considered the default for Nagi's abilities, unless another version of him is specified.
#Strength
Low End
Pulls himself up a vertical wall and minces a group of monkeys
Breaks a man's fingers with a pipe and presumably kills him with a head strike
Yuuri's body weighs four times more after merging with her sisters
Mid End
Pushes Heavy Tank hard enough to force giant gorilla backwards
Pushes Heavy Tank so hard it flattens and turns giant gorilla into mush
Catches Touku's punch and sends her through a building in Iron Fist after previously being overpowered by her
Punches an armoured man into pillar hard enough to snap it in Iron Fist
Tears other armoured men apart and smashes the ground apart in Iron Fist
High End
Hits the ground hard enough to uproot massive chunk of concrete
Reels in giant snapping turtle with Fisher and help from Yuuri
Kills giant snapping turtle in a single blow, causing massive collateral damage in the process
Clashes fists with Uzu and creates massive crater on top of building
Limits
#Speed and Agility
Low End
Spins himself so fast that he turns a monkey into mincemeat with his blades
Moves in Heavy Tank so fast he ploughs through buildings and debris
Cuts down a group of men so fast their heads only fall off as he sheaths his blade
Catches a samurai's extending blade right before it hits his face
Leaps out of his chair, avoiding blades sprouting from the ground and jumping towards the samurai
Mid End
High End
Tilts head out of the way of a sniper bullet from over 500 meters away
The shooter is accurate enough to blow off every finger from a man from a distance
Low End
Mid End
High End
#Endurance
Endures numerous stabbings and losing a massive amount of blood
Can fight with numerous stab wounds and knives in him if powered by killing intent
Although unconscious, Nagi seems to survive pushing the bullet around in his brain
Can continue to fight despite head injuries and a mangled arm
#Regeneration
Seems to temporarily heal his brain damage when someone tries to kill him
Seems to be mostly recovered from his stab wounds soon after a fight
Sensei thinks that Nagi could heal from any wound in an instant if not for the bullet in his brain
Sensei seems surprised that Nagi isn't healing from the attack he just took, implying Nagi could heal from it in his prime
Heals from Sensei's attack once exposed to his killing intent
Regenerates from the wounds Uzu inflicted with killing intent, with Shizuka saying Nagi in his prime could've healed from it without killing intent
Limits
#Misc
Seems to exist in an mental space when he's in his vegetative state
Catches and punches Sensei before he can escape the mental space
A giant mech developed by Dr. Radio and numerous of Tank Chair's followers made to fight Sensei. Taking three minutes to charge up, it requires Nagi to be exposed to one hundred people's killing intent in order to operate.
Causes mass destruction throughout a city and busts through a building chasing Uzu
Uses thrusters to boost its speed and rips its arm through several buildings
Punches the ground, severely cratering several meters of street and destroying a portion of a city
Nagi while he was still enrolled in the Academy, before any of his injuries. This is still technically before Nagi's prime but considering we've never actually seen his peak performance yet, for the sake of versus match-ups this should be considered as his functional prime, as any feat he performed while injured should be on the table for a younger Nagi, and with greater ease.
Blitzes Yuuri so badly she doesn't even realised what happened when she wakes up
Yuuri is four times faster and stronger after fusing with her sisters
Pummels Shirai so hard it demolishes the ground beneath them, uprooting massive chunks of earth
Is able to stand and move after Shirai stabs and grinds the death crystal into his spine
The Future is here, and a robot apocalypse has destroyed humanity. What remains, has taken shelter amongst the ruins of society, and bares arms against its now restless robot killers. Every remaining robot, is controlled by either one of two relentless AI super systems, holding them against their will.
EPOCH is a Guardian model robot, who awakens free of said control. He seeks to find the Princess of the Royal Family of Humanity, not out of programming, but rather his own personal drive^(2).
*All feats and links will be superscripted with either a 1 or a 2, to notate which game the feat or description was pulled from.
STRENGTH:
DURABILITY:
*EPOCH's durability can vary depending on what armor he is wearing, though all of these feats don't require any special armors to perform, they're just general feats he's performed while using the standard Naked Chassis^(2) armor (or any armor really.) For armor specific feats and abilities, go to the Armors section.
SPEED/AGILITY:
INTELLIGENCE:
PRIMARY WEAPONRY:
*A lot of the weaponry EPOCH has access to, and seen in the games, are variants of each other. The list below just takes the most notable entries in his arsenal, and at least mentions one of (usually the strongest) every type of weapon-class that EPOCH can use. "Zeus" for example, is the fourth tier in the Electric weapon class, and the strongest of that group.
Kinetic:
Kinetic weapons are the classic bullet based weapon types. They're an all around effective weapon class that's decent in every category, from range^(2), to damage^(2).
Electric:
Electric weapons can come in different shapes and sizes. Most commonly, they're bursts of condensed energy that hit opponents^(2), but some weapons allow EPOCH to send large charged blasts instead. Electric weapons have the ability to chain between enemies and temporarily stun. Effective against robots made of conductive components.^(1)
Explosive:
The Explosives class specializes in Artillery and Explosive rounds. As the name suggests, this weapon class is effective at hitting multiple targets, firing multiple rounds, and blowing apart enemies.^(2)
Laser:
Laser based weapons can either fire bursts of "condensed light energy"^(1) or literally fire large sustaining laser beams^(2), that can stay locked onto their opponent to melt through them. (Sometimes even multiple beams at once.)
Corrosive:
Arguably one of the strongest weapon-types available. Corrosive, was originally manufactured as a cleansing product, though it quickly became viable in war once its "melting" capabilities were dialed up to 11, to include molecular deconstruction.^(1) This weapon type can linger once it hits opponents, leaving damage even after taking cover.^(2)
ARMORS:
Many of EPOCH's armors, are more resilient to certain things. Some specialize in niche situations, or come with unique capabilities described by their manufacturer. Below are the more notable and unique armors EPOCH has access to. The higher up the list, the "stronger" they are. There will then be a Specialized Armors section, for EPOCH's stolen and specialized armors that are more difficult to rank on a scale.
Standard Armors:
Specialized Armors:
MISSILES:
Arguably one of EPOCH's strongest weapon categories^(2), missiles are his secondary weapon option he can use in battle. From standard explosive^(2), to laser^(2), and corrosive^(2). Some do unique things, and have unique features, others are pretty basic. The more notable and interesting missile options are listed below, the higher up the list they are, the more "powerful" they're collectively agreed to be.
EQUIPMENT:
Like the rest of his arsenal, EPOCH has a lot of unique and advanced options when it comes to extra equipment. These extra items are divided into two classes. Counters, and Boosters, which are to be utilized as an extra advantage on the battlefield. Counters are often physical items that can make a difference within the environment, (grenades) while Boosters are like upgrades (Software Plug-Ins.) At least one of every option from both classes, are listed below, alongside notable entries.
Counters:
Boosters:
*At least 1 of every type of Booster is mentioned below, though not EVERY Booster is. Only the more noteworthy ones.
(ANTI-FEATS):
Tora Olafsdotter is an ice-manipulating superhero from Norway. Her origin has some mystery to it; some claim that she's the princess of a hidden magical tribe in the country, others say she's simply a metahuman who made that story up after accidentally killing her grandfather. Regardless, she made contact with the United Nations, took the name Ice and joined the Justice League International. She became known as the sweetheart of the team, started an on-and-off relationship with the Green Lantern Guy Gardner, and met her future best friend, Fire.
After an excursion to Smallville to calm things down and work out the problems in her and Fire's relationship, the pair were captured by Amanda Waller during her assault on the superhero community. Both of their powers were stolen by the Amazo unit, Global Guardian. When the powers were returned, they went to the wrong bodies, casuing Fire and Ice to swap powers. Despite this they continue operating as heroes, and accepted an invitation to join the Justice League Unlimited.

"How can you go out there again... after what just happened? I don't know how you do it. You saw those people get massacred, and that's just the start."
You all know the story by now. Young Bruce Wayne was changed forever when his parents were murdered in front of him in a seemingly random robbery. The trauma of that night fueled his desire for vengeance against Gotham's criminal element, swearing to prevent what happened to him from happening to anyone else. Using the rest of his childhood to relentlessly train his body and mind, Bruce would eventually make his debut as the masked vigilante, Batman. With his incredible skills, inherited fortune, and a few close allies, Bruce would strike fear into the hearts of Gotham's underground, regardless of if they were a petty crook or the most powerful crime boss.
However, Batman's crusade would take its toll both on Bruce and the people around him as he was faced with several disheartening possibilities. Perhaps his family had been just as crooked as the criminals he battled every night. Were his efforts worth the cost of endangering those close to him? Maybe the existence of Batman raised the bar for a new level of supervillain lunatics to match?
No matter the case, Batman would remain resolute in his mission to protect Gotham's people from whatever dangers crawled from the shadows, becoming a beacon of hope in an otherwise hopeless night.

WARNING: This thread contains spoilers for Agatha All Along. Read at your own peril.
##"You're so much like your mother ." - Agatha Harkness
Billy Maximoff is the son of former Avengers Scarlet Witch and Vision. Having been magically birthed in the Westview Anomaly, Billy seemingly ceased to exist when Wanda closed the Hex to free Westview's citizens from her nightmarish sitcom. However, his soul transferred into the body of the recently deceased William Kaplan. For the next three years, Billy sought to uncover his origins while also practicing witchcraft. This led him to infamous witch/former babysitter Agatha Harkness. Forming a ragtag coven of witches, they embarked on the dreaded Witches' Road to gain what they desire the most. With both of his parents seemingly deceased, Billy hoped the end of the Road would be the key to reuniting with his twin brother Tommy.

#The Witches' Road
The Witches' Road is an extradimensional space Billy unknowingly conjured under Westview, based on a fictional place Agatha fabricated in order to scam groups of witches for centuries. The Road is made up of five timed trials each requiring the expertise of a specific witch type (potions, protection, spirit, divination and green) to pass. Making it to the end of the Road will grant any surviving witch their greatest desire. Much of the Road is modeled off Billy's interests and belongings.
After escaping the Road, Billy sealed it for good and left it as a memorial for the fallen members of Agatha's coven.

###First Trial - Potions
Set in a luxurious beach house, the first trial is alchemist Jennifer Kale's. Each member of the Coven must consume poisoned wine and have 30 minutes to brew an antidote before it kills them.
###Second Trial - Protection
The second trial is set in a 1970's music studio and focuses on protection witch Alice Wu-Gulliver. The trial starts when a vinyl record is played, inflicting everyone with the Wu Family Curse. The curse is broken by performing Lorna Wu's version of the Witches' Road ballad using the instruments available, whereupon the curse manifests as a living demon. The exit then reveals itself inside the piano she used to vanquish the demon.
###Third Trial - Spirit
The third trial takes place in a cabin from the 1980's and focuses on spirit witch Agatha Harkness. The coven must use an Ouija board to communicate with a spirit and find out what it wants. The spirit is revealed to be Agatha's mother Evanora who demands they punish Agatha. When Evanora takes over Agatha's body, Alice magically blasts her out which allows Agatha to drain her power and kill her, thereby passing the trial.
###Fourth Trial - Divination
The fourth trail is set in a medieval castle and focuses on divination witch Lilia Calderu. The coven must place a set of Tarot cards into the correct slots on a podium. Incorrectly placing a card will drop one of the many swords suspended from the ceiling.
###Fifth Trial - Green
Unlike the other trials, the fifth and final trial was not completed by its corresponding witch Rio Vidal. Because green magic encompasses the cycle of life and death, the trial takes place in a morgue with fleeting grow lights representing the countdown. The remaining witches can escape the Road once they learn to attain what they each seek:

Trip Westhaven: A famous big game hunter once posited that after an animal had tasted human flesh, it forsakes its natural prey in a deadly, single-minded search for “the most dangerous game”.
In the waters of Port Clovis, an apex predator cuts a deadly path through man and beast alike. The bull shark, a 300 pound blender with fins, can be found in swamps, lakes or gulfs and preys on anything with a pulse. The only thing in the way of her rampage is a battalion of shark hunters, fueled by whisky, amphetamines and shark hate. However, thanks to the extraordinarily high degrees of radiation in the water, the bull shark is able to fight back with lethal evolutions and establish herself as the apex killer of the islands.

Jupiter: I’ll see the wind blow your dried up seeds away. I’ll eat the heart of your memory. I’ll eat the brains of your kids’ kids! I’m in, you’re out!
In 1929, somewhere near the Mojave Desert, young couple Pete and Martha had a second child. The boy was twenty pounds and nearly killed Martha during birth and, as he grew up, the parents found he was mean as all hell. At the age of ten, after a number of animal killings, the boy burned his house down with his sister still inside. In a fit of grief, Pete clubbed the boy with a tire iron and dropped him in the desert, hoping some animal or the heat would finish the job. Instead, the devil boy lived and became a devil man.
Naming himself Jupiter, he’d kidnap a woman to be his wife. They’d breed and raise a pack of feral children out in the rocky hills. Suffice to say, the social isolation, their devil father, and repeated instances of cannibalism made the Hill People some no good, very bad folks. Surprisingly, the sole daughter of the clan, Ruby, grew up to be a decent, compassionate person and would integrate into society following a skirmish that killed most of the Jupiter family.
Pluto and Ruby/Rachel, appearing in both movies, will have their feats marked with 1 or 2 to denote which film they take place in. I’ll also include these for the Equipment section. Every other Hill Person is only in one of the two movies.

50 cycles ago, Sentinel was the chief aide to the Thirteen Primes, the first Transformers created by their god Primus and the rulers of Cybertron. However, he grew disillusioned with their rule during the war with the Quintessons, feeling both that they didn't have a chance of winning and that he would deserve their power much more. So he struck a deal with the invading Quintessons, and betrayed the Primes, leading to their deaths largely at his hands.
Now calling himself Sentinel Prime and equipped with the powerful transformation cog of the deceased Megatronus Prime, he rules Cybertron under the guise of a benevolent savior, having tricked the masses into believing he was always a Prime, and that he is the only survivor of their valiant battle with the Quintessons. In truth, he implemented an unjust system which saw many Transformers robbed of their cogs before they came online, so as to relegate them to mining duties in order to help pay off his secret debt to the Quintessons.
What a douche!
Strength
He carries a double-bladed weapon with which he can easily impale even a Prime.
Durability
Firepower
His hand turn into a cannon, whose blasts create large explosions.
Has a sort of Battle Mode, capable of unleashing extreme levels of firepower in the form of missiles and various blasters.
Other
His alt-mode is a jet, and like other flying vehicle Transformers he can fly in robot mode as well.
In robot mode, he can fly as fast as others do in vehicle mode.
His Battle Mode has a shield capable of blocking multiple direct blasts from D-16's fusion cannon.
What defines a Transformer is not the cog in his chest, but the spark that resides in their core. A spark that gives you the will to make your world better.
Alpha Trion was one of the original Thirteen Primes, the first Transformers created by their god, Primus. He and his siblings served as Cybertron's revered leaders for millennia, until the Quintessons, planet-ravaging invaders from outer space, brought war to their world. They fought valiantly for hundreds of cycles, until their traitorous aide Sentinel made a deal with the invaders and tricked the Primes into an ambush. They were all killed in the ensuing battle... except Alpha Trion, who merely fell dormant, until 50 cycles later when his lost distress beacon was found by some cogless, lower class Transformers.
Strength
Durability
Survives in stasis for 50 cycles, until some energon revives him.
[Limit] Gets stabbed through the dome by Sentinel, killing him.
Telekinesis
I see everything.
Airachnid is the assistant and most trusted enforcer of Sentinel Prime, ruler of Cybertron. With her deadly skill and array of intelligence gathering abilities, she is Sentinel's most valuable asset, willing and able to kill, capture or intimidate anybody he wants on command, no questions asked.
Strength
Tackles, drags and carries D-16, evidently knocking him out.
Tackles Orion Pax out of the air and into the front of a speeding train.
Durability
Gets punched hard enough to rotate her head completely around, and continues to pin Orion Pax.
Gets tackled out of the air and through a satellite dish by Elita-1.
Skill
Fought Alpha Trion 1v1 and beat his ass (off-screen).
Weaponry
Her spider legs are sharp, and can be used to stab enemies a whole bunch.
Comes equipped with guns on her wrists which can take down other Transformers very quickly.
Other
Her alt-mode is some kind of VTOL, and like other Transformers with air vehicle alts she can fly in robot mode.
She has incredible vision, able to spot small movement, miles away, behind her.
Her head is full of optics, but using them seems to necessitate closing her regular, outside-eyes.
Can display her memories for others to view as holographic projections.
The idea of a unified Cybertron is a myth. All that counts is the strength of one bot over another!
In the days before the fall of the Primes, the High Guard served as the mightiest warriors under their command, fighting for the good of Cybertron. Now, they live in hiding, fighting a losing guerilla war against the traitorous Sentinel Prime with hit and run tactics and sabotage. Starscream is their leader... or he was, until a miner-turned-revolutionary named D-16 beat his ass and assumed command.
Strength
Durability
Gets stomped on and punched repeatedly by D-16 and takes it like a champ.
Gets choked by D-16 to the point of permanent damage to his speech processor.
Gets up immediately after being blasted by Shockwave, and then slams face-first into a building.

In Bionicle lore, Vezon was an entity split off from a vile criminal called Vezok. When Vezok's group, the Piraka, sought out the Mask of Life, Vezon went ahead of them and managed to track it down before the Piraka got anywhere close. As he did, though, the mask forced him into becoming its guardian, fusing him with a beast he would call Fenrakk as he would proceed to fight off anyone who got close enough to take the mask.
In the games...he's there. He's the final boss. He gets no context.
Any unmarked feats are from the console version of the game, while feats marked 'GBA' are from the Game Boy Advance port.
#Vezon
#Fenrakk
When the Piraka came to an island, they were challenged by a group of Toa, seeking to protect the inhabitants. They failed. But while the Piraka ran amok, one more hero emerged to save them all. This unnamed hero would adopt multiple masks, each one giving them the powers and abilities of a different Toa, using their combined force to take the Piraka down.
While the Toa are named in the manual for the home console versions of the game, with these names matching their canon counterparts, the handheld versions only identify the forms used by their domains. This has little relevance on the thread itself, but it's worth clarifying.

In lore, the Piraka are a group of some of the vilest criminals possible, willing to slaughter and control anyone in the way of their goal. Breaking away from one of the biggest criminal organizations of their world, they ventured to a small island in search of the Mask of Life, coming into conflict with multiple groups of Toa as they did so.
In the games, very little of that is conveyed. Instead, they wound up on an island and started causing chaos, defeating the first set of Toa that came after them, causing one hero with the power of many to make a stand to take them down.

A genius when it came to electronics, Phin Mason's life took a drastic change when she agreed to help her brother destroy a toxic form of energy known as Nuform. He was trapped within a force field by the company' founder and vaporized by a surging reactor, and her phone along with any evidence she had to incriminate his murderer was lost. Becoming radicalized, she joined a gang known as the Underground, transforming it into a terrorist group as she provided advanced weapon and gear in exchange for them assisting her in taking down the company no matter what. This quest put her in conflict with the new Spider-Man, her former close friend Miles Morales, as she refused to give up on this goal no matter what.

Bentley Wittman was a genius who seemingly excelled at whatever he set his mind to: He built his fortune on his patents, solved impossible puzzles, and when he grew bored of that he used his mind and inventions to fool the masses as a stage magician. But when the Fantastic Four appeared, his goals dramatically shifted. Believing there was only a limited amount of fame in the world, and that the presence of the team's accomplishments somehow discredited his own, he set his sights upon discrediting and usurping them. As he did, he developed a particular niche in using anti-grav technology (taking on the alias of the Wingless Wizard), and a trait for picking up several other villains to take on the Fantastic Four as the Frightful Four. Over time, the exact focus of his plans may change, from attempting to prevent what he perceived to be the end of the world to attempting to bring his clone son away from the Richards and under his non-existent wing. However, his hatred of the Fantastic Four would always remain as strong as ever.

###Carnage
While suffering from rapidly-deteriorating dementia given to him by Black Bolt, Wizard made one last Frightful Four lineup before his mind could give out. In doing so, he recruited Klaw and forcibly enlisted a recently-incarcerated Carnage to his side. Ultimately, Carnage would be torn away from its new host, causing it to bond with the nearby Wizard briefly, in the process curing his cognitive decline.^SC#5
###Power Pack
When Kamala's Law allowed powered juveniles to fight crime under an adult mentor, the Power Pack found themselves in need of one quickly. This came in the form of Agent Aether, actually Wizard in disguise, who told them the best way they could make a difference would be to use their powers and help generate free electricity. In the process, though, he actually drained their powers, channelling them into himself until he was tricked into giving them back.^PP#3
###Imminence
The Wizard was visited by the Griever at the End of All Things under the name of Imminence, showing him the end of the universe. Seeing her as an angel, Wizard followed orders, setting about to kill Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. During this period, it is said that his powers were amplified due to the influence of Imminence, though exactly how is never shown.

Michael Williams: Well, even if it isn't, I'm not going to play with that, either!
If you were to ask anybody from Burkittsville, Maryland, about the Black Hills and the evil that lives there, you would hear one of dozens of ghost stories. Historians could tell you about the Eileen Treacle drowning of 1825, while old-timers would bring up the Rustin Parr child killings of the 1940s, and younger folks might only know about the three Montgomery College students who went missing in the 90s. But chances are good that the story they’d tell you would make mention of the Blair Witch.
In the late 1700s, when Burkittsville still went by the name Blair, Elly Kedward was accused of witchcraft and drawing blood from children. She was banished from Blair territory and bound to a tree in the Black Hills forest, where she’d die of exposure in the wintery woods. If her former neighbors thought that they were safe after Kedward’s death, they were sorely mistaken. Seemingly overnight, the children in Blair started to go missing. Further tragedy after tragedy struck Blair, particularly in and around the Black Hills, from missing persons to mass killings. Not even renaming the town was enough to erase the area’s dark fate.
No one knows for sure if Elly Kedward still haunts the woods or there’s just something evil that hides in the trees, but ask the locals and they’ll all give you the same advice: stay out of the woods after dark.

Notes
The Blair Witch famously does not appear in the original movie or any other (good) part of the franchise. It’s very possible that what happens in the Black Hill woods is some kind of phenomenon that is not attached to the spirit of a dead witch. For example, some Native American tribes who’ve lived in Burkittsville for centuries attribute the evil in the woods to the dark spirit, Okee, rather than Elly Kedward. A shaman from a the Nanticoke tribe refers to the evil as Hec-aitomix, explaining that it existed since before humanity began. However, since most of the characters in-universe believe in the Elly Kedward legend as the source of the evil, this thread will mostly be written as if it’s her influence that makes the woods what they are.
There are also some inconsistencies in the legend of the Witch, like how the 2016 movie states that people die if they even look at the Witch, while she makes appearances in several of the Blair Witch Files books. Whether those are discrepancies in a 250 year old legend or a 25 year old media franchise, I'll leave up to you.
