I dont get it, as far as i know, items slide in the water (or hopper minecart) on top or a bunch of hoppers that lead into chests, but how do i make it so the hoppers only pick the one specific block i want it to pick up This doesnt make sense to me lol HELP
For a realm I am on, we are building a communal base. I am building a wall around it to protect against creepers. For a entrance I am thinking a gravel door that pushes up gravel when closed and lets it fall when opened. Is this possible?
im building a blacksmith in my survival world and i have an auto smelter in the building. i was wondering if it was possible to have a smoke coming out of my chimney (campfire) when the auto smelter is on and for the smoke to stop coming out when the smelting is complete (whether that be by putting out the campfire or by pistons blocking the smoke).
(i play minecraft bedrock btw)
I built a creeper farm on my java survival realm. From the tutorial i followed i was told to be 120 blocks above the chest for the farm to work. Why is this? Is it also possible to be 120 blocks away in the x or z coordinate?
edit.
Also, if i build a sugarcane farm a few y-blocks above the chest. Will it still function if i am roughly 120 blocks above?
I've seen people say bedrock doesn't have sticky pistons that spot blocks... Can someone tell me what certain words/phrases mean so I can understand what people are saying, Thanks!
Hello, I'm trying ti build a clock tower. Using a daylight sensor isn't going to work because during a thunderstorm the sensor doesn't max out.
Can you get an analog signal out of a command block? You can get time by /time query daytime, but I don't know how to then take that number, and convert it to a signal strength 0-15.
SOLVED!
I'm trying to make a build as compact as possible with Daylight Detector as the trigger to activate my device. My current setup is: Daylight Detector -> 10 redstone dust in a line -> observer -> result. Are there any way to shorten the redstone dust distance?
Edit: Forgot to add image.
I just spent half an hour building an automatic berry farm only to discover sheers in dispensers don't work on berries. Why do sheers in dispensers work on sheep and hives but not berries? Am I doing something wrong?
Is there like a datapack type thing for bedrock edition that makes wandering traders have good deals?
Hey guys sorry for the noob question I'm trying to make a hidden water feature that is under the floor ive looked up a lot of tutorials and tried them none really seem to fit or work. The one I really want to work the most I've tried to get to work for hours but I'm stuck on this last issue and I feel like I'm missing something easy. So all it is so far is a lever going to 2 repeaters on 2 tick delays and powering dispensers with water buckets in them and a redstone torch the redstone torch goes to 3 repeaters powering sticky pistons so when I pull the lever it powers the dispensers after two ticks and un powers the pistons immediately. However the issue I'm having is after the first use my dispensers just spit out the empty buckets. Everything I see online looks like this shouldnt happen and it should just keep spitting out water but I can't figure out why mine arent doing that.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Also I'm not sure if it matters or not but I'm playing on the switch and it's the newest update.
