Yang Jian is our next mythical hero. He is also known as the Erlang Shen (the second son deity) and he is Tiandi(emperor of the heaven)’s nephew. He’s the son of Tiandi’s sister and a mortal. He looks like a handsome and elegant mortal, but he has a third eye on his forehead that can see through all the evil spirits.
Also he was born with immortal power and strength, and learned fighting and magical skills including the 72 earthly transformations from one of the golden gods, Yuding Zhenren. With these, he became the top warrior in the celestial army.
Erlang Shen can be found in the famous novels such as 西游记(A Journey to the West), and he fought alongside the powerful Monkey King and even captured him. His pet is the heavenly dog Xiaotian(roaring sky) who helps him during fights. Yang Ji’an’s weapon is a three-pointed and double-edged sword.
Erlang Shen’s Uncle Tiandi was furious about Yang Jian’s mother’s marriage to a mortal man, so he trapped her underneath Tao mountain. Yang Jian, with the goal of saving his mother, sought guidance from Yuding Zhenren, a powerful and mysterious god. Jian became his apprentice, and after he learned all his skills (picture a spectacular training montage) Yang Jian hacked the mountain in half and freed his mother.
In Chinese culture, he is seen as respectful deity representing justice. He’s also the deity of war, hunting, brewing, farming, preventing floods, protecting children, blessing prostitutes, and he’s also the master of Sichuan province and the creator of Chinese drama.

Hello hello! I'm partaking in NaNoWriMo this year and have chosen to re-write an older, failed project in hopes that I can rekindle my interest in it. I've always found that I can better stick to my writing when I have feedback, and so if any of you wonderful redditors would be so kind as to take a look at it, maybe leave a star or a comment if you want, I would be eternally appreciative!

I'm 14 years old and kids my age go out after school to eat together study together go to sleepovers go to parties and I'm never allowed. I mean literally never never in my life have been to a sleepover and have never been to a party I once lied to my mom saying I had after school math support because I was sick and tired of not being like everyone else and she beat me up scared. I'm really scared of her and I don't want to talk to her about this because majorly I know she is going to yell at me and favor herself. Everything I say is wrong people say my mom is a bitch and that she's crazy and that it's come to a very bad extent. My mom is just like me. She doesn't go out she makes my 18 year old brother do everything for her. Go to the store, she doesn't want to take me to school even though she has a car she takes the bus when she has to go to Mexico for appointments. And that's like twice a week. She stays at home. My dad is the opposite but since my mom has a strong character she yells at my Dad if he approves of anything she didn't do technically she has all the power. My 18 year old brother is the same he's literally 24 hours a day sitting in his bed because he doesn't go to school and he doesn't go out either we're not allowed to go anywhere. My mom doesn't even let me light a candle. It's come to An extent that I'm technically yelling for help someone help me I feel trapped. I can't talk to her or else she'll beat up and yell at me. Last time when she found out I was leaving after school to eat with my friends I tried talking to her about it but she hit me till was scared to talk. I can't seek help I can't call the cops because my mom is just scary I don't see myself doing anything like that. My mom doesn't want to take me to a psychiatrist so I technically got nothing and no one I got nothing to do. Today has been about a month and a half since summer started and I haven’t been out since it started I’ve been invited to 3 parties and 2 sleepovers and I don’t even ask because I know it’s a definite no. I didn’t even go to my graduation because we’re so like closed. Please help I need help
