looking for stuff with a similar sound to Psychonaut 4, Asarhaddon, Harakiri For The Sky, Groza, etc. that sort of DSBM adjacent melodic black metal or blackgaze style. I tend to prefer better production over the more raw style of most bands in the genre, personally.

Hopefully this isn’t too off topic. Some rad folks, idk who, made a metal archives page for my band, but my real name ended up listed on it. I’d like to try and get it off there. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any ideas how to do it?

I'm crazy about this band. I've had difficulty finding black metal that I find fresh and exciting for years. Corubo—particularly the audiovisual project Holocene Extinction is everything I've ever wanted in black metal. Apocalyptic, heart-poundingly speedy and atmospheric, and about themes that actually matter, rather than edgy racist teenager bullshit. And the vocals are incredible. Content warning for anyone who looks the project up on YouTube, the videos for the project can be somewhat graphic. But the music is great and I suggest anyone reading this who's never heard Corubo to give them a listen.

Anyway, can anyone who has heard them or has the patience to listen to them and respond please recommend me more music like this?

Was at xibalba’s show tonight in LA, saw some dude with a totenkopf on his back. I exclaimed wtf that’s just straight nazi shit and pushed him out of the way to get to the front before the next set. At first I was just pissed and after another set I decided if I saw him I’d ask about what he knows about it but like ugh shits gross. Ideas for next time?

So, just yesterday I got a shirt from Drengskapur, which should be getting to me in a few weeks. Beautiful design. I only just today saw somebody point out the tiny Identitarian symbol tucked away within the band's logo.

Now I don't speak German, but to my knowledge their music is just about paganism and nature, and in the area I live barely anyone would know what black metal even is, let alone an Identitarian symbol. Does anyone have any advice? I don't get access to much money very often and I'd hate to have wasted it on a shirt I can't wear without being seen as a bigot ;-; .
