All the series up to T say they’re available for 3 months. Are they leaving/going somewhere new?
(EDIT: getting REALLY annoyed that Reddit is destroying these posts. Re-added the missing entries)
I mentioned some previously, but here's the next set including the Christmas Special! (woo!)

BBC2 Schedule Page

I think episode 6 of the current season has produced one of the funniest interactions I’ve seen
Sandi: Welcome along to Middle Class Man Gets Cross Alan: Every Tuesday at Coffee In A Hole
Fantastic
Also, Aisling miming a sexual act whilst talking about diamonds followed by “I’m surprised I haven’t made many diamonds” 😂😂
Sandi Toksvig presents a volatile episode of QI with Aisling Bea, Mark Watson, Michelle Wolf and Alan Davies.

Title, most other subreddits for shows which have episodes relaeasing have an associated discussion thread for people to talk about them, why not this one?
I'm watching episode 14 of the U series and Sandi just said that the “witch hunting craze takes off around the 15th century” when in fact it started during the middle of the 16th century. Funny to me because that was one of the things my professor was saying during my class on the early modern era 2 days ago.
just wanted to point that out lol
I was wondering if someone in the sub can help me. I vividly remember an episode since Sandi came on as host where during the show, they were talking about surnames I believe to try and find out what job it came from
However, when they got to Phil, Sandi said they couldn’t find anything and it turned out it’s because Phil’s step-grandparents(?) last name was actually Šeputis (as they were Lithuanian)
I’m positive the episode was in the N series and was most likely in the ‘Names’ episode. However, I recently watched the episode and don’t recall the scene. Can someone confirm that I haven’t just dreamt this, and that it’s possibly on the XL version of the episode (as I only watched the normal 28-30 minute one)
Thanks
BBC 2, Nov 19 9pm
"Visual" (5 of 16) with Maisie Adam, Jack Dee, and Kiri Pritchard-McLean
BBC 2 have started to only post that a new QI XL episode will be on a couple of weeks ahead without giving any details. They did it for this one, and again today for the one in two weeks. There WILL be an XL episode Nov 26, pm but there are no details yet.
From an appeal for tiger mittens and Olympic level dogging, to the statue of libertys vagina, what did you all think of the latest episode?
Any ideas? I find it a bit odd.
New to the sub so unsure if this has been discussed, but something I was thinking of. As we’re now on the letter V, there’s only 4 more ‘series’ after this one before the show comes to an end
With that being said, I have 2 questions -
Im reading about the Frank slide and they mention Charlie the horse who died from too much pats and brandy and I swear I can remember Stephen saying that. Anyone know which episode that was?
My dad has been looking for a specific joke for years now. One panellist said something about 'guacamole' and somebody responded that it's Mr. Toad's long lost cousin. My dad absolutely loved the joke when we first watched the episode but we can't find which episode it came from anymore :( Any help would be much appreciated!
Does anyone know what the white-on-blue box behind Sandi’s right shoulder is/is supposed to be?
When I was first watching it, the blue reminded me of a default Windows 2000 wallpaper so I thought maybe they were using computer screens for the backdrop and that one was showing an error of some kind. But it’s on every episode of P, and on closer inspection of an HD screenshot it really does just appear to be a white box on a blue background.
Everything else on the wall is a stylised “P”. And obviously it’s gonna be something P-related, but I just can’t figure it out. Probably something blindingly obvious 😂
Any thoughts?
Rewatching from Series A and got to G or so, reminded me that any episode that has Ronny on I just can’t bear to watch, she never seems to harmonize with the other panelists and the show in general. It just becomes a cringefest.
BBC2 Tuesday Nov 12, 9pm:

Weirdly they have not yet provided extra information for this. Maybe it'll show up tomorrow. If it does I'll edit this post.
BBC2 Tuesday Nov 19, 9pm:
(?), episode 4/16: (?)
Silly television show pitches and sally phillips obsession with lesbians, what did you all think of the latest episode?
Can somebody transcribe it for me, have trouble understanding it🤯
My sister and I both like to fall asleep to QI playing on the tv (separately in our own homes). It’s not the most obvious choice, with the klaxons going off, but I find the conversational tone and laughter rather soothing. I find Stephen Fry more soothing than Sandy, though I love them both as hosts. Anyone else as weird as us?
I was just working my way through Series U, and there was a "fact" on this episode that I believe was incorrect -
I have always understood pork butt to be called that due to the storage used by the butchers, specialty barrels called butts, and the name stuck - hence pork butt.
Did QI get this wrong?
(Sandi and Alan are in every episode, obviously)
