Like the title says my [X] button is not working properly in order for it to work i have to press really hard which is annoying for most games. Also on a side note my battery drains really quick.

When I plug my PSP in, it shows a solid orange light. My PSP won't turn on. Psp starts generating heat.

I've seen some people recommend a Galaxy note 3 battery, other write ups use a no-name chinese phone battery.

As long as it's flat and 4000mAh are they pretty much the same size?

My PSP 1000 used to work when I plug it in. It shows the orange light with the battery. In or out? And I am having trouble figuring out if it's a switch issue, because it won't turn on

Hi, I have a question to knowing people. I'm planning on buying PSP and before that I played, still do, a lot on PPSSPP. Can I somehow transfer them saves to PSP from the PC?

As the title says: are there telltale signs to spot original battery covers from replacement ones? I am interested specifically in covers for the PSP 2000, but any info would be appreciated.

For example, I am sure one of these covers are fake (perhaps both), but how can I tell?

Hi! I bought a PSP 1000 and it doesn't turn on. I connected the charger and when I push the power button the led turns green for 1-2 sec and then nothing. Any ideas?

Have here 2 psp 1003 and 3 MS stock, all 3 works on one console, but on the second orange light keeps flashing rapidly.

• reformatting in working console,

so, i was messing with my psp to fix a problem with my power slider, i tried cleaning the ribbon cable but nothing, then i tried to resolder the switch itself, after that the problem still wasnt solved but then another shit happened, my screen stoped to working, littereal nothing (the green light works). i dont think its bricked cuz the screen doenst even light up in that black tone. is it possible that that one board in the right is messed up and cant turn my display on properly? or i messed up my screen forever?

I enjoy asphalt games and while urban gt is good, I want to play asphalt 4 due to my rotting border at school

So currently own a couple 1000 and want to mod my PSP to be an almost Nintendo switch replacement, but obviously only play retro and PSP games.

What do I mean by switch replacement? I'd like to make the following mods:

TV Out - either modding a 1000 with HDMI out or using a 2000/3000 with TV out cables.

USB C charging - would be nice to use my existing USB charger vs having to carry another charger

Glass screen/IPS - Seems like this is easier in a 200/3000 model for glass screen, but IPS only available for the 1000.

Anyone done all of this and how did it work out for you?

PSP3K doesn't detect battery. Plugged up is the only way to keep it on (has to be a certain angle at that). What should i do? I've messed with everything like reinserting power cables, there doesn't seemed to be a blown fuse, so I'm very lost on what to do next. Only thing I haven't touched is the motherboard.

disclaimer: please bear with me, i am not a techy person, i don't really know the proper terms to use or how to properly say the names but i learned some these processes from watching YT videos and this time im really stuck.

i bought a psp 2000 from FB market place then decided to update the cfw to 6.60 or 6.61 using Infinity 2. y current cfw is 5.00 M33-2 but when i run Infinity 2 it says "Could not disable kernel whitelist (ffffffff)"

what are the steps to fix this? i tried looking into some suggestions here in the subreddit but i find it very confusing and overwhelmed with the information that i can't understand yet since im not really a techy guy...
