Today’s wordle immediately made me think of PLL. I don’t think it’s a spoiler to the game because it’s not even an often repeated line 🥲

Can we talk about that scene mid way through season 5, when Mrs. Vanderwaal hears Holbrook’s evaluation of the crime scene and she loudly says “Nooo”.

I’m not trying to be a hater, and I couldn’t act any better but I’m genuinely curious how the directors didn’t decide to reshoot that scene.

Also the fact that many of us are grown adults now, talking about people depicting minors….

Hello! Hopefully this wasn't done before. Basically we'll try to identify who were the most theorized and most likely to be A specifically in Seasons 1 and 2 and then place them next to the actual reveal who we all know is Mona.

Most theorized - This may come from memory during the show's airing, or observation, but who was the person that the fandom theorized most to be Original A?

Most likely - They may have been a unpopular suspect or even not at all, but who do you think was most likely in a canonical sense? Like having the perfect motives, disappearing conveniently during A attacks, or the means to pull the operation.

Okay so I’m new to this… But they’re currently looking at Mayas killer and Noel has sent Spencer the CCTV from his cabin where Maya was staying when she had run away… Why did he not give it to the police? Like this whole no one tells the police anything is weird enough but him having seen that video and choosing to not give it to the police is just plain bizarre to me. I could see why the Liars were a bit sceptical over the police in the first couple of seasons but this video being kept a secret makes no sense to me. Am I just dumb? 😂

okay so i can't remember the episode but there was a flashback of ali playing piano and then her mom comes in angry because cece apparently pranked mrs. d into thinking ali was at radley-...

but my thing is at this time cece WAS a patient at radley as mrs. d's daughter and where she had a set of ali's clothes that was purchased for her.

so this whole situation is so fishy because why would mrs. d be shocked to get a call saying her daughter is in radley when...she had a daughter in radley? who had ali's clothes because mrs. d bought them for her? and why would she come home and tell ali about it pretending to be shocked? unless mrs. d was lying about it all when she was telling the story back.

i just think it gets confusing that when a character is lying on the show, we get flashbacks of the story they are telling which makes it seem legit. like mona pretending to see ali in brookhaven.

Lol first time watcher and I’m on season 4 episode 21. Hanna has just AGAIN randomly kissed a man and then immediately acts so shocked she did it and apologizes. This is her like, what, 4th time doing this? I can’t 😂

sorry literally watching s4e20 when they find out spencer is on drugs and spencer tells aria ezra is A. Her conversation with fitz after just makes me want to punch her. Just the worst character and idk what ally was thinking this hoe is not compassionate 😭😭😭she think wit her 😼 and nun else

Who do you think was the most evil villain on the show? This doesn't have to be the best or most well written villain, just the one that did the worst stuff to (one of) the liars or other characters. The character doesn't need to be a member of the A-team.

I know everyone loves Mona the most as A, but there's no denying CeCe and Alex did much worse things as A.

I'm torn between Lyndon James, Alex Drake and CeCe Drake:

Worst thing CeCe did: murder Wilden, kidnap the liars and torture them in the dollhouse, attempted murder

Worst thing Alex did: murder Wren, kidnap and torture Hanna, impregnate Ali with Emily's eggs, attempted murder

Worst thing Lyndon did: murder Maya, kiss 2 minors (Maya & Emily) , kidnap Emily and Paige and then try to murder them both

I feel like Lyndon needs to be considered simply bcs of how realistic as a villain he was. He wasn't some stalker mastermind , he was a cold blooded killer. At least Wren & Wilden were corrupt/evil to some extent but Maya was a completely innocent girl (and a minor). The fact that he had nothing to do with the A storyline always made him stand out as a villain to me.

Overall I think all 3 of them were incredibly evil , so I could live with any of these 3 picks.

!Hello book fans! I thought of a fun game we could play. I've started rereading the books, and I forgot how many great storylines there are in the books that the show definitely missed out on. So, with that in mind, I thought a fun challenge: we each have to pick one storyline from the books to keep, that they didn't already put into the show, for each of the girls plus Alison. It can be any storyline you want, from the first or second half of the series, except for ones that they've already done of course. !<

!1. Alison - obviously, include the twin storyline and do the whole Courtney and Real Ali thing. I think that just makes the most sense, no? I can't believe that when it came time to come up with who the final A was, and they first started coming up with the twin theory, that nobody whatsoever thought of using the plot from the books. It's just so much more well done! !<

!2. Spencer - I would keep Melissa and her figuring out their relationship and becoming close. Melissa being one of the girls' biggest allies against A in the last few books was one of my favourite developments! It made a lot of sense, and it was sweet to watch those two figure out their priorities and work on being the real sibling each other needed. !<

!3. Emily - obviously you all know it's gonna be her being the one to hunt down A and save everyone. She was done so dirty by the show, it was obvious she and her love interests were just an afterthought. Although I'd keep her parents from the show, because wow her parents in the books suck balls. !<

!4. Hanna - To me, Hanna is one of the characters that was done better by the show, because wow she really sucked for most of the books. She usually caused problems rather than solving them, and she treated everyone and everything like they were beneath her. I think I'd keep her and Mike's relationship, it seemed to mellow her out!<

!5. Aria - you all know that it's gotta be Ezria. One of the things the books did right was getting rid of him. I think the author must have been thinking of the show fans when she turned Book Ezra into a whiny, jealous loser and gave Aria Noel instead. They were so sweet and adorable and NOEL DESERVED BETTER, that is all! !<

Do you think Alison forced the liars to be her friends ? I remember Jenna rejected Alison so Alison blackmailed Jenna with a tape of her and Toby. I feel like if the liars refuse to be her friends she could find her own friends or A will come after them.

I turn 30 in September and have somehow remained unspoiled for this show. I know vague details like Aria dating her teacher and Emily (?) being gay. I also know it completely goes off the rails. What long standing show doesn’t at some point. That’s only because everyone talked about this show endlessly when I was in high school. I’ve just never actually watched it.

I just started episode 4 and despite it being a very teen show in terms of acting and writing, I’m really intrigued by the story. I find myself cringing hard at the questionable fashion choices (namely Aria. This girl has an endless collection of terrible hats and weird accessories). It’s really giving me flashbacks to high school shudders

I really think Allison is still alive. I feel like there’s gonna be a big plot twist. Just a gut feeling.

So this is the episode where the liars plot a plan to make Emily meet up with A and they’re fake fighting in front off everyone in school. (Those scenes are just so cringe but that’s another story) I have some serious issues with this fcking episode. First of all: aria knows shits about to go down that night and she is soooo stupidly ignorant to choose to tell her parents WITH Ezra about their relationship which she must’ve known would upset them and she would get in some sort of trouble that would make her not gonna make it or as we see gets there to late.. And she couldn’t even pick up the phone to tell Emily she would be late? But she called Spencer? Big A vibes. What a biatch. Second: Toby. Lmfao, that scene with him and Spencer where he’s like “so I’m just gonna watch to people I care about rip into each other’s, yeah I’m gonna do that” like be so for real, I mean yeah he didn’t know they were fake fighting but mind your own business, girls fight, don’t care if you think you have something to say about it you just don’t. And the way he wouldn’t let Spencer leave? I’m fuming. If she continues to tell you to leave and leave her alone, then just do it. But noooo , no no. Third: Hanna. She could’ve easily picked up her phone and call Emily but didn’t, why? Because her father was coming over? She had time waiting for him to get there so what she just rolled her thumbs ? Seriously what was up with everyone. I mean yeah they all get there but too late and leaving Emily in harms way, and then they don’t even say they’re sorry, Aria kinda did but then immediately after was like “I dropped a huge bombg at home” be fcking for real!!!!! seriously you didn’t have to do it THAT night. Yeah well, that’s my rant. TTYL ✌🏻

Obviously the friendships between the 4 girls are what makes this show so great, so I was wondering which one of the 4 girls you think would be the best to have as a friend. Which liar does the most for their friends or is generally the kindest/most trustworthy towards the others?

My personal opinion:

I feel like Aria is a clear 4th here, she spends most of her time with Ezra and did a few questionable things as a friend: not believing Hanna's SA, joining the A team, lying on many occasions)

Spencer would be 3rd for me. She is VERY caring and protective (especially towards Emily) but she would also push you aside if there's something she wants/needs. She has a lot of fights with the other liars in the show because she often acts before she thinks or because something she did made things harder for the other liars, so I have to put her 3rd here despite her caring nature. Also minus points for the whole Spaleb situation.

When it comes to the first place I can't decide between Hanna or Emily. Hanna seems to be the more compassionate of the 2 but would also go further to save herself than Emily would (like when she gave Ella a ticket to a museum where Ezra and Aria would be). Emily on the other hand is the only one of the 4 liars who never gave in to A or did anything to harm another liar. She's also the most honest of the 4 girls. I feel like if you need help with something, Hanna is the beter option, but if you need someone who you can trust blindly, Emily is the better option. So for me this one is a tie, whatever you prefer in a friend (helpfulness or loyalty) will probably decide your pick.
