5th line, pretty sure it’s a print era, wonder what it was meant to say
Is by far Hannah acing the SAT and getting into every college while the other liars barely scrape by. I love it so much LOL
Do we know why Ashley and Ted didn’t end up together? Weren’t they engaged before the time jump? Then we randomly find out he’s ceces dad💀 that whole storyline was wack
love hanna but seriously that girl pained me sometimes. emily wasn’t the weak link it was her. she was always making irrational decisions without consulting the others and making the others clean up her messes. she had no sympathy for some people and would lash out at everyone when they were all going through the same thing. her annoying behaviours is what got spencer shot in the first place, she took it upon herself to convince herself that noel was mary’s child (spoiler it’s spencer) then put her best friend in a position to get shot. but when spencer played ADs game to find information about her mother who was lying in a puddle of her own blood and told spencer she was her mother, hanna got mad and said she had no right to do that, as if hanna doesnt take everything among herself to make selfish decisions ALL THE TIME. she’s even the one that killed archer, she had time to stop the car but no she got all murderous.
WE WERE BEYOND SCAMMED. where was the spoby ending? we hear in the perfectionists that toby and spencer ELOPED… the hastings wedding was meant to be our royal wedding… i would have loved to see a hastings wedding rather than ezrias.. i’m so mad u don’t get it.
so obviously we know that she convinced alison to run away & hide… but was that her initial plan?
what would’ve happened if alison just went to the hospital like she was going too? what was her next step for going after alison?
what would you do if you were jenna? i’m watching 2x13 and it’s the flashback halloween episode. alison tells jenna when they meet for the first time in the costume shop, that she should change her halloween costume bc she’s going as lady gaga and doesn’t want jenna to be the same.
then at the halloween party, alison extends a friend invite to jenna and jenna declines.
obviously jenna had no idea what was going to happen with pushing back against alison’s ways, and im curious, if you were in the same position as jenna… would you have accepted alison’s offer to be friends? or would have the interaction at the costume shop been enough reason for you to decline?
would Spencer and Jason be classed as genetically full siblings since Jessica and Mary are identical twins and both Share Peter as a father? Cant wrap my head around it.
her character is so boring, like i feel like marlene could’ve made her so much more interesting.
We know PLL was originally a 5 season show and then got extended to 7 seasons. Considering the Big A reveal and all that happened in 6A, how do you think it would've played out if it wasn't extended?
I just finished Season 2 and I love the show so far, but I definitely have some THOUGHTS regarding some of the storylines/characters. Here’s a few of them:
Of the 4 Liars, Hannah is by far my favorite. I think her character is complex in a good way, she’s genuinely nice, and she radiates the most personality IMO.
Of the 4 Liars, Aria is definitely my least favorite lol. This might change, but the antics with Ezra are annoying and I think she’s always the least realistic about what’s going on around them.
Ashley is easily my favorite mom. She always looks out for Hannah, she tries to protect her, and she never tries to make her feel like a bad person. I love watching Mom’s on television who feels real and that they actually care about their kid. And especially in the 2nd season, I think she’s the only one who does anything.
The Aria x Ezra storyline is gross and exhausting. I know this isn’t an unpopular opinion, especially being that this show started over 10 years ago, but it’s actually hard for me to watch. I don’t understand why the writers changed this from the book and keep him in the show (yes, I’m already aware of this lol). It would have been more interesting to see her explore relationships of those around her, especially for the sake of mystery.
A’s reveal is actually incredibly done over the first 2 seasons. Mona’s character is always involved enough that she was both never a suspect but also extremely obvious? Idk but I think it’s extremely satisfying! I actually feel bad for Mona in some of ways, as it’s clear the bullying she faced made her that way, which is the best kind of villain.
Maya’s death felt so unnecessary… I have no other thoughts besides the fact that I don’t understand why they did that. Writing her off or weaving her into another storyline would have made more sense to me, but my guess is that they wanted to add some high stakes to the show.
In s7 the liars find her lair and find pictures of alison when she’s supposed to be dead, so this whole time she was looking for her? those clothes were for her return after all, even alison said she never stopped looking for her.
It always baffles me the length that the writers will go to avoid saying “they” when giving pronouns to A.
He, she, shim
Him, her, it, bitch
Etc
Like if you are talking about someone and you don’t know who they are you can literally just say “they”, it’s not that deep
They responded to my last post on this sub with this fantastic idea- I thought it’d be fun!
“You’re so tiny and I love you” -A
day 7: i’m not gonna lie i def forgot about posting this 😭 but you guys officially chose S2 as the best season in the series. i honestly get why s2 gets so much love, but i still can’t believe s4 got voted out so soon: i loved s4. i think season 2 is just so iconic for sm reasons, like the halloween episode (s2 e13) “the first secret” & the stakes being so high for the liars this season omfg. not to mention the A reveal 😩 which was the yummiest and juiciest reveal of the show. if you think we didn’t choose the best season, feel free to plead ur case 🤭 thanks for participating, liArs 💋
I just finished rewatching 7x19 (imo best episode time jump) and imagine if that was the finale. imo it had a lot more closure than the finale and ended off in such a nice way and lowkey I think them never figuring out who AD was would be so interesting, but audience wise for a reveal at car scene in the end we could see AD taking the hoodie off? Idk random thought I had considering how much better the writing feels to me in 7x19. The finale feels like a WHOLE fever dream like the intro scene the random melissa mask the horrid writing like woah
I know my post appears to be asking a question, but it's more of a rant. I just finished watching 7x10, and I can't help but feel the urge to smack Hanna. Sure, her PTSD from being abducted might have driven her to get quick results and act irresponsibly. But her recklessness led to Spencer getting shot, for crying out loud! She might not have pulled the trigger, but her impulsive behavior dragged the girls into that dangerous exchange situation.
And what's worse, nobody seemed to hold her accountable for the mess she created. This isn't the first time Hanna's impetuousness has caused chaos—remember the season 6 finale and 7 premiere? Her hasty decisions led to her own abduction. It's infuriating how her actions continuously jeopardize her & everyone around her.
And God forbid if she should apologize. Hanna decides to go rogue on her own, resulting in Spencer getting shot. She can't even muster an apology for endangering her friend's life. Yet, when Spencer, driven by desperation for answers about her past, engages with A.D.'s game, Hanna is quick to criticize. Despite Spencer's harrowing experiences and Mary's revelations, Hanna remains devoid of even a hint of compassion or understanding.
Makes me sick to my stomach, this guy.
Please tell me he goes to jail.
why would they do her like this ??? i think this is from the 6th or 7th season. it’s so bad and i guffawed when i saw it 😭
If A was one of the four liars. Who do you think would have been A, and why?
This is also a rant. Couldn't figure out how to label this.
To be perfectly honest, I don't know if I hated Aria because of her storyline or because of the character. All I know is I'm mad as hell about her ending with Ezra. The way her parents backed down when they found out Aria was seeing him made me wish I could report them. I was in high school/college when the show was airing. It was the one show I ALWAYS caught live, afraid of spoilers on Twitter, and I have to say Aria made the show less enjoyable. It might seem ridiculous to some of you, but it's amazing how one character/storyline can dim (but only slightly) the joy of a show. I wanted him in jail so badly or for worse to happen. I never saw anything romantic in what they were doing. I'm now a college professor and I can NEVER imagine doing what he did, and my students are adults! Aria was a snob and irresponsible, yet it feels wrong to criticize her because SHE'S A TEENAGER WHO'S SUPPOSED TO DO STUPID SH*** but not be THAT stupid. She wants to act like she's mature for her age but still throws little temper tantrums and whines. Irritating.
Maybe this is why I was a hardcore believer that Aria was A (like some of you, I thought maybe she had "blackouts" and took on the persona of A without even realizing she was the one tormenting them.) Better yet, the short stint of everyone believing Ezra as A almost made me happy. Like "okay! This makes sense! He's totally using her! He's A! I can get behind that!" And the dreams were quickly dashed.
anyways. I think my anger stems from the fact that I was old enough to recognize Ezra as a predator, but someone who was younger could have seen their relationship as "romantic" and "aspirational."
(As I write this out I wonder if I hate Aria or Ezra or both of them)
Okay, rant over.
