Full count, 2 outs, blue team trailing but making a comeback in the last inning, runners on 2nd and 3rd. Batter walks and the runner from 3rd comes home as he thought the walk rotated the runners round the bases. It didn’t. Oops!
And it got even better when 16-year-old British sprinter Jake Odey-Jordan spoke out after bizarrely slowing down and letting three rivals overtake him. He said - “It is all right. I mean, it is my fault so I cannot be sad about anything but myself. It is what it is. It felt good, it was not the fastest run but it felt good. For sure, it could have been sub 21. But it is all good though. I am just out here, it is my first race on this meet, I just tried to get on my legs, nothing hurts me or nothing like that." Source
Here’s another clip of him showboating during a race as he turn around and throws up a peace sign to the 2nd place runner before he crosses the finish line.
