I am looking for an affordable Muay Thai gym in Phuket that provides quality coaching, as I know that Tiger Muay Thai can be quite expensive and the nearby accommodations are also pricey. While I don’t mind compromising on a few facilities, I want to ensure the coaching remains top-notch. I’m not looking to show off, as my budget is limited, but I have a reasonable amount of 40,000 Baht to spend per month on accommodation, meals, and training. Any genuine advice would be appreciated.

I am not concerned about name brands or top coaches. Just somewhere to train ju jitsu that's clean and established.

Like I said the price is the most important to me, some of these drop in prices are absurd even for north American standards.

What gyms would you recommend?

Any Phuket residents know where the White Lotus crew shot scenes when they were in Phuket early this year? Scenes outside of the hotel, that is. I'm guessing there must be some scenes in Old Town, perhaps in a Chinese temple.

Maybe the camera crew were spotted during Songkran? The crew and cast were in Thailand during Songkran but I don't know if they were in Phuket or Samui at that time.

Yes, many movies and TV shows have been shot in Thailand but this is a very popular series. Many tourists will be seeking out these sites (and the hotel, of course) after the season is released in early 2025.

This tour guy is offering me 5,000 baht for private boat to take me james bond and butterfly cave and koh paynee not intruding national park fees. I really just wanted to do some snorkelling and kayaking and see koh paynee. Will I get a better price and more tour options n Phuket main city than in koh kai yai? Important is not how successful he is in winning fights, it's more to show a day with ups and downs and highlight and embrace a human being deciding to aim for a goal in life with struggles and winnings but to show the whole picture to inspire others people to choose the pain of doing something in life instead of getting the pain of the consequences not doing smt out of the life.

Hey, I‘m going to Phuket soon and am planning how to get to my destination from the airport. I have to option to go there by a shuttle transfer for 1100 THB per route. I wondered if a taxi might be cheaper for this but my research didn’t yield any good results. There is so much conflicting information about taxi fares out there. Do you know a reliable source to estimate what a taxi would likely cost for this tour?
