It's been a while since the opera player has been working for me, it shows an incredible amount of ads, it doesn't let you listen to music

I'm trying out opera and I feel like an idiot, there HAS to be a way to name tab islands, right?

How do I change the time format in Opera GX, or rather make Opera GX recognize my system's regional format (English (United States))? Frankly, I don't believe I've ever used Opera GX without it's history browser having 24-hour as the default time format, even though My Flow displays 12-hour. Additionally, the Opera GX app for Android doesn't display times at all, so is there a way to change that?

I just need some help to know if there is a way to get rid of lag. When i am in anything else the PIP is working just fine but when i am playing games it just gets super laggy. Is there a fix to this?

At this point I don’t really care about limitations of older browsers, seeing as the latest I can run is already 8, I just don’t want the built in ads.

For some reason , whenever I am streaming youtube or any video with opera and tab out on discord it shows as a black screen and stops loading in the stream. I removed the hardware acceleration toggle on opera features and discord but it still is showing black screen.. Anyone know why ?

Hi,I'm using opera one on an Intel mac and no matter what it doesn't save any log in info,not even my opera account stays logged in,any way to fix this?

When I have multiple tabs open of Twich. tv, all different channels, the audio gets funneled through one or two tabs. This makes it impossible to jump from listening to one stream to listening to another stream as I do other stuff.

Is there a known fix for a problem like this?

I do not want to hear anything about having less streams going. That will not happen.

I do not care about games. Never signed up for this scavenger hunt. I know receive daily notifications on my phone about this game that I do not care about it. Short of disabling all Opera notifications, is there any way to remove these games?

Have had this browser since early 2021 and I was really happy with it. Used to be able to have up to 300 tabs (mostly youtube videos and pdfs, too) and there would be literally no problem. Now I can't even open 50 without it hogging up a lot of RAM or having very annoying CPU peaks that lag everything else and make the computer audible (something that never, ever happened)
It's even worse because it crashed as I was typing up this post and had to start from 0. Now I can't even open the whatsapp side tab without it telling me it has "run out of memory"
Don't really want to go back to chrome, I love being able to have the tab folder thingies on the side bar (idk what they are called in english, but you know what I mean), but it's working like shit.

Is normal opera or gx on mobile? What are the differencies?

The shortcuts for all the messaging options like Messenger, Instagram, Discord, and WhatsApp work fine, as does the Music Player option. However, the shortcut I added for ChatGPT and ChatSonic in Keyboard Shortcuts doesn't open the AI services from the sidebar.

I'm using OperaGX in Windows 10 and I've had this issue for a long time and never found a solution to it.

In Google Sheets/Docs/whatever I always have the colours show incorrectly, mostly light colours showing up dark. As you can see in this image the top row of colours is the default black to white (from left to right) but it goes from black to white to black again. The middle colour of that row which appears as white, appears as mid-gray in other browsers, which is the correct display.

I've seen people say it's an issue with Force Dark Pages, but as you can see I have it turned off. I've had it off for months so closing the browser or restarting the PC wont do anything.

Has anyone had this issue too? Is there any solution?

I am using the iOS version of Opera on an iPad, with which I use a case that includes an external keyboard. The usual shortcuts like CMD-V works for paste, but when it comes to CMD-T for new tab, or CMD-N for new window, etc., it doesn’t respond. These commands work in other browsers, but I want to know if I’m missing some setting somewhere. I can of course still accomplish those things with the touch screen; its just a little disruptive to my workflow & I’d prefer to have those shortcuts available. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

currently running Linux Opera One and loving. The only disadvantage I found so far is that tabs do not stretch to the top, which is really annoying. It is nicely writen in [this post from 10 years ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/kq9xr/why_does_opera_have_a_2pixel_space_above_tabs_at/). Back then however, that existed a fix. I cannot understand why nowadays there is not an option to fix it. Or is it? If someone knows please help.

first changed the side bar set up so had to be alot larger to do the same thing now no shuffle button to the point no use in using music as a side bar but an open tab anyone know how to fix this shit its annoying. besides changing between 2 sizes to suit both problems

I can open all sites without having to type www before any URL. However, it's not the case for Google.com.pk. I cannot open this webpage without putting www before the url.

According to Opera, "connection to this site is not secure". Not sure what to do.

I am asking here because this becomes an issue every few weeks. It resolves itself automatically and then it starts up again itself.

Using latest Opera browser on Windows 11 (all updates installed on all software involved).

Are there any unofficial ways like mods to add extansions on mobile?

I want all of www.reddit.com redirected to new.reddit.com, but there aren't clear instructions on the extension that explain how to do this
