Do any of you get that weird glitch where you will be swiping and swipe right on one person and then it pops up saying “it’s a match!” But it is NOT the person you swiped on? And then when you check your likes the person you originally wanted to like is not there? And then sometimes I will come back to the app and see I’ve matched with someone I know for a fact I would not have liked !!! Makes me wonder how many of my likes haven’t been applied to the right people :(

I decided to try premium to see likes, but everyone in the likes list has no location, it's just blank.
Is this normal? How can I see someone's location? I'm not interested in people far away.

This app has lowkey gone to trash first they remove the feature to add comments to your answers to questions and now they put being able to see intros behind a paywall 💀

So I have an active account with a sub, I disabled it for a bit and tried relogging/reactivating it today. It wouldn't let me sign in with my cell number, but it did allow me to sign in with my email.

So my account is active and now it's asking me to attach a cell number to it, so I tried, then I kept getting the same authentication error I got when trying to sign in with it to begin with.

So now I have an active account I have no access to which I can't disable again let alone see any likes, it's weird though since it showed 30 likes in the brief second before the "attach a cell number" prompt showed up, which makes zero sense given it's been disabled for a few days now and I only had 2 back then.

I heard that they either reactivated old accounts associated with emails, which given I've used the same email/cell # for my accounts which I have deleted before, I'm genuinely curious if the account I accessed was one from years ago I assumed was dead, in that case, what happened to my current sub? lol.

I get that it's all owned by matchcorp but I mean, you could at least send an email before doing something like this.

Hey there ! I've been having technical issues with okcupid on different levels. But I can't figure out if this one is an error or not. I texted this person (clicking on the comment sign under one of the answers on his profil). Today I saw that it said "you both like each other". Now the thing is, despite that, I dont see him in my new matches section. Also, I can see that the message I sent was read but it also says on the very top "your turn" (meaning my turn to reply back?), but I do not see an answer from him. So I dont know if he did send me a message (which would explain the "your turn" notification) and I just cant see it, or if he is simply not interested and did not reply (but then Im confused aboit the fact that he also liked my profil?). Any insight would be very helpful. Thank youuu!

Accidentally put in wrong birth date on registration. Asked support to fix it. Said t he y fixed it. They had, in fact, not fixed it.

Wrote another ticket because they didn’t answer anymore on the original. I kid you both they said, they didn’t need to do anything because it was already fixed to the date I requested CITING THE WRONG DATE. So they thought I wanted the date changed to the wrong date that I put in initially.

Had to write a third ticket because no one bothered to respond to the second. And no one is responding the the third, too.

I hate this app.

I can't change location in the Okc app, it doesn't register when I type in the location, like it doesn't save it. Same problem on the website, and GPS location is allowed. What could be the issue?

I've been using my current number with my account for a very long time and then suddenly i am blocked from being able to see my account and messages - i am receiving email notifications that my account is receiving likes etc - because i need to "verify my telephone number". I've written to support and had no response at all. Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Have they messed up some people's phone number connection to accounts in the match integration somehow?

I know, there´s everything broken in okc at the moment, just checking is this error only with mine profile or does anybody else have this?

When i send someone an intro, their profile comes back to "You likes" section and i can see what i have wrote to them, but not send a new one. BUT, if i go to another page and come back to my likes section, their profile is there and now i can send a new intro, if i want to. So, i don´t really know, does any intros go thorough at the moment? Anybody else has this?

Superlikes are the only ones, at the moment, that completely disappear the profile I liked and sent an intro to. They are the only ones that work, because some people have replied to me.

30F either DA or FA, want to say I’m some kind of avoidant. Based on life experiences, are these pretty tell tale signs I’m probably…well not attractive? I’ve always questioned how almost every pretty woman I’ve come across is always in a relationship with an equally attractive guy. When I was chubby younger, I thought losing weight would solve everything and it hasn’t. I feel like regardless of what anyone else says, I’ll always wholeheartedly believe attractive women have no issue finding a partner & they have life easier. I’ve been told I’m attractive by a variety of people for most of my life, even when I was chubby. I’m not thin, 5’7 women’s US 10 so midsize but I have that thicker thigh/flatter stomach build. The only time I get attention from guys I find attractive are on dating apps and that’s not telling in my opinion. I’ve been told this guy looked at me/this guy found me attractive from other people but the guy never makes it known to me. And there’s been very very few times where I would see an attractive guy making eye contact with me or at least caught my gaze but I just look away b/c I don’t see the point. I’m anxious/reserved but a lot of people with anxiety are in fulfilling relationships.

Last thing I’ll add was being bullied pretty badly as a kid, again I was chubby so I know this played a part. Worse in middle school, I didn’t have to be homeschooled but it still sucked really freaking bad. And in HS but not as extreme as middle school, HS was more mean girls if anything. As an adult at old jobs, I did have confrontation/clashing w/personalities too. And let’s not forget shit bosses. Since I’ve worked remotely for the past few yrs, I haven’t had drama with coworkers or mgmt. Let’s hope it stays that way, I’ve had to deal with toxic family members too but that’s a thing of the past.

He always starts the conversations I never text him because I was at his hometown 3 times and I told him if he wanted to meet. But he was busy? Should I just drop him and delete him from snap?

He is the one texting everyday but takes 8-12 hours. He contacts me.

So I don’t use OkCupid much, in fact I forget about it for months at a time. I have a very specific non negotiable standard that very few people meet, so I rarely swipe right and get bored. For the first time ever, I found someone that seemed perfect on paper. Swiped right on her and we matched! I was so excited. I sent her a message and then…. It disappeared. Immediately. As soon as I sent the message. No trace that we matched or that I sent her a message. Not sure if there’s any way to get it back. I tried refreshing my messages and also closing and opening the app again. Nothing. I matched with someone else shortly after and that message showed up. Just not the one I care about. I think it was a glitch for just that one match 😩 Dream girl is lost fr 😔

So I'm getting to know the app a bit, and I'm seeing that some of the profiles I liked aren't as much for me as I originally thought. So now as I'm removing them, they keep reappearing every time the page reloads. Anyone know why?

So, there's this girl I like for quite some time. Let's say that we spend a lot of time together (we are colleagues) and I don't know what to do since I don't want to come across as a creep or something like that. There is a possibility she likes me back (we have many things in common and can talk for hours). The thing is we talked about each other's lives (friends, families, hobbies, etc) but one issue that's never been discussed is relationships and romantic life. Hello. I have a question about a guy I wrote with. (F31) (M29). The thing is, it started with me writing with this guy from March. We texted together almost every day on snap. He got mine through my sister when he saw my picture and was interested in getting to know me. We then wrote together for a few months without meeting, as he also lives 3 hours away fro me. I ended up removing him from snap because I was dating someone else in the meantime, so I removed him without saying anything. I know it might have been wrong. But around the month of June I ended up adding him again on snap and he accepted me, even though I had removed him, so I was a little happy that he wanted to talk again. So we wrote together again from June to August and we talked about meeting up but it always ended up that we both couldn't anyway. I was also often in his hometown often and he knew it but we didn't meet up but we had agreed to meet and we had a date at one point but I had to cancel. We wrote everyday on snap. But there was one thing that annoyed me about him was that several times he answered very slowly between 7-10 hours other times he answered quickly. But I could see on snap he looked quickly at the message snap as soon as I replied just without opening the message. So he waited to answer. And know he works a lot. But he wrote every day to me and it was mostly him who started the conversations with me every day.

Then I confronted him about it, that it was a bit annoying that he took so long to answer, then he wrote I’m sorry and that it wasn't on purpose and he will get better at it and I should also answer faster myself but he took several hours than me. So in August, the last time we wrote, he wrote to me after a few hours, then I chose to open his message without answering because I got tired of him answering me slowly. After a week we didn't write then he removed me on snap. I think he probably removed me because I chose not to answer? But now I kind of regret not answering him back in August.

So now I'm thinking of adding him back on snap to see if he still wants to talk? Although he was the one who removed me from snap.

Is it wrong of me that I didn't answer him even though I got tired of it? I was interested in him and so was he. I Would like advice from both men and women what would you do?
