After so many painful bamboozles, the time has finally arrived to do something about it. Join us in the fight for accountability on reddit. No bamboozle.
Rules:
1) This is a satirical subreddit
- At the end of the day, NoMoreBamboozles (NMB) is meant to be lighthearted and satirical. We all know karma doesn't actually matter in the real world and bamboozling online is not a serious crime. The fun of this subreddit is playing along. Witch-hunting or brigading other subreddits (even against the worst Bamboozlers) will never be tolerated. Please do your best to participate in the spirit of the subreddit.
2) No low-effort content
- As much as we all enjoy memes, this is not a subreddit for low effort content, making your own promises, or generally derailing the conversation from its goal. If you want to post a meme about how lordtuts is Satan in the comments, that's fine, just don't make a post specifically for it. Pretty straightforward.
3) No social drama or politics
- Bamboozling transcends all boundaries. We're not here to be divided by politics, hot button social issues, race, gender, etc. Posts about any of those topics will be removed. As I've said previously, the key word for this sub is "lighthearted." We're here to be the bamboozle scribes of reddit. So don't be an idiot when it comes to this. Take your time and think before you post.
4) Keep it on Reddit
- Promises referenced must specifically reference Reddit. So for example if in an AMA someone made a promise to do something, a report could be filed, but if some celebrity or politician failed a promise outside of the reddit context it doesn't belong on here. With that being said, if someone on twitter says "If a picture of this tweet gets 10,000 upvotes on Reddit I'll do x," that could be submitted here.
5) Be respectful
- Respect one another. NMB must stand together if we hope to have an impact. Infighting will only make us weak and vulnerable to bamboozling. Name calling, petty arguments, and nonsense like that will be deleted and repeated problems may result in a ban.
6) Don't report on yourself
- This isn't a place for self-promotion. Reporting on a promise you made in another subreddit, posting about a video you're uploading to YouTube where you fulfill a promise, or anything similar will get your post removed and likely strip you of your opportunity to make it into the den. Message the moderators first if you're unclear about a post breaking this rule.
7) Have fun
- NoMoreBamboozles is a subreddit dedicated to keeping track of promises made concerning Reddit. Promises are written up in Bamboozle Reports and users are then held accountable! Once a promise has been resolved we induct them into one of our three Rooms of Remembrance. We take this stuff way too seriously and we love it.

Riot released multiple works that could be seen as cinematics since, but the cinematic in question (Annie: Origins) had production time of about 9 months, it's been 10 months since.

Overview:
Originally making a promise to eat an entire set of keycaps if Team Liquid makes it to worlds, /u/khazixian quickly updated his promise to the more reasonable - and significantly safer - promise of eating pictures of keycaps if they win.
Although the community was unhappy about the promise change, promises that pose a health risk to the creator are not at all ideal. As the world championship tournament continues, I will be tracking this one with great interest.

/u/ang1019 promises to flip a switch that has a sign saying "Leave On!" for 50 upvotes. He is currently at 3215 upvotes. Let's see if he delivers.
UPDATE: He promises to flip it on either Wednesday or Sunday. He most likely intends to bamboozle us, given the vague nature of his promise, but I have given him a friendly reminder to make him change his mind.
UPDATE 2: He says that it is a Bamboozle Free Guarantee. He only has a 5% chance of delivering and 95% of bamboozlers claim that their promises are Bamboozle Free Guarantees. This means that we have a 190% chance of being bamboozled.
UPDATE 3: He now wants an extension until next Sunday. It appears that my previous calculations were correct and we are definitely going to be bamboozled. I have begun preparing the paperwork for a /r/KarmaCourt case.
UPDATE 4: He claims that he will probably flip it on Wednesday. This can be interpreted as a deliberate and calculated attempt to build up hype. I predict that he will not flip the switch then move the date again on Sunday to keep us on the edge of our seats until we fall into the Pit of Uninterest. /r/BamboozleBets
UPDATE 5: In a statement that I have totally not taken out of context, he admits that [the upcoming bamboozle] was worth it for that sweet, sweet karma.
UPDATE 6: He fully expects to be lynched by a mob carrying extra heavy pitchforks for not flipping the switch already. I would like to clarify that we will only lynch him after /r/KarmaCourt reaches a guilty verdict for either bamboozlement or conformity, whichever charge sticks.
UPDATE 7: Its Wednesday my dudes. He still hasn't delivered.
CONCLUSION: He delivered! Filthy conformist...

They have come through. I'm not quite sure how to prove this other than linking amusingly confused /r/lounge posts, but they gave everyone who upvoted it one day of reddit gold. I consider a one-day subscription to be well within the bounds of what they stated.
