Do you all brew anything others IPAs around here? Just moved here from Florida to the Plymouth area. Hoping to find a place nearby that brews a couple good sours. Any recommendations?
Hey, NHbeer!
Granite Staters, raise your glasses! Summer is up and running, and there’s no better way to beat the summer heat than having a chilled glass of beer. It’s even better if it’s locally brewed, and craft!
Here are our favorite spots--what are yours? https://bit.ly/NH-Craft-Breweries
Inspired by some recent posts in the beer sub, I think this is the year I complete my full NH brewery visits. As a regular of Liquid Therapy in Nashua, it’s been far too long since I’ve visited somewhere new.
Not to say that I haven’t been other places. Schilling was great. Concord Craft and Feathered Friend are staples for me as well but I want to try something different.
Any recs for my journey?
I'm heading to Waterville valley with my family in a few weeks. I'm not a skier so I'm looking for some good beer to drink while everyone's on the mountain. The only place I'll definitely be heading is Schillings. Any recommendations for other breweries, bottle shops, or bars with good draft list around Waterville valley? On my last trip to Schilling, I did spend a small amount of time at the Woodstock inn and One Love. I wasn't blown away by either of their offerings at the time, but I'm willing to try them again. Any recommendations would be much appreciated
Just moved back to the northeast after twenty years in the west. Is anyone brewing gluten-reduced beer using ClarityFerm (or something similar)? I was fortunate in CO to have a few options; I don't expect the same here but figured I'd ask. Thanks, all!
Hello, I have quite a few mostly bottled sour beers that I’d like to get rid of. I started to get major reflux from them and so I had to cut them from my “diet.” Many of them are from decent brewers like Allagash, Cascade, Ex Novo, Firestone Walker, Goose Island, Brooklyn Brewing, Trillium, Rogue, Victory, Woodland Farms, Rising Tide, Cryptic Project, Tröegs, Hidden Cove, Petrus, Ommegang, New Belgium, Big Water, Deciduous, Gneiss, Vanderghinste, Duchesse de Bourgogne, Rodenbach, Lindeman’s. Might be a couple I’m missing but I’ll put together a complete list with some pictures in the next day or two and update this post if anyone is interested. I also have some Growlers, Squealers, and glassware I’d be interested in parting with. They’ve spent their life away from direct sunlight in my cool basement. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions and maybe we can make a deal happen. Thanks.
It appears over the past 24 hours, there has been some odd posts to the sub. I appreciate the quick reports regarding them. I didn’t mark this sub as private during this event since we are small enough as it is, and I think that may be connected to the spam.
I’ve been thinking of taking a more active approach in this community and am curious what sort of info y’all would like to see. Like many of you, I love the microbrewery culture that we all share in New England and have been thinking about trying to showcase different breweries throughout the state.
If there is anything you would like to see, please feel free to share with the community. Whether it’s your favorite brewery, or if you do some home-brewing yourself. We are all here to celebrate beer.
Bit of a dud here in Concord relatively, but Safe Space from Concord Craft Brewery is keeping me warm.
Hello all,
I recently moved to NH from ME, and for Christmas I wanted to purchase some NH beers for my father for Christmas. I am looking for primary lagers or other tame (boring) beers from NH. Thank you in advance!
LOVE NH!
What's your opinion on the most overrated Craft Brewery located in NH?
When hosting seasonal events - best (lesser known and/or local) beers to offer? What do those who cater to the craft beer crowd serve during this season, that is also fitting to drink at both Thanksgiving AND Christmas events?
I took this sub over because it was an abandoned dumping ground for snaphat porn (yeah, go figure).
If you want to try to grow the sub or whatever feel free to hit me up and I'll mod you.
Manchester Makerspace is launching a series of classes on brewing, starting with mead.

See details & purchase your $35 ticket on Eventbrite, or you can pay in person this Monday during our regularly scheduled open house.
Hi New Hampshire,
My wife and I are spending our anniversary in Manchester next week. What are your recommendations for three or four breweries (or beer-related places) we simply can't miss? Thank you!
Title says it all. Never been to NH, and looking for some good brewery/beer recommendations
Thanks!
Moonlight Meadery & Hidden Moon Brewing at over the moon farmstead is a meadery and brewery [in lovely Pittsfield, NH](1253 Upper City Road, Pittsfield, NH 03263).
Not your typical "beer" spot, but they're open 7 days a week and frequently do live music, have breath taking views and is a great spot to really enjoy the fall weather. It's also a fairly unknown spot so you don't have to deal with too many leaf peepers.
Hi,
I'm new to NH and I love hazies, but does anyone in the state brew a decent west coast?
I need some clear IPAs in my life.
