Anyone in the middle Mass area (Worcester/495 area) see Blue Spot on the shelves? I've found it at one liquor store for $220 which is a tough pill to swallow since I bought it this time last year at that very liquor store for $150.
Hi everyone. I am new to the subreddit and have had trouble finding good prices for anything besides what they sell at total wine. I’ve been able to get bottles at all of those drops but I was looking to get a bottle of Blantons at a decent price for my parents for the holidays.
This time of year seems to be when a lot of allocated drops happen. I’m located in south coast Mass, just curious to see if anyone scooped anything up lately around here?
Anybody try that most recent 19yr from Mac? Looking forward some tasting notes to decide if it’s worth $400. TIA
Do any of you have a Costco membership just for bourbon?
I see these bourbon hunt videos of Costco with ridiculous amounts of good bourbon. Is it similar in Massachusetts?
Has anyone seen this around recently? I know the Danvers Costco had a ton a few months ago but I'm worried I missed out on this one.
EDIT: FOUND! Thank you to all who helped. I learned that this bottle is only available through Costco, apparently.
I’ll be visiting my parents in Hull for Thanksgiving next week and was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend me some stores to hit. I’m originally from Marshfield but didn’t get into bourbon until after I moved to Charleston, SC so I never really paid attention to the selection up there. I’ll also be proposing while I’m up there so if anyone knows a good shop on the south shore where I can get some celebratory bottles I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
This was a banger of a week for us here in Ohio. Red Weller comes out about once a month, and this was the week for that which is always nice. But today was also an annual statewide event called “Single Barrel Saturday.” Got picks of Elijah Craig, Frey Ranch, and 4 Roses. As a bonus, they also released some Blue Weller (not single barrel) and Wild Turkey 70th Anniversary.
I’m traveling to Boston for work this week. I hear Gary’s, Liquor Junction, Burlington and Gordon’s are good places to check out.
Really hoping to find a bottle of Found North since we don’t get that here and all the reviews on Reddit rave about it. Also happy to find store picks or good craft distilleries that don’t have nationwide distribution.
If you guys have any recommendations for bottles to look for or places to shop at, I’d appreciate any tips!
I'm heading across the Pike later today for a college visit w/my son. Any places in western MA (or even eastern NY state) that I should consider making time to stop at? Good prices/especially good selection/perhaps the odd allocated bottle? That whole area is an unknown to me except for Table & Vine (which I didn't find terribly impressive the times I went there).
At Burlington W&S and Rapid Liquors. I picked up the Burlington one last night - they still had at least 20 or so bottles left. Rapid announced their pick this AM - supposedly 8.5 years old.
Currently has Blanton’s Single Barrel, Eagle Rare (10 yr) and Buffalo Trace
Apparently had Weller out earlier but all gone now.
I swear I saw this bottle a bunch of places not even a month ago and now I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any leads around the North Shore area of MA? Salem/Beverly/Danvers/Peabody/Swampscott.
Snagged a bottle of Blantons for $63.99 today after overhearing another patron get a bottle and an ER10. Have to ask an employee.
They also had a chance to Blantons Gold for $129.99 but you have buy a store pick and get the right “key” to unlock it. Not sure what the actual odds are but pretty cool gimmick
Hello all, friend and I have tickets to the distillers showcase in Manchester, NH on Nov. 7th. This is our first time attending so I was hoping some might have any type of info on what to expect. Is it just free samples galore? Do they sell bottles at the event? Or let you order bottles and have them shipped to a NH outlet to pick up later? I see there’s lots of restaurants listed as vendors as well.
In stock NHLO Nashua exit 6. At the register.
Blanton’s, Weller 107, SR, and Stagg popping up at Total Wines across Mass. Natick, Burlington, and Everett to name a few. All are able to be added to cart and purchased online.
Happy Hunting Friends! 🥃
Has anyone seen any MM lost recipe at Costco lately?
A few Barrell selections are around 50% off. Given the typical price point for Barrell, could be a good option for trying them out.

I grabbed a bottle of Vantage, which I had heard lots of praise for but hadn't wanted to take a flyer on at $80. Anxious to try it.
Hey y'all,
I'm planning to go pick up my NHLO lottery bottle tomorrow, but I realized that my driver's license still has my old address from before I moved. Do I need to bring anything else to verify the address or is it OK as is?
I got a Weller CYPB!
