Saw today New Hampshire LQ Portsmouth Rortary $399 for a Hazmat WFE. I picked up one the guy said they had more out back. My sticker said 15 of 63
Will be there for a convention and want to potentially bring back some allocated whiskey at a decent price
Based on today's IG posts, a bunch of places have Old Grand-Dad 114 back in stock, apparently for the first time in years. These include Burlington W&S, Rapid Liquors, and some Total Wine locations. Around $31 or so.
As title says anyone have some suggestions? There’s a couple of places around that have eagle rare/ blantons/ Russel’s 15 etc, but all at secondary plus. I.e their weller full proof is $300.
move to the area recently and want to explore/find a unicorn
I’ve been eyeing a good chunk of store picks from liquor junction and missed the double punch day on Nashville Barrel Company the other day. Does anyone know if LJ does like an annual punch day or anything like that?
Looking for decent stores near Quincy. Will to drive maybe 30-45 minutes or so to get a chance at rarer stuff and better prices on scotch.
I know it’s in CT and ME, but work is taking near the RI border this week. If it’s something that’s regularly available I’d love to get my hands on some.
NHLO Nashua DW had WTMK Triumph and all three Grain to Glass releases this morning.
No RR15 left or arrived yet. Not sure which.
It’s hard to write this without it sounding like an ad lol, but just want to throw it out cause it’s a pretty crazy deal. MSRP is 89 and they’re selling for 45.
14 yr Canadian rye, 10 year Indiana, and some younger TN and KY in the mix
Apparently they jumped on a pricing error and bought the whole lot
I did see there’s a bar/restaurant guide but looks like it’s been a bit since updated so thought I’d post an iso here.
Visiting from Montana next week to see my brother (as you can imagine, not a lot of options here) - wanted to see if anybody had any recommendations for bars/restaurants in the area that have a good variety of whisky for reasonable prices? Allocated stuff is cool but mainly just looking to try bottles I don’t see much around MT. Will be in Braintree but doesn’t necessarily need to be confined to that area.
Any insight helps, and thanks in advance!
Heavens door 5: $599 Little book : $159 Willett 8 year: $229 Bookers: 99.99
First time I've seen a purple top in a while, I forgot they changed the bottle.
I'm not looking for any of these but figured I'd post it in case others are.
Happy hunting
Dion's just released an Eagle Rare barrel pick. I picked up a bottle at the Lexington St. (Waltham) store, but I think they have stock in some other stores as well. $49.99, which is more than Burlington W&S is charging for ER - then again, Burlington is regular ER, not a store pick.
When I was at Dion's they also had BT and a single bottle of Weller SR. I was actually planning to buy the Weller until I saw the price - $75. Normally Dion's is very fair in their pricing, so I was surprised to see that kind of markup. Opted for the ER pick instead.
Burlington wine and spirits just had an eagle rare drop. Limit 1 per person. Price isn't online but they are normally very fair on pricing.
I'm looking to expand my bottle shopping beyond domestic stores. Could anyone recommend sites with good selections of OB/IB Scotch and share their experiences, preferably for shipment to MA? In particular, I'm curious about how shipments enter the country and are received and how tariffs are collected. Thanks in advance.
been seeing Stagg pop up in Massachusetts. Anyone have any leads on any in south coast MA?
Recently moved from a state where this was widely available as a budget daily driver. Is ET BiB available anywhere in New England? I’m not seeing it anywhere on the South Shore of MA
Does anyone know of any local stores with an RRPBS? Would love to add one to my selection. Thanks!
Edit: preferably near north shore MA
The NHLO store in Bedford (9 Leavy Dr.) has all their unclaimed lottery bottles out on the floor.
1x Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, 3x Parker’s 10 Rye, Blanton’s Regular and 1x SFTB, 2x Stagg, 1x Michter’s 10 Rye and others
Update: as of 7/3 11:50am all that’s left is Eagle Rare, Sazerac and Buffalo Trace
The Country Mile in Greenville, NH (the only state agency liquor store not NHLO in NH?) has like a 2.5+ cases (12 or 16? btls per case) of Weller Antique 107 Sazerac Barrel Select picks for $70ea. 1 per person
Passing along the info from a FB post, but verified after I went there tonight 6/28 after work around 6pm.
