Unofficial subreddit for supporters of the NDP, unions, and human rights
For those that seek a future that brings together the best of the insights and objectives of people who, within the social democratic and democratic socialist traditions, have worked through farmer, labour, co-operative, feminist, human rights and environmental movements, and with First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, to build a more just, equal, and sustainable Canada within a global community dedicated to the same goals.

Language matters.
The President is empowered by a Congress controlled by a narrow majority. Rather than the individual they have chosen, I am pissed at the Republican party. And disappointed in the American people. The guy? He was always that way and would have continued to be so at a safe distance from the levers of power without his enablers.
It is the American and especially Republican relationship with Canada that is important in this situation. Those are what endure, that person is only momentarily significant. So, where we can choose the narrative, I think that’s important to focus on.
Plus I suspect he likes the sound of his own name.
Thanks.
No Lib either.
Guess I'm voting Green this year.
Are the NDP even trying?
This is a good site to follow as the campaign gets rolling. Ontario voters are still distracted by a leadership race, a likely Federal election, and US tariffs, but will eventually pay attention to Ontario.
We need better than 40% voter turnout. And we need a strong NDP leader and policies that lead to concrete achievable goals.
It’s bad enough they refused to let Sarah Jama back into the party, but if they run a candidate against her in HamCen, there’s not a chance in hell I turn out to vote for them. (I do not live in HamCen myself).
I've thought of New NDP slogan: You've tried Red. You've tried Blue. Now, lets see what ORANGE can do!
Yeah, that's pretty much it for this post, I just wanted to throw it out there in the event I forgot it.
If you want to use it, by all means; go for it!
